लूका 10
1 इन बातों के बाद ख़ुदावन्द ने सत्तर आदमी और मुक़र्रर किए, और जिस जिस शहर और जगह को ख़ुद जाने वाला था वहाँ उन्हें दो दो करके अपने आगे भेजा।
Now after these things the Lord appointed seventy others also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place where he himself was about to come.
2 और वो उनसे कहने लगा, “फ़सल तो बहुत है, लेकिन मज़दूर थोड़े हैं; इसलिए फ़सल के मालिक की मिन्नत करो कि अपनी फ़सल काटने के लिए मज़दूर भेजे।”
And he said to them, The harvest indeed [is] great, but the workmen few; supplicate therefore the Lord of the harvest that he may send out workmen into his harvest.
3 जाओ; देखो, मैं तुम को गोया बर्रों को भेड़ियों के बीच मैं भेजता हूँ।
Go: behold I send you forth as lambs in the midst of wolves.
4 न बटुवा ले जाओ न झोली, न जूतियाँ और न राह में किसी को सलाम करो।
Carry neither purse nor scrip nor sandals, and salute no one on the way.
5 और जिस घर में दाख़िल हो पहले कहो, 'इस घर की सलामती हो।
And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace to this house.
6 अगर वहाँ कोई सलामती का फ़र्ज़न्द होगा तो तुम्हारा सलाम उस पर ठहरेगा, नहीं तो तुम पर लौट आएगा।
And if a son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it; but if not it shall turn to you again.
7 उसी घर में रहो और जो कुछ उनसे मिले खाओ — पीओ, क्यूँकि मज़दूर अपनी मज़दूरी का हक़दार है, घर घर न फिरो।
And in the same house abide, eating and drinking such things as they have; for the workman is worthy of his hire. Remove not from house to house.
8 जिस शहर में दाख़िल हो वहाँ के लोग तुम्हें क़ुबूल करें, तो जो कुछ तुम्हारे सामने रखा जाए खाओ;
And into whatsoever city ye may enter and they receive you, eat what is set before you,
9 और वहाँ के बीमारों को अच्छा करो और उनसे कहो, 'ख़ुदा की बादशाही तुम्हारे नज़दीक आ पहुँची है।
and heal the sick in it, and say to them, The kingdom of God is come nigh to you.
10 लेकिन जिस शहर में तुम दाख़िल हो और वहाँ के लोग तुम्हें क़ुबूल न करें, तो उनके बाज़ारों में जाकर कहो कि,
But into whatsoever city ye may have entered and they do not receive you, go out into its streets and say,
11 'हम इस गर्द को भी जो तुम्हारे शहर से हमारे पैरों में लगी है तुम्हारे सामने झाड़ देते हैं, मगर ये जान लो कि ख़ुदा की बादशाही नज़दीक आ पहुँची है।
Even the dust of your city, which cleaves to us on the feet, do we shake off against you; but know this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh.
12 मैं तुम से कहता हूँ कि उस दिन सदूम का हाल उस शहर के हाल से ज़्यादा बर्दाश्त के लायक़ होगा।
I say to you that it shall be more tolerable for Sodom in that day than for that city.
13 “ऐ ख़ुराज़ीन शहर, तुझ पर अफ़सोस! ऐ बैतसैदा शहर, तुझ पर अफ़सोस! क्यूँकि जो मोजिज़े तुम में ज़ाहिर हुए अगर सूर और सैदा शहर में ज़ाहिर होते, तो वो टाट ओढ़कर और ख़ाक में बैठकर कब के तौबा कर लेते।”
Woe to thee, Chorazin! woe to thee, Bethsaida! for if the works of power which have taken place in you had taken place in Tyre and Sidon, they had long ago repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.
14 मगर 'अदालत में सूर और सैदा शहर का हाल तुम्हारे हाल से ज़्यादा बर्दाश्त के लायक़ होगा।
But it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the judgment than for you.
