अय्यू 27
1 और अय्यूब ने फिर अपनी मिसाल शुरू' की और कहने लगा,
And Job again took up his parable, and said:
2 “ज़िन्दा ख़ुदा की क़सम, जिसने मेरा हक़ छीन लिया; और क़ादिर — ए — मुतलक़ की क़सम, जिसने मेरी जान को दुख दिया है।
As God liveth, who hath taken away my right; and the Almighty, who hath dealt bitterly with me;
3 क्यूँकि मेरी जान मुझ में अब तक सालिम है और ख़ुदा का रूह मेरे नथनों में है।
All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils,
4 यक़ीनन मेरे लब नारास्ती की बातें न कहेंगे, न मेरी ज़बान से फ़रेब की बात निकलेगी।
Surely my lips shall not speak unrighteousness, neither shall my tongue utter deceit;
5 ख़ुदा न करे कि मैं तुम्हें रास्त ठहराऊँ, मैं मरते दम तक अपनी रास्ती को छोड़ूँगा।
Far be it from me that I should justify you; till I die I will not put away mine integrity from me.
6 मैं अपनी सदाक़त पर क़ाईम हूँ और उसे न छोड़ूँगा, जब तक मेरी ज़िन्दगी है, मेरा दिल मुझे मुजरिम न ठहराएगा।
My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go; my heart shall not reproach me so long as I live.
7 “मेरा दुश्मन शरीरों की तरह हो, और मेरे ख़िलाफ़ उठने वाला नारास्तों की तरह।
Let mine enemy be as the wicked, and let him that riseth up against me be as the unrighteous.
8 क्यूँकि गो बे दीन दौलत हासिल कर ले तोभी उसकी क्या उम्मीद है? जब ख़ुदा उसकी जान ले ले,
For what is the hope of the godless, though he get him gain, when God taketh away his soul?
9 क्या ख़ुदा उसकी फ़रियाद सुनेगा, जब मुसीबत उस पर आए?
Will God hear his cry, when trouble cometh upon him?
10 क्या वह क़ादिर — ए — मुतलक में ख़ुश रहेगा, और हर वक़्त ख़ुदा से दुआ करेगा?
Will he have his delight in the Almighty, and call upon God at all times?
11 मैं तुम्हें ख़ुदा के बर्ताव “की तालीम दूँगा, और क़ादिर — ए — मुतलक़ की बात न छिपाऊँगा।
I will teach you concerning the hand of God; that which is with the Almighty will I not conceal.
12 देखो, तुम सभों ने ख़ुद यह देख चुके हो, फिर तुम ख़ुद बीन कैसे हो गए।”
Behold, all ye yourselves have seen it; why then are ye become altogether vain?
13 “ख़ुदा की तरफ़ से शरीर आदमी का हिस्सा, और ज़ालिमों की मीरास जो वह क़ादिर — ए — मुतलक़ की तरफ़ से पाते हैं, यही है।
This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of oppressors, which they receive from the Almighty.
14 अगर उसके बच्चे बहुत हो जाएँ तो वह तलवार के लिए हैं, और उसकी औलाद रोटी से सेर न होगी।
If his children be multiplied, it is for the sword; and his offspring shall not have bread enough.
15 उसके बाक़ी लोग मर कर दफ़्न होंगे, और उसकी बेवाएँ नौहा न करेंगी।
Those that remain of him shall be buried by pestilence, and his widows shall make no lamentation.
16 चाहे वह ख़ाक की तरह चाँदी जमा' कर ले, और कसरत से लिबास तैयार कर रख्खें
Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare raiment as the clay;
17 वह तैयार कर ले, लेकिन जो रास्त हैं वह उनको पहनेंगे और जो बेगुनाह हैं वह उस चाँदी को बाँट लेंगे।
He may prepare it, but the just shall put it on, and the innocent shall divide the silver.
18 उसने मकड़ी की तरह अपना घर बनाया, और उस झोंपड़ी की तरह जिसे रखवाला बनाता है।
He buildeth his house as a moth, and as a booth which the keeper maketh.
19 वह लेटता है दौलतमन्द, लेकिन वह दफ़न न किया जाएगा। वह अपनी आँख खोलता है और वह है ही नहीं।
He lieth down rich, but there shall be not to gather; he openeth his eyes, and his wealth is not.
20 दहशत उसे पानी की तरह आ लेती है; रात को तूफ़ान उसे उड़ा ले जाता है।
Terrors overtake him like waters; a tempest stealeth him away in the night.
21 पूरबी हवा उसे उड़ा ले जाती है, और वह जाता रहता है। वह उसे उसकी जगह से उखाड़ फेंकती है।
The east wind carrieth him away, and he departeth; and it sweepeth him out of his place.
22 क्यूँकि ख़ुदा उस पर बरसाएगा और छोड़ने का नहीं वह उसके हाथ से निकल भागना चाहेगा।
Yea, it hurleth at him, and spareth not; he would fain flee from its power.
23 लोग उस पर तालियाँ बजाएँगे, और सुस्कार कर उसे उसकी जगह से निकाल देंगे।
Men shall clap their hands at him, and shall hiss him out of his place.
