यशो 15

1 और बनी यहूदाह के क़बीले का हिस्सा उनके घरानों के मुताबिक़ पर्ची डालकर अदोम की सरहद तक, और दख्खिन में दश्त — ए — सीन तक जो जुनुब के इन्तिहाई हिस्से में आबाद है ठहरा।

And the lot for the tribe of the sons of Judah, for their families, is unto the border of Edom; the wilderness of Zin southward, at the extremity of the south;

2 और उनकी दख्खिनी हद दरिया — ए — शोर के इन्तिहाई हिस्से की उस खाड़ी से जिसका रुख दख्खिन की तरफ़ है शुरू'' हुई;

and to them the south border is at the extremity of the salt sea, from the bay which is looking southward;

3 और वह 'अक़रब्बीम की चढ़ाई की दख्खिनी सिम्त से निकल सीन होती हुई क़ादिस बरनी' के दख्खिन को गयी, फिर हसरून के पास से अदार को जाकर क़रक़ा' को मुड़ी,

and it hath gone out unto the south to Maaleh-Akrabbim, and passed over to Zin, and gone up on the south to Kadesh-Barnea, and passed over [to] Hezron, and gone up to Adar, and turned round to Karkaa,

4 और वहाँ से 'अज़मून होती हुई मिस्र के नाले को जा निकली, और उस हद का ख़ातिमा समन्दर पर हुआ; यही तुम्हारी दख्खिनी सरहद होगी।

and passed over [to] Azmon, and gone out [at] the brook of Egypt, and the outgoings of the border have been at the sea; this is to you the south border.

5 और पूरबी सरहद यरदन के दहाने तक दरिया — ए — शोर ही ठहरा, और उसकी उत्तरी हद उस दरिया की उस खाड़ी से जो यरदन के दहाने पर है शुरू'' हुई,

And the east border [is] the salt sea, unto the extremity of the Jordan, and the border at the north quarter [is] from the bay of the sea, at the extremity of the Jordan;

6 और यह हद बैत हजला को जाकर और बैत उल 'अराबा के उत्तर से गुज़र कर रूबिन के बेटे बोहन के पत्थर को पहुँची;

and the border hath gone up [to] Beth-Hoglah, and passed over on the north of Beth-Arabah, and the border hath gone up [to] the stone of Bohan son of Reuben:

7 फिर वहाँ से वह हद 'अकूर की वादी होती हुई दबीर को गई और वहाँ से उत्तर की सिम्त चल कर जिलजाल के सामने जो अदुम्मीम की चढ़ाई के मुक़ाबिल है जा निकली, यह चढ़ाई नदी के दख्खिन में है; फिर वह हद 'ऐन शम्स के चश्मों के पास होकर 'ऐन राजिल पहुँची।

and the border hath gone up towards Debir from the valley of Achor, and northward looking unto Gilgal, which [is] over-against the ascent of Adummim, which [is] on the south of the brook, and the border hath passed over unto the waters of En-Shemesh, and its outgoings have been unto En-Rogel;

8 फिर वही हद हिन्नूम के बेटे की वादी में से होकर यबूसियों की बस्ती के दख्खिन को गयी, येरूशलेम वही है; और वहाँ से उस पहाड़ की चोटी को जा निकली, जो वादी — ए — हिन्नूम के मुक़ाबिल पश्चिम की तरफ़ और रिफ़ाईम की वादी के उत्तरी इन्तिहाई हिस्से में आबाद' है;

and the border hath gone up the valley of the son of Hinnom, unto the side of the Jebusite on the south (it [is] Jerusalem), and the border hath gone up unto the top of the hill-country which [is] on the front of the valley of Hinnom westward, which [is] in the extremity of the valley of the Rephaim northward;

9 फिर वही हद पहाड़ की चोटी से आब — ए — नफ़्तूह के चश्में को गयी, और वहाँ से कोह — ए — 'अफ़रोन के शहरों के पास जा निकली, और उधर से बा'ला तक जो क़रयत या'रीम है पहुँची;

and the border hath been marked out, from the top of the hill-country unto the fountain of the waters of Nephtoah, and hath gone out unto the cities of mount Ephron, and the border hath been marked out [to] Baalah, (it [is] Kirjath-Jearim);

10 और बा'ला से होकर पश्चिम की सिम्त कोह — ए — श'ईर को फिरी, और कोह — ए — या'रीम के जो कसलून भी कहलाता है, उत्तरी दामन के पास से गुज़र कर बैत शम्स की तरफ़ उतरती हुई तिमना को गयी;

and the border hath gone round from Baalah westward, unto mount Seir, and passed over unto the side of mount Jearim (it [is] Chesalon), on the north, and gone down [to] Beth-Shemesh, and passed over to Timnah;

11 और वहाँ से वह हद 'अक़रून के उत्तर को जा निकली; फिर वह सिक्रून से हो कर कोह — ए — बा'ला के पास से गुज़रती हुई यबनीएल पर जा निकली; और इस हद का ख़ातिमा समन्दर पर हुआ

and the border hath gone out unto the side of Ekron northward, and the border hath been marked out [to] Shicron, and hath passed over to mount Baalah, and gone out [to] Jabneel; and the outgoings of the border have been at the sea.