15 और तू ऐ कफ़रनहूम, क्या तू आसमान तक बुलन्द किया जाएगा? नहीं, बल्कि तू 'आलम — ए — अर्वाह में उतारा जाएगा। (Hadēs g86)
And thou, Capernaum, who hast been raised up to heaven, shalt be brought down even to hades. (Hadēs g86)
16 “जो तुम्हारी सुनता है वो मेरी सुनता है, और जो तुम्हें नहीं मानता वो मुझे नहीं मानता, और जो मुझे नहीं मानता वो मेरे भेजनेवाले को नहीं मानता।”
He that hears you hears me; and he that rejects you rejects me; and he that rejects me rejects him that sent me.
17 वो सत्तर ख़ुश होकर फिर आए और कहने लगे, “ऐ ख़ुदावन्द, तेरे नाम से बदरूहें भी हमारे ताबे' हैं।”
And the seventy returned with joy, saying, Lord, even the demons are subject to us through thy name.
18 उसने उनसे कहा, “मैं शैतान को बिजली की तरह आसमान से गिरा हुआ देख रहा था।
And he said to them, I beheld Satan as lightning falling out of heaven.
19 देखो, मैंने तुम को इख़्तियार दिया कि साँपों और बिच्छुओं को कुचलो और दुश्मन की सारी क़ुदरत पर ग़ालिब आओ, और तुम को हरगिज़ किसी चीज़ से नुक़्सान न पहुँचेगा।
Behold, I give you the power of treading upon serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall in anywise injure you.
20 तोभी इससे ख़ुश न हो कि रूहें तुम्हारे ताबे' हैं बल्कि इससे ख़ुश हो कि तुम्हारे नाम आसमान पर लिखे हुए है।”
Yet in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subjected to you, but rejoice that your names are written in the heavens.
21 उसी घड़ी वो रु — उल — क़ुद्दूस से ख़ुशी में भर गया और कहने लगा, “ऐ बाप! आसमान और ज़मीन के ख़ुदावन्द, में तेरी हम्द करता हूँ कि तूने ये बातें होशियारों और 'अक़्लमन्दों से छिपाई और बच्चों पर ज़ाहिर कीं हाँ, ऐ, बाप क्यूँकि ऐसा ही तुझे पसन्द आया।
In the same hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit and said, I praise thee, Father, Lord of the heaven and of the earth, that thou hast hid these things from wise and prudent, and hast revealed them to babes: yea, Father, for thus has it been well-pleasing in thy sight.
22 मेरे बाप की तरफ़ से सब कुछ मुझे सौंपा गया; और कोई नहीं जानता कि बेटा कौन है सिवा बाप के, और कोई नहीं जानता कि बाप कौन है सिवा बेटे के और उस शख़्स के जिस पर बेटा उसे ज़ाहिर करना चाहे।”
All things have been delivered to me by my Father, and no one knows who the Son is but the Father, and who the Father is but the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son is pleased to reveal [him].
23 और शागिर्दों की तरफ़ मूख़ातिब होकर ख़ास उन्हीं से कहा, “मुबारिक़ है वो आँखें जो ये बातें देखती हैं जिन्हें तुम देखते हो।
And having turned to the disciples privately he said, Blessed are the eyes which see the things that ye see.
24 क्यूँकि मैं तुम से कहता हूँ कि बहुत से नबियों और बादशाहों ने चाहा कि जो बातें तुम देखते हो देखें मगर न देखी, और जो बातें तुम सुनते हो सुनें मगर न सुनीं।”
For I say to you that many prophets and kings have desired to see the things which ye behold, and did not see [them]; and to hear the things which ye hear, and did not hear [them].
25 और देखो, एक शरा का आलिम उठा, और ये कहकर उसकी आज़माइश करने लगा, “ऐ उस्ताद, मैं क्या करूँ कि हमेशा की ज़िन्दगी का बारिस बनूँ?” (aiōnios g166)
And behold, a certain lawyer stood up tempting him, and saying, Teacher, having done what, shall I inherit life eternal? (aiōnios g166)
26 उसने उससे कहा, “तौरेत में क्या लिखा है? तू किस तरह पढ़ता है?”
And he said to him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?
27 उसने जवाब में कहा, “ख़ुदावन्द अपने ख़ुदा से अपने सारे दिल और अपनी सारी जान और अपनी सारी ताक़त और अपनी सारी 'अक़्ल से मुहब्बत रख और अपने पड़ोसी से अपने बराबर मुहब्बत रख।”
But he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thine understanding; and thy neighbour as thyself.
