यसा 3
1 क्यूँकि देखो ख़ुदावन्द रब्ब — उल — अफ़्वाज येरूशलेम और यहूदाह से सहारा और भरोसा, रोटी का तमाम सहारा और पानी का तमाम भरोसा दूर कर देगा;
For behold, the Lord, Jehovah of hosts, Taketh away from Jerusalem and from Judah every stay and support; The whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of water;
2 या'नी बहादुर और साहिब — ए — जंग को क़ाज़ी और नबी को, फ़ालगीरों और बुज़ुर्ग को।
The mighty man, and the warrior, The judge, the prophet, the diviner, and the sage,
3 पचास पचास के सरदारों और 'इज्ज़तदारों और सलाहकारों और होशियार कारीगरों और माहिर जादूगरों को।
The captain of fifty, and the honorable man, The counsellor, the expert in arts, and the skilful in charms.
4 और मैं लड़कों को उनके सरदार बनाऊँगा और नन्हे बच्चे उन पर हुक्मरानी करेंगे।
And I will make boys their princes, And children shall rule over them.
5 लोगों में से हर एक दूसरे पर और हर एक अपने पड़ोसी पर सितम करेगा। और बच्चे बूढ़ों की और रज़ील शरीफ़ों की गुस्ताख़ी करेंगे।
And the people shall oppress one another, Man striving against man, and neighbor against neighbor; The boy shall behave himself insolently toward the aged, And the base toward the honorable.
6 जब कोई आदमी अपने बाप के घर में अपने भाई का दामन पकड़कर कहे, कि तू पोशाकवाला है; आ तू हमारा हाकिम हो, और इस उजड़े देस पर क़ाबिज़ हो जा।
Then shall a man take hold of his brother in his father's house, [[and say, ]] Thou hast yet clothing, Be thou our ruler, And take this ruin into thy hands!
7 उस रोज़ वह बुलन्द आवाज़ से कहेगा, कि मुझसे इन्तिज़ाम नहीं होगा; क्यूँकि मेरे घर में न रोटी है न कपड़ा, मुझे लोगों का हाकिम न बनाओ।
But in that day shall he lift up his hand, and say: I am no healer; In my house is neither bread nor raiment; Make not me ruler of the people!
8 क्यूँकि येरूशलेम की बर्बादी हो गई और यहूदाह गिर गया, इसलिए कि उनकी बोल — चाल और चाल — चलन ख़ुदावन्द के ख़िलाफ़ हैं कि उसकी जलाली आँखों को ग़ज़बनाक करें।
For Jerusalem tottereth, and Judah falleth, Because their tongues and their deeds are against Jehovah, To provoke his holy eyes.
9 उनके मुँह की सूरत उन पर गवाही देती है वह अपने गुनाहों को सदूम की तरह ज़ाहिर करते हैं और छिपाते नहीं उनकी जानों पर वावैला है! क्यूँकि वह आप अपने ऊपर बला लाते हैं।
Their very countenance witnesseth against them; They publish their sin like Sodom; they hide it not; Woe to them, for they bring evil upon themselves!
10 रास्तबाज़ों के ज़रिए' कहो कि भला होगा, क्यूँकि वह अपने कामों का फल खाएँगे।
Say ye of the righteous that it shall be well with him, For he shall eat the fruit of his doings.
11 शरीरों पर वावैला है कि उनको बदी पेश आयेगी क्यूँकि वह अपने हाथों का किया पाएँगे।
Woe to the wicked, it shall be ill with him, For the work of his hands shall be repaid him!
12 मेरे लोगों की ये हालत है कि लड़के उन पर ज़ुल्म करते हैं, और 'औरतें उन पर हुक्मरान हैं। ऐ मेरे लोगों तुम्हारे रहनुमा तुम को गुमराह करते हैं, और तुम्हारे चलने की राहों को बिगाड़ते हैं।
As for my people, children are their oppressors, And women rule over them. O my people, thy leaders cause thee to err, And destroy the way in which thou walkest!
13 ख़ुदावन्द खड़ा है कि मुक़द्दमा लड़े, और लोगों की 'अदालत करे।
Jehovah standeth up to maintain his cause; He standeth up to judge his people.
14 ख़ुदावन्द अपने लोगों के बुज़ुर्गों और उनके सरदारों की 'अदालत करने को आएगा, “तुम ही हो जो बाग़ चट कर गए हो और ग़रीबों की लूट तुम्हारे घरों में है।”
Jehovah entereth into judgment with the elders of his people, and their princes: “So then ye have consumed the vineyard; The plunder of the poor is in your houses!
15 ख़ुदावन्द रब्ब — उल — अफ़्वाज फ़रमाता है कि इसके क्या क्या मा'ना हैं कि तुम मेरे लोगों को दबाते और ग़रीबों के सिर कुचलते हो।
What mean ye, that ye crush my people, And grind the faces of the poor?” Saith Jehovah, the Lord of hosts.
16 और ख़ुदावन्द फ़रमाता है, चूँकि सिय्यून की बेटियाँ मुतकब्बिर हैं और गर्दनकशी और शोख़ चश्मी से ख़िरामाँ होती हैं और अपने पाँव से नाज़रफ़्तारी करती और घुंघरू बजाती जाती हैं।
Thus, also, saith Jehovah: Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, And walk with outstretched necks, And glance their eyes wantonly, Mincing their steps as they go, And tinkling with their foot-clasps,
17 इसलिए ख़ुदावन्द सिय्यून की बेटियों के सिर गंजे, और यहोवाह उनके बदन बेपर्दा कर देगा।
Therefore will the Lord make their heads bald, And Jehovah will expose their nakedness.
18 उस दिन ख़ुदावन्द उनके ख़लख़ाल की ज़ेबाइश, जालियाँ और चाँद ले लेगा,
In that day shall the Lord take from them The ornaments of the foot-clasps, and the net-works, and the crescents;
19 और आवेज़े और पहुँचियाँ, और नक़ाब।
The ear-rings, and the bracelets, and the veils;
20 और ताज और पाज़ेब और पटके और 'इत्रदान और ता'वीज़।
The turbans, and the ankle-chains, and the belts; The perfume-boxes, and the amulets;
21 और अंगूठियाँ और नथ।
The finger-rings, and the nose-jewels;
22 और नफ़ीस पोशाकें, और ओढ़नियाँ, और दोपट्टे और कीसे,
The embroidered robes, and the tunics, and the cloaks, and the purses;
23 और आर्सियाँ और बारीक़ कतानी लिबास और दस्तारे़ और बुर्के़ भी।
The mirrors, and the linen shifts, and the head-bands, and the large veils.
24 और यूँ होगा कि ख़ुशबू के बदले सड़ाहट होगी, और पटके के बदले रस्सी, और गुंधे हुए बालों की जगह चंदलापन और नफ़ीस लिबास के बदले टाट और हुस्न के बदले दाग़।
And instead of perfume there shall be corruption; Instead of a belt, a rope; Instead of curled locks, baldness; Instead of a wide mantle, a covering of sackcloth; Fire-scars instead of beauty.
25 तेरे बहादुर हलाक होंगे और तेरे पहलवान जंग में क़त्ल होंगे।
Thy men shall fall by the sword, Yea, thy mighty men in battle;
26 उसके फाटक मातम और नौहा करेंगे, और वह उजाड़ होकर ख़ाक पर बैठेगी।
Her gates shall lament and mourn, And she, being desolate, shall sit upon the ground.
