यसा 57
1 सादिक़ हलाक होता है, और कोई इस बात को ख़ातिर में नहीं लाता; और नेक लोग उठा लिए जाते हैं और कोई नहीं सोचता कि सादिक़ उठा लिया गया ताकि आनेवाली आफ़त से बचे;
The righteous perisheth, and no man considereth it in heart: and mercifull men are taken away, and no man vnderstandeth that the righteous is taken away from the euill to come.
2 वह सलामती में दाख़िल होता है। हर एक रास्त रू अपने बिस्तर पर आराम पाएगा।
Peace shall come: they shall rest in their beds, euery one that walketh before him.
3 लेकिन तुम, ऐ जादूगरनी के बेटो, ऐ ज़ानी और फ़ाहिशा के बच्चों, इधर आगे आओ।
But you witches children, come hither, the seede of the adulterer and of the whore.
4 तुम किस पर ठट्ठा मारते हो? तुम किस पर मुँह फाड़ते और ज़बान निकालते हो? क्या तुम बाग़ी औलाद और दग़ाबाज़ नस्ल नहीं हो,
On whome haue ye iested? vpon whome haue ye gaped and thrust out your tongue? are not ye rebellious children, and a false seede?
5 जो बुतों के साथ हर एक हरे बलूत के नीचे अपने आपको बरअंगेख़्ता करते और वादियों में चट्टानों के शिगाफ़ों के नीचे बच्चों को ज़बह करते हो?
Inflamed with idoles vnder euery greene tree? and sacrificing the children in the valleys vnder the tops of the rocks?
6 वादी के चिकने पत्थर तेरा हिस्सा हैं, वही तेरा हिस्सा हैं; हाँ, तूने उनके लिए तपावन दिया और हदिया पेश किया है; क्या मुझे इन कामों से तिस्कीन होगी?
Thy portion is in the smooth stones of the riuer: they, they are thy lot: euen to them hast thou powred a drinke offering: thou hast offered a sacrifice. Should I delite in these?
7 एक ऊँचे और बलन्द पहाड़ पर तूने अपना बिस्तर बिछाया है, और उसी पर ज़बीहा ज़बह करने को चढ़ गई।
Thou hast made thy bed vpon a very hie mountaine: thou wentest vp thither, euen thither wentest thou to offer sacrifice.
8 और तूने दरवाज़ों और चौखटों के पीछे अपनी यादगार की 'अलामतें नस्ब कीं, और तू मेरे सिवा दूसरे के आगे बेपर्दा हुई; हाँ, तू चढ़ गई और तूने अपना बिछौना भी बड़ा बनाया और उनके साथ 'अहद कर लिया है; तूने उनके बिस्तर को जहाँ देखा पसन्द किया।
Behinde the doores also and postes hast thou set vp thy remembrance: for thou hast discouered thy selfe to another then me, and wentest vp, and diddest enlarge thy bed, and make a couenant betweene thee and them, and louedst their bed in euery place where thou sawest it.
9 तू ख़ुशबू लगाकर बादशाह के सामने चली गई और अपने आपको ख़ूब मु'अत्तर किया, और अपने क़ासिद दूर दूर भेजे बल्कि तूने अपने आपको पाताल तक पस्त किया। (Sheol h7585)
Thou wentest to the Kings with oyle, and diddest increase thine oyntments and sende thy messengers farre off, and diddest humble thy selfe vnto hell. (Sheol h7585)
10 तू अपने सफ़र की दराज़ी से थक गई, तोभी तूने न कहा, कि “इससे कुछ फ़ाइदा नहीं, तूने अपनी क़ुव्वत की ताज़गी पाई इसलिए तू अफ़सुर्दा न हुई।
Thou weariedst thy selfe in thy manifolde iourneys, yet saydest thou not, There is no hope: thou hast found life by thine hand, therefore thou wast not grieued.
