लूका 21
1 ईसा ने नज़र उठा कर देखा, कि अमीर लोग अपने हदिए बैत — उल — मुक़द्दस के चन्दे के बक्से में डाल रहे हैं।
Looking up He saw the rich putting their gifts into the treasure chest.
2 एक ग़रीब बेवा भी वहाँ से गुज़री जिस ने उस में ताँबे के दो मामूली से सिक्के डाल दिए।
But He also saw a certain poor widow putting in two mites.
3 ईसा ने कहा, “मैं तुम को सच बताता हूँ कि इस ग़रीब बेवा ने तमाम लोगों की निस्बत ज़्यादा डाला है।
So He said: “I tell you truly that this poor widow put in more than all of them;
4 क्यूँकि इन सब ने तो अपनी दौलत की कसरत से कुछ डाला जबकि इस ने ज़रूरत मन्द होने के बावजूद भी अपने गुज़ारे के सारे पैसे दे दिए हैं।”
because all these others put in gifts for God out of their abundance, but she, out of her destitution, put in all she had to live on.”
5 उस वक़्त कुछ लोग हैकल की तारीफ़ में कहने लगे कि वह कितने ख़ूबसूरत पत्थरों और मिन्नत के तोह्फ़ों से सज़ा हुआ है। यह सुन कर ईसा ने कहा,
Then, as some were admiring the temple, how it was adorned with beautiful stones and donations, He said,
6 “जो कुछ तुम को यहाँ नज़र आता है उस का पत्थर पर पत्थर नहीं रहेगा। आने वाले दिनों में सब कुछ ढा दिया जाएगा।”
“These things that you see—the days will come in which not one stone will be left upon another that will not be thrown down.”
7 उन्हों ने पूछा, “उस्ताद, यह कब होगा? क्या क्या नज़र आएगा जिस से मालूम हो कि यह अब होने को है?”
So they asked Him, saying: “Teacher, so when will these things be?” and “What will be the sign when these things are about to happen?”
8 ईसा ने जवाब दिया, “ख़बरदार रहो कि कोई तुम्हें गुमराह न कर दे। क्यूँकि बहुत से लोग मेरा नाम ले कर आएँगे और कहेंगे, मैं ही मसीह हूँ’ और कि ‘वक़्त क़रीब आ चुका है।’ लेकिन उन के पीछे न लगना।
So He said: “Be careful, so as not to be deceived, because many will come in my name saying: ‘I am’ and ‘The time is at hand.’ Therefore do not go after them.
9 और जब जंगों और फ़ितनों की ख़बरें तुम तक पहुँचेगी तो मत घबराना। क्यूँकि ज़रूरी है कि यह सब कुछ पहले पेश आए। तो भी अभी आख़िरत न होगी।”
But whenever you hear of wars and insurrections, do not be terrified; because these things must happen first, but the end will not come right away.”
10 उस ने अपनी बात जारी रखी, “एक क़ौम दूसरी के ख़िलाफ़ उठ खड़ी होगी, और एक बादशाही दूसरी के ख़िलाफ़।
Then He said to them: “Nation will be raised up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
11 बहुत ज़ल्ज़ले आएँगे, जगह जगह काल पड़ेंगे और वबाई बीमारियाँ फैल जाएँगी। हैबतनाक वाक़िआत और आस्मान पर बड़े निशान देखने में आएँगे।
And there will be severe earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful events and great signs from heaven.
12 लेकिन इन तमाम वाक़िआत से पहले लोग तुम को पकड़ कर सताएँगे। वह तुम को यहूदी इबादतख़ानों के हवाले करेंगे, क़ैदख़ानों में डलवाएँगे और बादशाहों और हुक्मरानों के सामने पेश करेंगे। और यह इस लिए होगा कि तुम मेरे पैरोकार हो।
But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to synagogues and prisons, bringing you before kings and governors on account of my name.
13 नतीजे में तुम्हें मेरी गवाही देने का मौक़ा मिलेगा।
But it will turn out for you as an occasion for testimony.
14 लेकिन ठान लो, कि तुम पहले से अपनी फ़िक्र करने की तैयारी न करो,
So settle it in your hearts not to practice giving a defense beforehand;
15 क्यूँकि मैं तुम को ऐसे अल्फ़ाज़ और हिक्मत अता करूँगा, कि तुम्हारे तमाम मुख़ालिफ़ न उस का मुक़ाबिला और न उस का जवाब दे सकेंगे।
because I will give you a mouth and wisdom such that all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or withstand.
16 तुम्हारे वालिदैन, भाई, रिश्तेदार और दोस्त भी तुम को दुश्मन के हवाले कर देंगे, बल्कि तुम में से कुछ को क़त्ल किया जाएगा।
You will be betrayed even by parents and relatives, friends and ‘brothers’; and they will put some of you to death.
17 सब तुम से नफ़रत करेंगे, इस लिए कि तुम मेरे मानने वाले हो।
And you will be hated by all because of my name.
18 तो भी तुम्हारा एक बाल भी बांका नहीं होगा।
(Not even one hair of your head will be wasted
19 साबितक़दम रहने से ही तुम अपनी जान बचा लोगे।”
—you must secure your souls by your endurance.)