12 और पश्चिमी सरहद बड़ा समन्दर और उसका साहिल था। बनी यहूदाह की चारों तरफ़ की हद उनके घरानों के मुताबिक़ यही है।

And the west border [is] to the great sea, and [its] border; this [is] the border of the sons of Judah round about for their families.

13 और यशू'अ ने उस हुक्म के मुताबिक़ जो ख़ुदावन्द ने उसे दिया था, युफ़न्ना के बेटे कालिब को बनी यहूदाह के बीच 'अनाक़ के बाप अरबा' का शहर क़रयत अरबा'जो हबरून है हिस्सा दिया।

And to Caleb son of Jephunneh hath he given a portion in the midst of the sons of Judah, according to the command of Jehovah to Joshua, [even] the city of Arba, father of Anak — it [is] Hebron.

14 इसलिए कालिब ने वहाँ से 'अनाक़ के तीनों बेटों, या'नी सीसी और अख़ीमान और तलमी को जो बनी 'अनाक़ हैं निकाल दिया।

And Caleb is dispossessing thence the three sons of Anak, Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai, children of Anak,

15 और वह वहाँ से दबीर के बाशिंदों पर चढ़ गया। दबीर का क़दीमी नाम क़रयत सिफ़र था।

and he goeth up thence unto the inhabitants of Debir; and the name of Debir formerly is Kirjath-Sepher.

16 और कालिब ने कहा, “जो कोई क़रयत सिफ़र को मार कर उसको सर करले, उसे मैं अपनी बेटी 'अकसा ब्याह दूँगा”।

And Caleb saith, 'He who smiteth Kirjath-Sephar, and hath captured it — I have given to him Achsah my daughter for a wife.'

17 तब कालिब के भाई क़नज़ के बेटे ग़तनीएल ने उसको सर कर लिया, इसलिए उसने अपनी बेटी 'अकसा उसे ब्याह दी।

And Othniel son of Kenaz, brother of Caleb, doth capture it, and he giveth to him Achsah his daughter for a wife.

18 जब वह उसके पास आई, तो उसने उस आदमी को उभारा कि वह उसके बाप से एक खेत माँगे; इसलिए वह अपने गधे पर से उतर पड़ी, तब कालिब ने उससे कहा, “तू क्या चाहती है?”

And it cometh to pass, in her coming in, that she persuadeth him to ask from her father a field, and she lighteth from off the ass, and Caleb saith to her, 'What — to thee?'

19 उस ने कहा, “मुझे बरकत दे; क्यूँकि तूने दख्खिन के मुल्क में कुछ ज़मीन मुझे 'इनायत की है, इसलिए मुझे पानी के चश्में भी दे।” तब उसने उसे ऊपर के चश्में और नीचे के चश्में 'इनायत किये।

And she saith, 'Give to me a blessing; when the land of the south thou hast given me, then thou hast given to me springs of waters;' and he giveth to her the upper springs and the lower springs.

20 बनी यहूदाह के क़बीले की मीरास उनके घरानों के मुताबिक़ यह है।

This [is] the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Judah, for their families.

21 और अदोम की सरहद की तरफ़ दख्खिन में बनी यहूदाह के इन्तिहाई शहर यह हैं: क़बज़ीएल और 'एदर और यजूर,

And the cities at the extremity of the tribe of the sons of Judah are unto the border of Edom in the south, Kabzeel, and Eder, and Jagur,

22 और कै़ना और दैमूना और 'अद 'अदा,

and Kinah, and Dimonah, and Adadah,

23 और क़ादिस और हसूर और इतनान,

and Kedesh, and Hazor, and Ithnan,

24 ज़ीफ़ और तलम और बा'लूत,

Ziph, and Telem, and Bealoth,

25 और हसूर और हदता और क़रयत और हसरून जो हसूर हैं,

and Hazor, Hadattah, and Kerioth, Hezron, (it [is] Hazor, )

26 और अमाम और समा' और मोलादा,

Amam, and Shema, and Moladah,

27 और हसार जद्दा और हिशमोन और बैत फ़लत,

and Hazar-Gaddah, and Heshmon, and Beth-Palet,

28 और हसर सु'आल और बैरसबा'और बिज़योत्याह,

and Hazar-Shual, and Beer-Sheba, and Bizjothjah,

29 बा'ला और 'इय्यीम और 'अज़म,

Baalah, and Iim, and Azem,

30 और इलतोलद और कसील और हुरमा,

And Eltolad, and Chesil, and Hormah,

31 और सिक़लाज और मदमन्ना और सनसन्ना,

and Ziklag, and Madmannah, and Sansannah,

32 और लबाऊत और सिलहीम और 'ऐन और रिम्मोन; यह सब उन्तीस शहर हैं, और इनके गाँव भी हैं।

and Lebaoth, and Shilhim, and Ain, and Rimmon; all the cities [are] twenty and nine, and their villages.

