यशो 18
1 और बनी इस्राईल की सारी जमा'अत ने शीलोह में जमा' होकर ख़ेमा — ए — इजितमा'अ को वहाँ खड़ा किया और वह मुल्क उनके आगे मग़लूब हो चुका था।
And the whole congregation of the sons of Israel assembled themselves together at Shiloh, and set up the tent of meeting there, and the land was subdued before them.
2 और बनी इस्राईल में सात क़बीले ऐसे रह गये थे जिनकी मीरास उनको तक़सीम होने न पाई थी।
And seven tribes remained among the sons of Israel, which had not yet divided their inheritance.
3 और यशू'अ ने बनी इस्राईल से कहा, कि तुम कब तक उस मुल्क पर क़ब्ज़ा करने से जो ख़ुदावन्द तुम्हारे बाप दादा के ख़ुदा ने तुम को दिया है सुस्ती करोगे?
And Joshua said to the sons of Israel, How long are ye slack to go in to possess the land, which Jehovah, the God of your fathers, has given you?
4 इसलिए तुम अपने लिए हर क़बीले में से तीन शख़्स चुन लो, मैं उनको भेजूँगा और वह जाकर उस मुल्क में सैर करेंगे और अपनी अपनी मीरास के मुवाफ़िक़ उसका हाल लिख कर मेरे पास आएँगें।
Appoint for you three men of each tribe. And I will send them, and they shall arise, and walk through the land, and describe it according to their inheritance, and they shall come to me.
5 वह उसके सात हिस्से करेंगे, यहूदाह अपनी सरहद में दख्खिन की तरफ़ और यूसुफ़ का ख़ानदान अपनी सरहद में उत्तर की तरफ़ रहेगा।
And they shall divide it into seven portions: Judah shall abide in his border on the south, and the house of Joseph shall abide in their border on the north.
6 इसलिए तुम उस मुल्क के सात हिस्से लिख कर मेरे पास यहाँ लाओ ताकि मैं ख़ुदावन्द के आगे जो हमारा ख़ुदा है तुम्हारे लिए पर्ची डालूँ।
And ye shall describe the land into seven portions, and bring it here to me. And I will cast lots for you here before Jehovah our God.
7 क्यूँकि तुम्हारे बीच लावियों का कोई हिस्सा नहीं इसलिए कि ख़ुदावन्द की कहानत उनकी मीरास है और जद्द और रूबिन और मनस्सी के आधे क़बीले को यरदन के उस पार पूरब की तरफ़ मीरास मिल चुकी है जिसे ख़ुदावन्द के बन्दे मूसा ने उनको दिया।
For the Levites have no portion among you, for the priesthood of Jehovah is their inheritance, and Gad and Reuben and the half-tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan eastward, which Moses the servant of Jehovah gave them.
8 तब वह आदमी उठ कर रवाना हुए और यशू'अ ने उनको जो उस मुल्क का हाल लिखने के लिए गये ताकीद की कि तुम जाकर उस मुल्क में सैर करो और उसका हाल लिख कर फिर मेरे पास आओ और मैं शीलोह में ख़ुदावन्द के आगे तुम्हारे लिए पर्ची डालूँगा।
And the men arose, and went. And Joshua charged those who went to describe the land, saying, Go and walk through the land, and describe it, and come again to me. And I will cast lots for you here before Jehovah in Shiloh.
9 चुनाँचे उन्होंने जाकर उस मुल्क में सैर की और शहरों के सात हिस्से कर के उनका हाल किताब में लिखा और शीलोह की ख़ेमागाह में यशू'अ के पास लौटे।
And the men went and passed through the land, and described it by cities into seven portions in a book. And they came to Joshua to the camp at Shiloh.
10 तब यशू'अ ने शीलोह में उनके लिए ख़ुदावन्द के सामने पर्ची डाली और वहीं यशू'अ ने उस मुल्क को बनी इस्राईल की हिस्सों के मुताबिक़ उनको बाँट दिया।
And Joshua cast lots for them in Shiloh before Jehovah. And there Joshua divided the land to the sons of Israel according to their divisions.
11 और बनी बिन यमीन के क़बीले की पर्ची उनके घरानों के मुताबिक़ निकली और उनके हिस्से की हद बनी यहूदाह और बनी यूसुफ़ के बीच पड़ी।
And the lot of the tribe of the sons of Benjamin came up according to their families, and the border of their lot went out between the sons of Judah and the sons of Joseph.
12 इसलिए उनकी उत्तरी हद यरदन से शुरू'' हुई और यह हद यरीहू के पास से उत्तर की तरफ़ गुज़र कर पहाड़ी मुल्क से होती हुई पश्चिम की तरफ़ बैत आवन के वीराने तक पहुँची।
And their border on the north quarter was from the Jordan, and the border went up to the side of Jericho on the north, and went up through the hill-country westward. And the goings out of it were at the wilderness of Beth-aven.
