हिज़ि 4
1 और ऐ आदमज़ाद, तू एक खपरा ले और अपने सामने रख कर उस पर एक शहर, हाँ, येरूशलेम ही की तस्वीर खींच।
But thou, O son of man, take thyself a tile, and lay it before thee, and engrave upon it a city, [namely, ] Jerusalem:
2 और उसका घेराव कर, और उसके सामने बुर्ज बना, और उसके सामने दमदमा बाँध और उसके चारों तरफ़ ख़ेमें खड़े कर और उसके चारों तरफ़ मन्जनीक लगा।
And place around it a siege, and build works of attack against it, and cast up a mound against it; and arrange around it encampments, and place against it battering rams round about.
3 फिर तू लोहे का एक तवा ले, और अपने और शहर के बीच उसे नस्ब कर कि वह लोहे की दीवार ठहरे और तू अपना मुँह उसके सामने कर और वह घेराव की हालत में हो, और तू उसको घेरने वाला होगा; यह बनी इस्राईल के लिए निशान है।
Moreover take thou unto thyself an iron pan, and set it up as a wall of iron between thee and the city: and direct thy face against it, that it may be placed in a state of siege, and lay siege against it. This shall be a sign for the house of Israel.
4 फिर तू अपनी ईं करवट पर लेट रह और बनी — इस्राईल की बदकिरदारी इस पर रख दे; जितने दिनों तक तू लेटा रहेगा, तू उनकी बदकिरदारी बर्दाश्त करेगा।
And as for thyself, lie upon thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it: [after] the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon it shalt thou bear their iniquity.
5 और मैंने उनकी बदकिरदारी के बरसों को उन दिनों के शुमार के मुताबिक़ जो तीन — सौ — नब्बे दिन हैं तुझ पर रख्खा है, इसलिए तू बनी — इस्राईल की बदकिरदारी बर्दाश्त करेगा।
But as for myself, I lay upon thee the years of their iniquity, after the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days: so shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.
6 और जब तू इनको पूरा कर चुके तो फिर अपनी दहनी करवट पर लेट रह, और चालीस दिन तक बनी यहूदाह की बदकिरदारी को बर्दाश्त कर; मैंने तेरे लिए एक एक साल के बदले एक एक दिन मुक़र्रर किया है।
And when thou hast made an end of them, thou shalt lie on thy right side, the second time, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: a day each for a year, a day for a year do I lay it on thee.
7 फिर तू येरूशलेम के घेराव की तरफ़ मुँह कर और अपना बाज़ू नंगा कर और उसके ख़िलाफ़ नबुव्वत कर।
And toward the siege of Jerusalem shalt thou direct thy face with thy arm uncovered, and thou shalt prophesy against it.
8 और देख, मैं तुझ पर बन्धन डालूँगा कि तू करवट न ले सके, जब तक अपने घेराव के दिनों को पूरा न कर ले।
And, behold, I will lay ropes upon thee, that thou mayest not turn thyself from one side to the other, till thou hast made an end of the days of thy siege.
9 और तू अपने लिए गेहूँ और जौ और बाक़ला और मसूर और चना और बाजरा ले, और उनको एक ही बर्तन में रख, और उनकी इतनी रोटियाँ पका जितने दिनों तक तू पहली करवट पर लेटा रहेगा; तू तीन सौ नब्बे दिन तक उनको खाना।
But thou take unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentiles, and millet, and spelt, and put them in one vessel, and make thyself bread thereof, [after] the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon thy side, three hundred and ninety days, shalt thou eat it.
10 और तेरा खाना वज़न करके बीस मिस्काल “रोज़ाना होगा जो तू खाएगा, तू थोड़ा — थोड़ा खाना।
And thy food which thou shalt eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels for every day: from one time to the other time shalt thou eat it.
11 तू पानी भी नाप कर एक हीन का छटा हिस्सा पिएगा, तू थोड़ा — थोड़ा पीना।
And water shalt thou drink by measure, the sixth part of a hin: from one time to the other time shalt thou drink [it].
12 और तू जौ के फुल्के खाना, और तू उनकी आँखों के सामने इंसान की नजासत से उनको पकाना।”
And in form of a barley-cake shalt thou eat it, and this shalt thou bake with balls of human excrement before their eyes.
13 और ख़ुदावन्द ने फ़रमाया, कि “इसी तरह से बनी — इस्राईल अपनी नापाक रोटियों को उन क़ौमों के बीच जिनमें मैं उनको आवारा करूँगा, खाया करेंगे।”
And the Lord said, Even thus shall the children of Israel eat their bread unclean among the nations whither I will drive them.
14 तब मैंने कहा, कि “हाय, ख़ुदावन्द ख़ुदा! देख, मेरी जान कभी नापाक नहीं हुई; और अपनी जवानी से अब तक कोई मुरदार चीज़ जो आप ही मर जाए या किसी जानवर से फाड़ी जाए, मैंने हरगिज़ नहीं खाई, और हराम गोश्त मेरे मुँह में कभी नहीं गया।”
Then said I, Ah Lord Eternal! behold, my soul hath not been defiled; and that which dieth of itself, or is torn in pieces, have I never eaten from my youth up even until now; and never is flesh of abomination come into my mouth.
15 तब उसने मुझे फ़रमाया, देख, मैं इंसान की नजासत के बदले तुझे गोबर देता हूँ, इसलिए तू अपनी रोटी उससे पकाना।
Then said he unto me, Lo, I have given thee cow's dung instead of human excrement; and thou shalt prepare thy bread thereupon.
16 उसने मुझे फ़रमाया, कि ऐ आदमज़ाद, देख, मैं येरूशलेम में रोटी का 'असा तोड़ डालूँगा; और वह रोटी तौल कर फ़िक्रमन्दी से खाएँगे, और पानी नाप कर हैरत से पिएँगे।
And he said unto me, Son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread in Jerusalem; and they shall eat bread by weight, and with anxious care; and they shall drink water by measure, and in confusion;
17 ताकि वह रोटी पानी के मोहताज हों, और एक साथ शर्मिन्दा हों और अपनी बदकिरदारी में हलाक हों।
In order that they may want bread and water, and be confounded one with the other, and pine away for their iniquity.