33 और नशेब की ज़मीन में इस्ताल और सुर'आह और असनाह,

In the low country: Eshtaol, and Zoreah, and Ashnah,

34 और ज़नोआह और 'ऐन जन्नीम, तफ़ूह और 'एनाम,

and Zanoah, and En-Gannim, Tappuah, and Enam,

35 यरमूत और 'अदूल्लाम, शोको और 'अज़ीक़ा,

Jarmuth, and Adullam, Socoh, and Azekah,

36 और शा'रीम और अदीतीम और जदीरा और जदीरतीम; और यह चौदह शहर हैं और इनके गाँव भी हैं।

and Sharaim, and Adithaim, and Gederah, and Gederothaim; fourteen cities and their villages.

37 ज़िनान और हदाशा और मिजदल जद,

Zenan, and Hadashah, and Migdal-Gad,

38 और दिल'आन और मिस्फ़ाह और यक़्तीएल,

and Dilean, and Mizpeh, and Joktheel,

39 लकीस और बुसक़त और 'इजलून,

Lachish, and Bozkath, and Eglon,

40 और कब्बून और लहमान और कितलीस,

and Cabbon, and Lahmam, and Kithlish,

41 और जदीरोत और बैत दजून और ना'मा और मुक़्क़ैदा; यह सोलह शहर हैं, और इनके गाँव भी हैं।

and Gederoth, Beth-Dagon, and Naamah, and Makkedah; sixteen cities and their villages.

42 लिबना और 'अत्र और 'असन,

Libnah, and Ether, and Ashan,

43 और यफ़्ताह और असना और नसीब;

and Jiphtah, and Ashnah, and Nezib,

44 और क़'ईला और अकज़ीब और मरेसा; यह नौ शहर हैं और इनके गाँव भी हैं।

and Keilah, and Achzib, and Mareshah; nine cities and their villages.

45 अक़रून और उसके क़स्बे और गाँव।

Ekron and its towns and its villages,

46 अक़रून से समन्दर तक अशदूद के पास के सब शहर और उनके गाँव।

from Ekron and westward, all that [are] by the side of Ashdod, and their villages.

47 अशदूद अपने शहरों और गांवों के साथ, और गज़्ज़ा अपने शहरों और गाँव के साथ; मिस्र की नदी और बड़े समन्दर और साहिल तक।

Ashdod, its towns and its villages, Gaza, its towns and its villages, unto the brook of Egypt, and the great sea, and [its] border.

48 और पहाड़ी मुल्क में समीर और यतीर और शोको,

And in the hill-country: Shamir, and Jattir, and Socoh,

49 और दन्ना और क़रयत सन्ना जो दबीर है,

and Dannah, and Kirjath-Sannah (it [is] Debir)

50 और 'अनाब और इस्मतोह और 'इनीम,

and Anab, and Eshtemoh, and Anim,

51 और जशन और हौलून और जिलोह; यह ग्यारह शहर हैं और इनके गाँव भी हैं।

and Goshen, and Holon, and Giloh; eleven cities and their villages.

52 अराब और दोमाह और इश'आन,

Arab, and Dumah, and Eshean,

53 और यनीम और बैत तफ़्फ़ूह और अफ़ीका,

and Janum, and Beth-Tappuah, and Aphekah,

54 और हुमता और क़रयत अरबा' जो हबरून है और सी'ऊर; यह नौ शहर हैं और इनके गाँव भी हैं।

and Humtah, and Kirjath-Arba (it [is] Hebron), and Zior; nine cities and their villages.

55 म'ऊन, कर्मिल और ज़ीफ़ और यूत्ता,

Maon, Carmel, and Ziph, and Juttah,

56 और यज़रएल और याक़दि'आम और ज़नोआह,

and Jezreel, and Jokdeam, and Zanoah,

57 कै़न, जिब'आ और तिमना; यह दस शहर हैं और इनके गाँव भी हैं।

Cain, Gibeah, and Timnah; ten cities and their villages.

58 हालहूल और बैत सूर और जदूर,

Halhul, Beth-Zur, and Gedor,

59 और मा' रात और बैत 'अनोत और इलतिक़ून; यह छह शहर हैं और इनके गाँव भी हैं।

and Maarath, and Beth-Anoth, and Eltekon; six cities and their villages.

60 क़रयत बा'ल जो क़रयत या'रीम है, और रब्बा; यह दो शहर हैं और इनके गाँव भी हैं।

Kirjath-Baal (it [is] Kirjath-Jearim), and Rabbah; two cities and their villages.

61 और वीराने में बैत 'अराबा और मद्दीन और सकाका,

In the wilderness: Beth-Arabah, Middin, and Secacah,

62 और नबसान और नमक का शहर और 'ऐन जदी; यह छः शहर हैं और इनके गाँव भी हैं।

and Nibshan, and the city of Salt, and En-Gedi; six cities and their villages.

63 और यबूसियों को जो येरूशलेम के बाशिन्दे थे, बनी यहूदाह निकाल न सके; इसलिए यबूसी बनी यहूदाह के साथ आज के दिन तक येरूशलेम में बसे हुए हैं।

As to the Jebusites, inhabitants of Jerusalem, the sons of Judah have not been able to dispossess them, and the Jebusite dwelleth with the sons of Judah in Jerusalem unto this day.
