पैदाइश 22
1 इन बातों के बाद यूँ हुआ कि ख़ुदा ने अब्रहाम को आज़माया और उसे कहा, ऐ अब्रहाम! “उसने कहा, मैं हाज़िर हूँ।”
And aftir that these thingis weren don, God assaiede Abraham, and seide to hym, Abraham! Abraham! He answerde, Y am present.
2 तब उसने कहा कि तू अपने बेटे इस्हाक़ को जो तेरा इकलौता है और जिसे तू प्यार करता है, साथ लेकर मोरियाह के मुल्क में जा और वहाँ उसे पहाड़ों में से एक पहाड़ पर जो मैं तुझे बताऊँगा, सोख़्तनी क़ुर्बानी के तौर पर चढ़ा।
God seide to him, Take thi `sone oon gendrid, whom thou louest, Ysaac; and go into the lond of visioun, and offre thou hym there in to brent sacrifice, on oon of the hillis whiche Y schal schewe to thee.
3 तब अब्रहाम ने सुबह सवेरे उठ कर अपने गधे पर चार जामा कसा और अपने साथ दो जवानों और अपने बेटे इस्हाक़ को लिया, और सोख़्तनी क़ुर्बानी के लिए लकड़ियाँ चीरी और उठ कर उस जगह को जो ख़ुदा ने उसे बताई थी रवाना हुआ।
Therfor Abraham roos bi niyt, and sadlide his asse, and ledde with hym twey yonge men, and Ysaac his sone; and whanne he hadde hewe trees in to brent sacrifice, he yede to the place which God hadde comaundid to him.
4 तीसरे दिन अब्रहाम ने निगाह की और उस जगह को दूर से देखा।
Forsothe in the thridde dai he reiside hise iyen, and seiy a place afer;
5 तब अब्रहाम ने अपने जवानों से कहा, “तुम यहीं गधे के पास ठहरो, मैं और यह लड़का दोनों ज़रा वहाँ तक जाते हैं, और सिज्दा करके फिर तुम्हारे पास लौट आएँगे।”
and he seide to hise children, Abide ye here with the asse, Y and the child schulen go thidur; and aftir that we han worschipid, we schulen turne ayen to you.
6 और अब्रहाम ने सोख्त़नी क़ुर्बानी की लकड़ियाँ लेकर अपने बेटें इस्हाक़ पर रख्खीं, और आग और छुरी अपने हाथ में ली और दोनों इकट्ठे रवाना हुए।
And he took the trees of brent sacrifice, and puttide on Ysaac his sone; forsothe he bar fier, and a swerd in hise hondis. And whanne thei tweyne yeden togidere, Isaac seide to his fadir, My fadir!
7 तब इस्हाक़ ने अपने बाप अब्रहाम से कहा, ऐ बाप! “उसने जवाब दिया कि ऐ मेरे बेटे, मैं हाज़िर हूँ। उसने कहा, देख, आग और लकड़ियाँ तो हैं, लेकिन सोख़्तनी क़ुर्बानी के लिए बर्रा कहाँ है?”
And he answerde, What wolt thou, sone? He seide, Lo! fier and trees, where is the beeste of brent sacrifice?
8 अब्रहाम ने कहा, “ऐ मेरे बेटे ख़ुदा ख़ुद ही अपने लिए सोख़्तनी क़ुर्बानी के लिए बर्रा मुहय्या कर लेगा।” तब वह दोनों आगे चलते गए।
Abraham seide, My sone, God schal puruey to hym the beeste of brent sacrifice.
9 और उस जगह पहुँचे जो ख़ुदा ने बताई थी; वहाँ अब्रहाम ने क़ुर्बान गाह बनाई और उस पर लकड़ियाँ चुनीं और अपने बेटे इस्हाक़ को बाँधा और उसे क़ुर्बानगाह पर लकड़ियों के ऊपर रख्खा।
Therfor thei yeden to gidere, and camen to the place whiche God hadde schewid to hym, in which place Abraham bildide an auter, and dresside trees a boue; and whanne he hadde bounde to gidere Ysaac, his sone, he puttide Ysaac in the auter, on the heep of trees.
10 और अब्रहाम ने हाथ बढ़ाकर छुरी ली कि अपने बेटे को ज़बह करे।
And he helde forth his hond, and took the swerd to sacrifice his sone.
