पैदाइश 40
1 इन बातों के बाद यूँ हुआ कि शाह ए — मिस्र का साकी और नानपज़ अपने ख़ुदावन्द शाह — ए — मिस्र के मुजरिम हुए।

2 और फ़िर'औन अपने इन दोनों हाकिमों से जिनमें एक साकियों और दूसरा नानपज़ों का सरदार था, नाराज़ हो गया।
and be angry Pharaoh upon two eunuch his upon ruler [the] cupbearer and upon ruler [the] to bake
3 और उसने इनको जिलौदारों के सरदार के घर में उसी जगह जहाँ यूसुफ़ हिरासत में था, क़ैद खाने में नज़रबन्द करा दिया।
and to give: put [obj] them in/on/with custody house: home ruler [the] guard to(wards) house: home [the] prison place which Joseph to bind there
4 जिलौदारों के सरदार ने उनको यूसुफ़ के हवाले किया, और वह उनकी ख़िदमत करने लगा और वह एक मुद्दत तक नज़रबन्द रहे।
and to reckon: overseer ruler [the] guard [obj] Joseph with them and to minister [obj] them and to be day in/on/with custody
5 और शाह — ए — मिस्र के साकी और नानपज़ दोनों ने, जो क़ैद खाने में नज़रबन्द थे एक ही रात में अपने — अपने होनहार के मुताबिक़ एक — एक ख़्वाब देखा।
and to dream dream two their man: anyone dream his in/on/with night one man: anyone like/as interpretation dream his [the] cupbearer and [the] to bake which to/for king Egypt which to bind in/on/with house: home [the] prison
6 और यूसुफ़ सुबह को उनके पास अन्दर आया और देखा कि वह उदास हैं।
and to come (in): come to(wards) them Joseph in/on/with morning and to see: see [obj] them and look! they to enrage
7 और उसने फ़िर'औन के हाकिमों से जो उसके साथ उसके आक़ा के घर में नज़रबन्द थे, पूछा कि आज तुम क्यूँ ऐसे उदास नज़र आते हो?
and to ask [obj] eunuch Pharaoh which with him in/on/with custody house: home lord his to/for to say why? face your bad: harmful [the] day
8 उन्होंने उससे कहा, “हम ने एक ख़्वाब देखा है, जिसकी ता'बीर करने वाला कोई नहीं।” यूसुफ़ ने उनसे कहा, “क्या ता'बीर की कुदरत ख़ुदा को नहीं? मुझे ज़रा वह ख़्वाब बताओ।”
and to say to(wards) him dream to dream and to interpret nothing [obj] him and to say to(wards) them Joseph not to/for God interpretation to recount please to/for me
9 तब सरदार साकी ने अपना ख़्वाब यूसुफ़ से बयान किया। उसने कहा, “मैंने ख़्वाब में देखा कि अंगूर की बेल मेरे सामने है।
and to recount ruler [the] cupbearer [obj] dream his to/for Joseph and to say to/for him in/on/with dream my and behold vine to/for face: before my
10 और उस बेल में तीन शाखें हैं, और ऐसा दिखाई दिया कि उसमें कलियाँ लगीं और फूल आए और उसके सब गुच्छों में पक्के — पक्के अंगूर लगे।
and in/on/with vine three tendril and he/she/it like/as to sprout to ascend: rise flower her to boil cluster her grape
11 और फ़िर'औन का प्याला मेरे हाथ में है, और मैंने उन अंगूरों को लेकर फ़िर'औन के प्याले में निचोड़ा और वह प्याला मैंने फ़िर'औन के हाथ में दिया।”
and cup Pharaoh in/on/with hand my and to take: take [obj] [the] grape and to squeeze [obj] them to(wards) cup Pharaoh and to give: put [obj] [the] cup upon palm Pharaoh
12 यूसुफ़ ने उससे कहा, “इसकी ता'बीर यह है कि वह तीन शाखें तीन दिन हैं।
and to say to/for him Joseph this interpretation his three [the] tendril three day they(masc.)
13 इसलिए अब से तीन दिन के अन्दर फ़िर'औन तुझे सरफ़राज़ फ़रमाएगा, और तुझे फिर तेरे 'ओहदे पर बहाल कर देगा; और पहले की तरह जब तू उसका साकी था, प्याला फ़िर'औन के हाथ में दिया करेगा।

14 लेकिन जब तू ख़ुशहाल हो जाए तो मुझे याद करना और ज़रा मुझ से मेहरबानी से पेश आना, और फ़िर'औन से मेरा ज़िक्र करना और मुझे इस घर से छुटकारा दिलवाना।
that if: except if: except to remember me with you like/as as which be good to/for you and to make: do please with me me kindness and to remember me to(wards) Pharaoh and to come out: send me from [the] house: home [the] this
15 क्यूँकि इब्रानियों के मुल्क से मुझे चुरा कर ले आए हैं, और यहाँ भी मैंने ऐसा कोई काम नहीं किया जिसकी वजह से क़ैद खाने में डाला जाऊँ।”

16 जब सरदार नानपज़ ने देखा कि ता'बीर अच्छी निकली तो यूसुफ़ से कहा, “मैंने भी ख़्वाब में देखा, कि मेरे सिर पर सफ़ेद रोटी की तीन टोकरियाँ हैं;
and to see: see ruler [the] to bake for pleasant to interpret and to say to(wards) Joseph also I in/on/with dream my and behold three basket white upon head my
17 और ऊपर की टोकरी में हर क़िस्म का पका हुआ खाना फ़िर'औन के लिए है, और परिन्दे मेरे सिर पर की टोकरी में से खा रहे हैं।”
and in/on/with basket [the] high from all food Pharaoh deed: work to bake and [the] bird to eat [obj] them from [the] basket from upon head my
18 यूसुफ़ ने उसे कहा, “इसकी ता'बीर यह है कि वह तीन टोकरियाँ तीन दिन हैं।
and to answer Joseph and to say this interpretation his three [the] basket three day they(masc.)
19 इसलिए अब से तीन दिन के अन्दर फ़िर'औन तेरा सिर तेरे तन से जुदा करा के तुझे एक दरख़्त पर टंगवा देगा, और परिन्दे तेरा गोश्त नोंच — नोंच कर खाएँगे।”

20 और तीसरे दिन जो फ़िर'औन की सालगिरह का दिन था, यूँ हुआ कि उसने अपने सब नौकरों की दावत की और उसने सरदार साकी और सरदार नानपज़ को अपने नौकरों के साथ याद फ़रमाया।
and to be in/on/with day [the] third (day *LAH(b)*) to beget [obj] Pharaoh and to make feast to/for all servant/slave his and to lift: raise [obj] head ruler [the] cupbearer and [obj] head ruler [the] to bake in/on/with midst servant/slave his
21 और उसने सरदार साकी को फिर उसकी ख़िदमत पर बहाल किया, और वह फ़िर'औन के हाथ में प्याला देने लगा।
and to return: rescue [obj] ruler [the] cupbearer upon cupbearer his and to give: put [the] cup upon palm Pharaoh
22 लेकिन उसने सरदार नानपज़ को फाँसी दिलवाई, जैसा यूसुफ़ ने ता'बीर करके उनको बताया था।
and [obj] ruler [the] to bake to hang like/as as which to interpret to/for them Joseph
23 लेकिन सरदार साकी ने यूसुफ़ को याद न किया बल्कि उसे भूल गया।
and not to remember ruler [the] cupbearer [obj] Joseph and to forget him