13 और वह हद वहाँ से लूज़ को जो बैत — एल है गयी और लूज़ के दख्खिन से उस पहाड़ के बराबर होती हुई जो नीचे के बैत हौरून के दख्खिन में है 'अतारात अदार को जा निकली।
And the border passed along from there to Luz, to the side of Luz (the same is Bethel), southward, and the border went down to Ataroth-addar, by the mountain that lies on the south of Beth-horon the nether.
14 और वह पश्चिम की तरफ़ से मुड़ कर दख्खिन को झुकी और बैत हौरून के सामने के पहाड़ से होती हुई दख्खिन की तरफ़ बनी यहूदाह के एक शहर क़रयत बा'ल तक जो क़रयत या'रीम है चली गयी, यह पश्चिमी हिस्सा था।
And the border extended, and turned around on the west quarter southward, from the mountain that lies before Beth-horon southward. And the goings out of it were at Kiriath-baal (the same is Kiriath-jearim), a city of the sons of Judah. This was the west quarter.
15 और दख्खिनी हद क़रयत या'रीम की इन्तिहा से शुरू''हुई और वह हद पश्चिम की तरफ़ आब — ए — नफ़तूह के चश्मे तक चली गयी;
And the south quarter was from the uttermost part of Kiriath-jearim, and the border went out westward, and went out to the fountain of the waters of Nephtoah,
16 और वहाँ से वह हद उस पहाड़ के सिरे तक जो हिन्नूम के बेटे की वादी के सामने है गयी, यह रिफ़ाईम की वादी के उत्तर में है और वहाँ से दख्खिन की तरफ़ हिन्नूम की वादी और यबूसियों के बराबर से गुज़रती हुई 'ऐन राजिल पहुँची;
and the border went down to the uttermost part of the mountain that lies before the valley of the son of Hinnom, which is in the vale of Rephaim northward, and it went down to the valley of Hinnom, to the side of the Jebusite southward, and went down to En-rogel,
17 वहाँ से वह उत्तर की तरफ़ मुड़ कर और 'ऐन शम्स से गुज़रती हुई जलीलोत को गयी जो अदुम्मीम की चढ़ाई के मुक़ाबिल है और वहाँ से रूबिन के बेटे बोहन के पत्थर तक पहुँची;
and it extended northward, and went out at En-shemesh, and went out to Geliloth, which is opposite the ascent of Adummim, and it went down to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben,
18 और फिर उत्तर को जाकर मैदान के मुक़ाबिल के रुख़ से निकलती हुयी मैदान ही में जा उतरी।
and it passed along to the side opposite the Arabah northward, and went down to the Arabah,
19 फिर वह हद वहाँ से बैत हुजला के उत्तरी पहलू तक पहुँची और उस हद का ख़ातिमा दरिया — ए — शोर की उत्तरी खाड़ी पर हुआ जो यरदन के दख्खिनी सिरे पर है, यह दख्खिन की हद थी।
and the border passed along to the side of Beth-hoglah northward. And the goings out of the border were at the north bay of the Salt Sea, at the south end of the Jordan. This was the south border.
20 और उसकी पूरबी सिम्त की हद यरदन ठहरा, बनी बिनयमीन की मीरास उनकी चौगिर्द की हदों के 'ऐतबार से और उनके घरानों के मुवाफ़िक़ यह थी।
And the Jordan was the border of it on the east quarter. This was the inheritance of the sons of Benjamin, by the borders of it round about, according to their families.
21 और बनी बिन यमीन के क़बीले के शहर उनके घरानों के मुवाफ़िक़ यह थे, यरीहू और बैत हुजला और 'ईमक़ क़सीस।
Now the cities of the tribe of the sons of Benjamin according to their families were: Jericho, and Beth-hoglah, and Emek-keziz,
22 और बैत 'अराबा और समरीम और बैतएल।
and Beth-arabah, and Zemaraim, and Bethel,
23 और 'अव्वीम और फ़ारा और 'उफ़रा।
and Avvim, and Parah, and Ophrah,
24 और कफ़रउल'उम्मूनी और 'उफ़नी और जबा', यह बारह शहर थे और इनके गाँव भी थे।
and Chephar-ammoni, and Ophni, and Geba; twelve cities with their villages.
25 और जिबा'ऊन और रामा और बैरोत।
Gibeon, and Ramah, and Beeroth,
26 मिस्फ़ाह और कफ़ीरह और मोज़ा
and Mizpeh, and Chephirah, and Mozah,
27 और रक़म और अरफ़ील और तराला।
and Rekem, and Irpeel, and Taralah,
28 और ज़िला', अलिफ़ और यबूसियों का शहर जो येरूशलेम है और जिब'अत और क़रयत, यह चौदह शहर हैं और इनके गाँव भी हैं, बनी बिनयमीन की मीरास उनके घरानों के मुताबिक़ यह है।
and Zelah, Eleph, and the Jebusite (the same is Jerusalem), Gibeath, and Kiriath; fourteen cities with their villages. This is the inheritance of the sons of Benjamin according to their families.
