मत्ती 24
1 और ईसा हैकल से निकल कर जा रहा था, कि उसके शागिर्द उसके पास आए, ताकि उसे हैकल की इमारतें दिखाएँ।
And Jesus went out, and was going from the temple; and his disciples came to him, to show him the buildings of the temple.
2 उसने जवाब में उनसे कहा, “क्या तुम इन सब चीज़ों को नहीं देखते? मैं तुम से सच कहता हूँ, कि यहाँ किसी पत्थर पर पत्थर बाक़ी न रहेगा; जो गिराया न जाएगा।”
And he answering said to them, See ye not all these? Truly do I say to you, There will not be left here one stone upon another, that will not be thrown down.
3 जब वो ज़ैतून के पहाड़ पर बैठा था, उसके शागिर्दों ने अलग उसके पास आकर कहा, “हम को बता ये बातें कब होंगी? और तेरे आने और दुनिया के आख़िर होने का निशान क्या होगा?” (aiōn g165)
And as he was sitting upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, Tell us, when will these things be? and what will be the signs of thy coming, and of the end of the world? (aiōn g165)
4 ईसा' ने जवाब में उनसे कहा, “ख़बरदार! कोई तुम को गुमराह न कर दे,
And Jesus answering said to them, See that no one deceive you.
5 क्यूँकि बहुत से मेरे नाम से आएँगे और कहेंगे, ‘मैं मसीह हूँ।’ और बहुत से लोगों को गुमराह करेंगे।
For many will come in my name, saying, I am the Christ, and will deceive many.
6 और तुम लड़ाइयाँ और लड़ाइयों की अफ़वाह सुनोगे, ख़बरदार, घबरा न जाना, क्यूँकि इन बातों का वाक़े होना ज़रूर है।
And ye are to hear of wars, and rumors of wars; see that ye be not troubled; for these things must come to pass; but not yet is the end.
7 क्यूँकि क़ौम पर क़ौम और सल्तनत पर सल्तनत चढ़ाई करेगी, और जगह — जगह काल पड़ेंगे, और भुन्चाल आएँगे।
For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines and earthquakes in divers places.
8 लेकिन ये सब बातें मुसीबतों का शुरू ही होंगी।
But all these things are the beginning of travail-pains.
9 उस वक़्त लोग तुम को तकलीफ़ देने के लिए पकड़वाएँगे, और तुम को क़त्ल करेंगे; और मेरे नाम की ख़ातिर सब क़ौमें तुम से दुश्मनी रख्खेंगी।
Then will they deliver you up to distress, and will kill you; and ye will be hated by all nations on account of my name.
10 और उस वक़्त बहुत से ठोकर खाएँगे, और एक दूसरे को पकड़वाएँगे; और एक दूसरे से दुश्मनी रख्खेंगे।
And then will many fall away; and will deliver up one another, and will hate one another.
11 और बहुत से झूठे नबी उठ खड़े होंगे, और बहुतों को गुमराह करेंगे।
And many false prophets will arise, and will deceive many.
12 और बेदीनी के बढ़ जाने से बहुतेरों की मुहब्बत ठन्डी पड़ जाएगी।
And because iniquity shall abound, the love of the many will wax cold.
13 लेकिन जो आख़िर तक बर्दाश्त करेगा वो नजात पाएगा।
But he that endureth to the end will be saved.
14 और बादशाही की इस ख़ुशख़बरी का एलान तमाम दुनिया में होगा, ताकि सब क़ौमों के लिए गवाही हो, तब ख़ातिमा होगा।”
And these glad tidings of the kingdom will be published throughout the whole world for a testimony to all the nations; and then will come the end.