28 उसने उससे कहा, “तूने ठीक जवाब दिया, यही कर तो तू जिएगा।”
And he said to him, Thou hast answered right: this do and thou shalt live.
29 मगर उसने अपने आप को रास्तबाज़ ठहराने की ग़रज़ से ईसा से पूछा, “फिर मेरा पड़ोसी कौन है?”
But he, desirous of justifying himself, said to Jesus, And who is my neighbour?
30 ईसा ने जवाब में कहा, “एक आदमी येरूशलेम से यरीहू की तरफ़ जा रहा था कि डाकूओं में घिर गया। उन्होंने उसके कपड़े उतार लिए और मारा भी और अधमरा छोड़कर चले गए।
And Jesus replying said, A certain man descended from Jerusalem to Jericho and fell into [the hands of] robbers, who also, having stripped him and inflicted wounds, went away leaving him in a half-dead state.
31 इत्तफ़ाक़न एक काहिन उसी राह से जा रहा था, और उसे देखकर कतरा कर चला गया।
And a certain priest happened to go down that way, and seeing him, passed on on the opposite side;
32 इसी तरह एक लावी उस जगह आया, वो भी उसे देखकर कतरा कर चला गया।
and in like manner also a Levite, being at the spot, came and looked [at him] and passed on on the opposite side.
33 लेकिन एक सामरी सफ़र करते करते वहाँ आ निकला, और उसे देखकर उसने तरस खाया।
But a certain Samaritan journeying came to him, and seeing [him], was moved with compassion,
34 और उसके पास आकर उसके ज़ख़्मों को तेल और मय लगा कर बाँधा, और अपने जानवर पर सवार करके सराय में ले गया और उसकी देखरेख की।
and came up [to him] and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine; and having put him on his own beast, took him to [the] inn and took care of him.
35 दूसरे दिन दो दीनार निकालकर भटयारे को दिए और कहा, 'इसकी देख भाल करना और जो कुछ इससे ज़्यादा ख़र्च होगा मैं फिर आकर तुझे अदा कर दूँगा।
And on the morrow [as he left], taking out two denarii he gave them to the innkeeper, and said to him, Take care of him, and whatsoever thou shalt expend more, I will render to thee on my coming back.
36 इन तीनों में से उस शख़्स का जो डाकूओं में घिर गया था तेरी नज़र में कौन पड़ोसी ठहरा?”
Which [now] of these three seems to thee to have been neighbour of him who fell into [the hands of] the robbers?
37 उसने कहा, वो जिसने उस पर रहम किया ईसा ने उससे कहा, “जा तू भी ऐसा ही कर।”
And he said, He that shewed him mercy. And Jesus said to him, Go, and do thou likewise.
38 फिर जब जा रहे थे तो वो एक गाँव में दाख़िल हुआ और मर्था नाम 'औरत ने उसे अपने घर में उतारा।
And it came to pass as they went that he entered into a certain village; and a certain woman, Martha by name, received him into her house.
39 और मरियम नाम उसकी एक बहन थी, वो ईसा के पाँव के पास बैठकर उसका कलाम सुन रही थी।
And she had a sister called Mary, who also, having sat down at the feet of Jesus was listening to his word.
40 लेकिन मर्था ख़िदमत करते करते घबरा गई, पस उसके पास आकर कहने लगी, “ऐ ख़ुदावन्द, क्या तुझे ख़याल नहीं कि मेरी बहन ने ख़िदमत करने को मुझे अकेला छोड़ दिया है, पस उसे कह कि मेरी मदद करे।”
Now Martha was distracted with much serving, and coming up she said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Speak to her therefore that she may help me.
41 ख़ुदावन्द ने जवाब में उससे कहा, “मर्था, मर्था, तू बहुत सी चीज़ों की फ़िक्र — ओ — तरद्दु में है।
But Jesus answering said to her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things;
42 लेकिन एक चीज़ ज़रूर है और मरियम ने वो अच्छा हिस्सा चुन लिया है जो उससे छीना न जाएगा।”
but there is need of one, and Mary has chosen the good part, the which shall not be taken from her.