11 तब तू किससे डरी और किसके ख़ौफ़ से तूने झूट बोला, और मुझे याद न किया और ख़ातिर में न लाई? क्या मैं एक मुद्दत से ख़ामोश नहीं रहा? तोभी तू मुझ से न डरी।
And whome diddest thou reuerence or feare, seeing thou hast lyed vnto me, and hast not remembred me, neither set thy minde thereon? is it not because I holde my peace, and that of long time? therefore thou fearest not me.
12 मैं तेरी सदाक़त की तरफ़ तेरे कामों को फ़ाश करूँगा और उनसे तुझे कुछ नफ़ा' न होगा।
I will declare thy righteousnes and thy workes, and they shall not profite thee.
13 जब तू फ़रियाद करे, तो जिनको तूने जमा' किया है वह तुझे छुड़ाएँ; ये हवा उन सबको उड़ा ले जाएगी, एक झोंका उनको ले जाएगा; लेकिन मुझ पर तवक्कुल करनेवाला ज़मीन का मालिक होगा और मेरे पाक पहाड़ का वारिस होगा।
When thou cryest, let them that thou hast gathered together deliuer thee: but the winde shall take them all away: vanitie shall pull them away: but he that trusteth in me, shall inherite the lande, and shall possesse mine holy Mountaine.
14 तब यूँ कहा जाएगा, राह ऊँची करो, ऊँची करो, हमवार करो, मेरे लोगों के रास्ते से ठोकर का ज़रि'आ दूर करो।”
And he shall say, Cast vp, cast vp: prepare the way: take vp the stumbling blocks out of the way of my people.
15 क्यूँकि वह जो 'आली और बलन्द है और हमेशा से हमेशा तक क़ाईम है, जिसका नाम क़ुददूस है, यूँ फ़रमाता है, मैं बलन्द और मुक़द्दस मक़ाम में रहता हूँ, और उसके साथ भी जो शिकस्ता दिल और फ़रोतन है; ताकि फ़रोतनों की रूह को ज़िन्दा करूँ और शिकस्ता दिलों को हयात बख़्शूँ।
For thus sayth he that is hie and excellent, he that inhabiteth the eternitie, whose Name is the Holy one, I dwell in the high and holy place: with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirite to reuiue the spirite of the humble, and to giue life to them that are of a contrite heart.
16 क्यूँकि मैं हमेशा न झगड़ूँगा और हमेशा ग़ज़बनाक न रहूँगा, इसलिए कि मेरे सामने रूह और जानें जो मैंने पैदा की हैं बेताब हो जाती हैं।
For I will not contende for euer, neither will I be alwayes wroth, for the spirite should fayle before me: and I haue made the breath.
17 कि मैं उसके लालच के गुनाह से ग़ज़बनाक हुआ, इसलिए मैंने उसे मारा, मैंने अपने आपको छिपाया और ग़ज़बनाक हुआ; इसलिए कि वह उस राह पर जो उसके दिल ने निकाली, भटक गया था।
For his wicked couetousnesse I am angry with him, and haue smitten him: I hid mee and was angry, yet he went away, and turned after the way of his owne heart.
18 मैंने उसकी राहें देखीं, और मैं ही उसे शिफ़ा बख़्शूँगा; मैं उसकी रहबरी करूँगा, और उसको और उसके ग़मख़्वारों को फिर दिलासा दूँगा।
I haue seene his wayes, and wil heale him: I wil leade him also, and restore comfort vnto him, and to those that lament him.
19 ख़ुदावन्द फ़रमाता हैं, मैं लबों का फल पैदा करता हूँ, सलामती! सलामती उसको जो दूर है, और उसको जो नज़दीक है, और मैं ही उसे सिहत बख़्शूँगा।
I create the fruite of the lips, to be peace: peace vnto them that are farre off, and to them that are neere, sayth the Lord: for I will heale him.
20 लेकिन शरीर तो समन्दर की तरह हैं जो हमेशा मौजज़न और बेक़रार है, जिसका पानी कीचड़ और गन्दगी उछालता है।
But the wicked are like the raging sea, that can not rest, whose waters cast vp myre and dirt.
21 मेरा ख़ुदा फ़रमाता है, कि “शरीरों के लिए सलामती नहीं।”
There is no peace, sayth my God, to the wicked.