15 “पस जब तुम उस उजाड़ने वाली मकरूह चीज़ जिसका ज़िक्र दानीएल नबी की ज़रिए हुआ, मुक़द्दस मुक़ामों में खड़ा हुआ देखो (पढ़ने वाले समझ लें)
When, therefore, ye see the abomination of desolation, spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place, (let him that readeth understand, )
16 तो जो यहूदिया में हों वो पहाड़ों पर भाग जाएँ।
then let those who are in Judaea flee to the mountains;
17 जो छत पर हो वो अपने घर का माल लेने को नीचे न उतरे।
let not him that is on the house-top go down to take away the things belonging to his house;
18 और जो खेत में हो वो अपना कपड़ा लेने को पीछे न लौटे।”
and let not him that is in the field turn back to take his garment.
19 “मगर अफ़सोस उन पर जो उन दिनों में हामिला हों और जो दूध पिलाती हों।
And woe to the women with child, and to those with children at the breast, in those days!
20 पस, दुआ करो कि तुम को जाड़ों में या सबत के दिन भागना न पड़े।
And pray that your flight be not in winter, nor on a sabbath.
21 क्यूँकि उस वक़्त ऐसी बड़ी मुसीबत होगी कि दुनिया के शुरू से न अब तक हुई न कभी होगी।
For there will then be great distress, such as hath not been from the beginning of the world to this time; no, nor shall ever be.
22 अगर वो दिन घटाए न जाते तो कोई बशर न बचता मगर चुने हुवों की ख़ातिर वो दिन घटाए जाएँगे।
And were not those days to shortened, no flesh would be saved; but, for the sake of the chosen, these days will be shortened.
23 उस वक़्त अगर कोई तुम को कहे, देखो, मसीह ‘यहाँ है’ या ‘वह वहाँ है’ तो यक़ीन न करना।”
Then if any one say to you, Lo! here is the Christ; or there, believe him not.
24 “क्यूँकि झूठे मसीह और झूठे नबी उठ खड़े होंगे और ऐसे बड़े निशान और अजीब काम दिखाएँगे कि अगर मुम्किन हो तो बरगुज़ीदों को भी गुमराह कर लें।
For there will rise up false Christs, and false prophets, and will show great signs and wonders, so that, if possible, even the chosen will be deceived.
25 देखो, मैं ने पहले ही तुम को कह दिया है।
Lo! I have told you beforehand.
26 पस अगर वो तुम से कहें, देखो, वो वीरानों में है तो बाहर न जाना। या देखो, कोठरियों में है तो यक़ीन न करना।”
If therefore they say to you, Lo! he is in the wilderness; go not forth; lo! he is in the private chambers; believe them not.
27 “क्यूँकि जैसे बिजली पूरब से कौंध कर पच्छिम तक दिखाई देती है वैसे ही इबने आदम का आना होगा।
For as the lightning cometh from the east, and shineth even to the west, so will be the coming of the Son of man.
28 जहाँ मुर्दार है, वहाँ गिद्ध जमा हो जाएँगे।”
Wherever the carcass is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
29 “फ़ौरन इन दिनों की मुसीबत के बाद सूरज तारीक हो जाएगा। और चाँद अपनी रौशनी न देगा, और सितारे आसमान से गिरेंगे और आस्मान की क़ुव्वतें हिलाई जाएँगी।
And immediately after the distress of those days will the sun be darkened, and the moon will not give her light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
30 और उस वक़्त इब्न — ए — आदम का निशान आस्मान पर दिखाई देगा। और उस वक़्त ज़मीन की सब क़ौमें छाती पीटेंगी; और इबने आदम को बड़ी क़ुदरत और जलाल के साथ आसमान के बादलों पर आते देखेंगी।
And then will appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and will see the Son of man coming upon the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 और वो नरसिंगे की बड़ी आवाज़ के साथ अपने फ़रिश्तों को भेजेगा और वो उसके चुने हुवों को चारों तरफ़ से आसमान के इस किनारे से उस किनारे तक जमा करेंगे।”
And he will send forth his angels with a great trumpet, and they will gather his chosen from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
32 “अब अंजीर के दरख़्त से एक मिसाल सीखो, जैसे ही उसकी डाली नर्म होती और पत्ते निकलते हैं तुम जान लेते हो कि गर्मी नज़दीक है।
And from the fig-tree learn its parable. When its branch hath now become tender, and putteth forth its leaves, ye know that summer is near.
