यसा 25
1 ऐ ख़ुदावन्द तू मेरा ख़ुदा है; मैं तेरी तम्जीद करूँगा; तेरे नाम की इबादत करूँगा क्यूँकि तूने 'अजीब काम किए हैं, तेरी मसलहत क़दीम से वफ़ादारी और सच्चाई हैं।
O Jehovah, thou are my God. I will exalt thee. I will praise thy name. For thou have done wonderful things, even counsels of old, in faithfulness and truth.
2 क्यूँकि तूने शहर को ख़ाक का ढेर किया; हाँ, फ़सीलदार शहर को खण्डर बना दिया और परदेसियों के महल को भी, यहाँ तक कि शहर न रहा; वह फिर ता'मीर न किया जाएगा।
For thou have made of a city a heap, of a fortified city a ruin, a palace of strangers to be no city. It shall never be built.
3 इसलिए ज़बरदस्त लोग तेरी इबादत करेंगे और हैबतनाक क़ौमों का शहर तुझ से डरेगा।
Therefore a strong people shall glorify thee, a city of oppressive nations shall fear thee.
4 क्यूँकि तू ग़रीब के लिए क़िला' और मोहताज के लिए परेशानी के वक़्त मल्जा और ऑधी से पनाहगाह और गर्मी से बचाने को साया हुआ, जिस वक़्त ज़ालिमों की साँस दिवारकन तूफ़ान की तरह हो।
For thou have been a stronghold to a poor man, a stronghold to a needy man in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat, when the blast of the oppressors is as a storm against the wall.
5 तू परदेसियों के शोर को ख़ुश्क मकान की गर्मी की तरह दूर करेगा और जिस तरह अब्र के साये से गरमी हलाक होती है उसी तरह ज़ालिमों का शादियाना बजाना ख़त्म होगा।
As the heat in a dry place thou will bring down the noise of strangers, as the heat by the shade of a cloud, the song of the oppressors shall be brought low.
6 और रब्ब — उल — अफ़वाज इस पहाड़ पर सब क़ौमों के लिए फ़रबा चीज़ों से एक ज़ियाफ़त तैयार करेगा बल्कि एक ज़ियाफ़त तलछट पर से निथरी हुई मय से; हाँ फ़रबा चीज़ों से जो पुरमग़्ज़ हों और मय से जो तलछट पर से ख़ूब निथरी हुई हो।
And in this mountain Jehovah of hosts will make to all peoples a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the dregs, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the dregs well refined.
7 और वह इस पहाड़ पर उस पर्दे को, जो तमाम लोगों पर पड़ा है और उस नक़ाब को, जो सब क़ौमों पर लटक रहा है, दूर कर देगा।
And he will destroy on this mountain the face of the covering that covers all peoples, and the veil that is spread over all nations.
8 वह मौत को हमेशा के लिए हलाक करेगा और ख़ुदावन्द खुदा सब के चहरों से आँसू पोंछ डालेगा, और अपने लोगों की रुस्वाई तमाम सरज़मीन पर से मिटा देगा; क्यूँकि ख़ुदावन्द ने यह फ़रमाया है।
He will swallow up death in victory, and the lord Jehovah will wipe away tears from off all faces. And he will take away the reproach of his people from off all the earth. For Jehovah has spoken it.
9 और उस वक़्त यूँ कहा जाएगा, लो, यह हमारा ख़ुदा है; हम उसकी राह तकते थे और वही हम को बचाएगा। यह ख़ुदावन्द है, हम उसके इन्तिज़ार में थे। हम उसकी नजात से ख़ुश — ओ — ख़ुर्रम होंगे।
And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God. We have waited for him, and he will save us. This is Jehovah. We have waited for him. We will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.
10 क्यूँकि इस पहाड़ पर ख़ुदावन्द का हाथ बरक़रार रहेगा और मोआब अपनी ही जगह में ऐसा कुचला जाएगा जैसे मज़बले के पानी में घास कुचली जाती है।
For the hand of Jehovah will rest on this mountain. And Moab shall be trodden down in his place, even as straw is trodden down in the water of the dunghill.
11 और वह उसमें उसकी तरह जो तैरते हुए हाथ फैलाता है, अपने हाथ फैलाएगा; लेकिन वह उसके ग़ुरूर को उसके हाथों के फ़न — धोखे के साथ पस्त करेगा।
And he shall spread forth his hands in the midst of it as he who swims spreads forth his hands to swim. But Jehovah will lay low his pride together with the craft of his hands.
12 और वह तेरी फ़सील के ऊँचे बुर्जों को तोड़कर पस्त करेगा, और ज़मीन के बल्कि ख़ाक के बराबर कर देगा।
And the high fortress of thy walls he has brought down, laid low, and brought to the ground, even to the dust.