11 तब ख़ुदावन्द के फ़रिश्ता ने उसे आसमान से पुकारा, कि ऐ अब्रहाम, ऐ अब्रहाम! उसने कहा, “मैं हाज़िर हूँ।”
And lo! an aungel of the Lord criede fro heuene, and seide, Abraham! Abraham!
12 फिर उसने कहा कि तू अपना हाथ लड़के पर न चला और न उससे कुछ कर; क्यूँकि मैं अब जान गया कि तू ख़ुदा से डरता है, इसलिए कि तूने अपने बेटे को भी जो तेरा इकलौता है मुझ से दरेग न किया।
Which answerde, I am present. And the aungel seide to hym, Holde thou not forth thin honde on the child, nether do thou ony thing to him; now Y haue knowe that thou dredist God, and sparidist not thin oon gendrid sone for me.
13 और अब्रहाम ने निगाह की और अपने पीछे एक मेंढा देखा जिसके सींग झाड़ी में अटके थे; तब अब्रहाम ने जाकर उस मेंढे को पकड़ा और अपने बेटे के बदले सोख़्तनी क़ुर्बानी के तौर पर चढ़ाया।
Abraham reiside hise iyen, and he seiy `bihynde his bak a ram cleuynge bi hornes among breris, which he took, and offride brent sacrifice for the sone.
14 और अब्रहाम ने उस मक़म का नाम यहोवा यरी रख्खा। चुनाँचे आज तक यह कहावत है कि ख़ुदावन्द के पहाड़ पर मुहय्या किया जाएगा।
And he clepide the name of that place, The Lord seeth; wherfore it is seyd, til to dai, The Lord schal see in the hil.
15 और ख़ुदावन्द के फ़रिश्ते ने आसमान से दोबारा अब्रहाम को पुकारा और कहा कि।
Forsothe the aungel of the Lord clepide Abraham the secounde tyme fro heuene,
16 “ख़ुदावन्द फ़रमाता है, चूँकि तूने यह काम किया कि अपने बेटे की भी जो तेरा इकलौता है दरेग न रख्खा; इसलिए मैंने भी अपनी ज़ात की क़सम खाई है कि
and seide, The Lord seith, Y haue swore bi my silf, for thou hast do this thing, and hast not sparid thin oon gendrid for me,
17 मैं तुझे बरकत पर बरकत दूँगा, और तेरी नसल को बढ़ाते — बढ़ाते आसमान के तारों और समुन्दर के किनारे की रेत की तरह कर दूँगा, और तेरी औलाद अपने दुश्मनों के फाटक की मालिक होगी।
Y schal blesse thee, and Y schal multiplie thi seed as the sterris of heuene, and as grauel which is in the brynk of the see; thi seed schal gete the yatis of hise enemyes;
18 और तेरी नसल के वसीले से ज़मीन की सब क़ौमें बरकत पाएँगी, क्यूँकि तूने मेरी बात मानी।”
and alle the folkis of erthe schulen be blessid in thi seed, for thou obeiedist to my vois.
19 तब अब्रहाम अपने जवानों के पास लौट गया, और वह उठे और इकट्ठे बैरसबा' को गए; और अब्रहाम बैरसबा' में रहा।
Abraham turnede ayen to hise children, and thei yeden to Bersabee to gidere, and he dwellide there.
20 इन बातों के बाद यूँ हुआ कि अब्रहाम को यह ख़बर मिली, कि मिल्काह के भी तेरे भाई नहूर से बेटे हुए हैं।
And so whanne these thingis weren don, it was teld to Abraham that also Melcha hadde bore sones to Nachor his brother;
21 या'नी ऊज़ जो उसका पहलौठा है, और उसका भाई बूज़ और क्रमूएल, अराम का बाप,
Hus the firste gendrid, and Buz his brothir, and Chamuhel the fadir of Sireis,
22 और कसद और हजू और फ़िल्दास और इद्लाफ़ और बैतूएल।
and Cased, and Asan, and Feldas,
23 और बैतूएल से रिब्क़ा पैदा हुई। यह आठों अब्रहाम के भाई नहूर से मिल्काह के पैदा हुए।
and Jedlaf, and Batuhel, of whom Rebecca was borun; Melcha childide these eiyte to Nachor brother of Abraham.
24 और उसकी बाँदी से भी जिसका नाम रूमा था, तिबख़ और जाहम और तख़स और मा'का पैदा हुए।
Forsothe his concubyn, Roma bi name, childide Thabee, and Gaon, and Thaas, and Maacha.