33 इसी तरह जब तुम इन सब बातों को देखो, तो जान लो कि वो नज़दीक बल्कि दरवाज़े पर है।
So also, when ye see all these things, know ye that he is near, at the doors.
34 मैं तुम से सच कहता हूँ कि जब तक ये सब बातें न हो लें ये नस्ल हरगिज़ तमाम न होगी।
Truly do I say to you, This generation will not pass away, till all these things take place.
35 आसमान और ज़मीन टल जाएँगी लेकिन मेरी बातें हरगिज़ न टलेंगी।”
Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.
36 “लेकिन उस दिन और उस वक़्त के बारे में कोई नहीं जानता, न आसमान के फ़रिश्ते न बेटा मगर, सिर्फ़ बाप।
But that day and hour knoweth no one, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.
37 जैसा नूह के दिनों में हुआ वैसा ही इबने आदम के आने के वक़्त होगा।
But as were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of man.
38 क्यूँकि जिस तरह तूफ़ान से पहले के दिनों में लोग खाते पीते और ब्याह शादी करते थे, उस दिन तक कि नूह नाव में दाख़िल हुआ।
For as in the days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark,
39 और जब तक तूफ़ान आकर उन सब को बहा न ले गया, उन को ख़बर न हुई, उसी तरह इबने आदम का आना होगा।
and knew not, until the flood came, and took them all away, so also will be the coming of the Son of man.
40 उस वक़्त दो आदमी खेत में होंगे, एक ले लिया जाएगा, और दूसरा छोड़ दिया जाएगा,
Then will two men be in the field; one will be taken, and one left.
41 दो औरतें चक्की पीसती होंगी, एक ले ली जाएगी और दूसरी छोड़ दी जाएगी।
Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken, and one left.
42 पस जागते रहो, क्यूँकि तुम नहीं जानते कि तुम्हारा ख़ुदावन्द किस दिन आएगा
Watch, therefore, for ye know not on what day your Lord is coming.
43 लेकिन ये जान रख्खो, कि अगर घर के मालिक को मा'लूम होता कि चोर रात के कौन से पहर आएगा, तो जागता रहता और अपने घर में नक़ब न लगाने देता।
But be sure of this, that if the master of the house had known in what watch the thief was coming, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken through.
44 इसलिए तुम भी तैयार रहो, क्यूँकि जिस घड़ी तुम को गुमान भी न होगा इबने आदम आ जाएगा।”
Therefore be ye also ready; for at an hour when ye think not, the Son of man cometh.
45 “पस वो ईमानदार और अक़्लमन्द नौकर कौन सा है, जिसे मालिक ने अपने नौकर चाकरों पर मुक़र्रर किया ताकि वक़्त पर उनको खाना दे।
Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his lord placed over his household, to give them their food in due season?
46 मुबारिक़ है वो नौकर जिसे उस का मालिक आकर ऐसा ही करते पाए।
Happy is that servant whom his lord, when he cometh, shall find so doing.
47 मैं तुम से सच कहता हूँ, कि वो उसे अपने सारे माल का मुख़्तार कर देगा।
Truly do I say to you, that he will place him in charge of all his substance.
48 लेकिन अगर वो ख़राब नौकर अपने दिल में ये कह कर कि मेरे मालिक के आने में देर है।
But if the bad servant say in his heart, My lord is tarrying long;
49 अपने हमख़िदमतों को मारना शुरू करे, और शराबियों के साथ खाए पिए।
and begin to beat his fellow-servants, and eat and drink with the drunken,
50 तो उस नौकर का मालिक ऐसे दिन कि वो उसकी राह न देखता हो और ऐसी घड़ी कि वो न जानता हो आ मौजूद होगा।
the lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for it, and at an hour when he is not aware;
51 और ख़ूब कोड़े लगा कर उसको रियाकारों में शामिल करेगा वहाँ रोना और दाँत पीसना होगा।”
and will cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites; there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