20 “जब तुम येरूशलेम को फ़ौजों से घिरा हुआ देखो तो जान लो, कि उस की तबाही क़रीब आ चुकी है।
“But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that her desolation is at hand.
21 उस वक़्त यहूदिया के रहनेवाले भाग कर पहाड़ी इलाक़े में पनाह लें। शहर के रहने वाले उस से निकल जाएँ और दिहात में आबाद लोग शहर में दाख़िल न हों।
Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains; let those who are in the city get out, and let those who are in the country not enter her.
22 क्यूँकि यह इलाही ग़ज़ब के दिन होंगे जिन में वह सब कुछ पूरा हो जाएगा जो कलाम — ए — मुक़द्दस में लिखा है।
Because these are days of vengeance, that all the written things may be fulfilled.
23 उन औरतों पर अफ़्सोस जो उन दिनों में हामिला हों या अपने बच्चों को दूध पिलाती हों, क्यूँकि मुल्क में बहुत मुसीबत होगी और इस क़ौम पर ख़ुदा का ग़ज़ब नाज़िल होगा।
But woe to those who are pregnant and to those nursing babies in those days! There will be great distress in the land, and wrath to this people.
24 लोग उन्हें तलवार से क़त्ल करेंगे और क़ैद करके तमाम ग़ैरयहूदी ममालिक में ले जाएँगे। ग़ैरयहूदी येरूशलेम को पाँव तले कुचल डालेंगे। यह सिलसिला उस वक़्त तक जारी रहेगा जब तक ग़ैरयहूदियों का दौर पूरा न हो जाए।“
Yes, they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
25 ”सूरज, चाँद और तारों में अजीब — ओ — ग़रीब निशान ज़ाहिर होंगे। क़ौमें समुन्दर के शोर और ठाठें मारने से हैरान — ओ — परेशान होंगी।
“There will be signs in sun, moon, and stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, at the roaring and tossing of the sea;
26 लोग इस अन्देशे से कि क्या क्या मुसीबत दुनिया पर आएगी इस क़दर ख़ौफ़ खाएँगे कि उन की जान में जान न रहेगी, क्यूँकि आस्मान की ताक़तें हिलाई जाएँगी।
men fainting from fear and expectation of the things coming on the inhabited earth—because the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
27 और फिर वह इब्न — ए — आदम को बड़ी क़ुदरत और जलाल के साथ बादल में आते हुए देखेंगे।
Then they will see the Son of the Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 चुनाँचे जब यह कुछ पेश आने लगे तो सीधे खड़े हो कर अपनी नज़र उठाओ, क्यूँकि तुम्हारी नजात नज़दीक होगी।”
Now when these things begin to happen, straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”
29 इस सिलसिले में ईसा ने उन्हें एक मिसाल सुनाई। “अंजीर के दरख़्त और बाक़ी दरख़्तों पर ग़ौर करो।
Then He told them a parable: “Look at the fig tree and all the trees.
30 जैसे ही कोंपलें निकलने लगती हैं तुम जान लेते हो कि गर्मियों का मौसम नज़दीक है।
Whenever they are already budding, you see and know by yourselves that summer is now near.
31 इसी तरह जब तुम यह वाक़िआत देखोगे तो जान लोगे कि ख़ुदा की बादशाही क़रीब ही है।
So you also, whenever you see these things happening, know that the Kingdom of God is near.
32 मैं तुम को सच बताता हूँ कि इस नस्ल के ख़त्म होने से पहले पहले यह सब कुछ वाक़े होगा।
I tell you assuredly, this generation will certainly not pass away until all has happened.
33 आस्मान — ओ — ज़मीन तो जाते रहेंगे, लेकिन मेरी बातें हमेशा तक क़ाईम रहेंगी।”
Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will by no means pass away.
34 “ख़बरदार रहो ताकि तुम्हारे दिल अय्याशी, नशाबाज़ी और रोज़ाना की फ़िक्रों तले दब न जाएँ। वर्ना यह दिन अचानक तुम पर आन पड़ेगा,
“But keep a watch on yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with dissipation, drunkenness, and cares of life, and that Day come upon you suddenly.
35 और फन्दे की तरह तुम्हें जकड़ लेगा। क्यूँकि वह दुनिया के तमाम रहनेवालों पर आएगा।
Because it will come like a trap upon all those who dwell on the surface of the whole earth.
36 हर वक़्त चौकस रहो और दुआ करते रहो कि तुम को आने वाली इन सब बातों से बच निकलने की तौफ़ीक़ मिल जाए और तुम इब्न — ए — आदम के सामने खड़े हो सको।”
So be watchful all the time, praying that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that are about to happen and to stand before the Son of the Man.”
37 हर रोज़ ईसा बैत — उल — मुक़द्दस में तालीम देता रहा और हर शाम वह निकल कर उस पहाड़ पर रात गुज़ारता था जिस का नाम ज़ैतून का पहाड़ है।
In the daytime He was teaching in the temple, but at night He went out and stayed on the mountain called ‘of Olives.’
38 और सुबह सवेरे सब लोग उस की बातें सुनने को हैकल में उस के पास आया करते थे।
Then early in the morning all the people would come to Him in the temple to hear Him.
