हिज़ि 27
1 फिर ख़ुदावन्द का कलाम मुझपर नाज़िल हुआ।
And the word of the Lord came to me saying,
2 कि 'ऐ आदमज़ाद, तू सूर पर नोहा शुरू' कर।
And thou, son of man, take up a lamentation against Sor;
3 और सूर से कह तुझे, जिसने समन्दर के मदख़ल में जगह पाई और बहुत से बहरी मुल्क के लोगों के लिए तिजारत गाह है, ख़ुदावन्द ख़ुदा यूँ फ़रमाता है: कि 'ऐ सूर, तू कहता है, मेरा हुस्न कामिल है। किया।
and thou shalt say to Sor that dwells at the entrance of the sea, to the mart of the nations coming from many islands, Thus saith the Lord to Sor; Thou hast said, I have clothed myself with my beauty.
4 तेरी सरहदें समन्दर के बीच हैं, तेरे मिस्तिरियों ने तेरी ख़ुशनुमाई को कामिल किया है।
In the heart of the sea thy sons have put beauty upon thee for Beelim.
5 उन्होंने सनीर के सरोओं से लाकर तेरे जहाज़ों के तख़्ते बनाए, और लुबनान से देवदार काटकर तेरे लिए मस्तूल बनाए।
Cedar in Senir was employed for thee in building: boards of cypress timber were taken out of Libanus, and wood to make thee masts of fir.
6 बसन के बलूत से टाट बनाए तेरे तख़्ते जज़ाइर — ए — कित्तीम के सनूबर से हाथी दांत जड़कर तैयार किये गए।
They made thine oars [of wood] out of the land of Basan; thy sacred utensils they made of ivory, thy shady houses of wood from the isles of Chetiim.
7 तेरा बादबान मिस्री मुनक़्क़श कतान का था ताकि तेरे लिए झन्डे का काम दे, तेरा शामियाना जज़ाईरे इलिसा के कबूदी व अर्गवानी रंग का था।
Fine linen with embroidery from Egypt supplied the couch, to put honour upon thee, and to clothe thee with blue and purple from the isles of Elisai; and they became thy coverings.
8 सैदा और अर्वद के रहने वाले तेरे मल्लाह थे और ऐ सूर तेरे 'अक़्लमन्द तुझ में तेरे नाख़ुदा थे।
And thy princes were the dwellers in Sidon, and the Aradians were thy rowers: thy wise men, O Sor, who were in thee, these were thy pilots.
9 जबल के बुजु़र्ग और 'अक़्लमन्द तुझ में थे कि रखना बन्दी करें, समन्दर के सब जहाज़ और उनके मल्लाह तुझमें हाज़िर थे कि तेरे लिए तिजारत का काम करें।
The elders of the Biblians, and their wise men, who were in thee, these helped thy counsel: and all the ships of the sea and their rowers traded for thee to the utmost west.
10 फ़ारस और लूद और फूत के लोग तेरे लिए लश्कर के जंगी बहादुर थे। वह तुझ में सिपर और खूद को लटकाते और तुझे रौनक बख़्शाते थे।
Persians and Lydians and Libyans were in thine army: thy warriors hung in thee shields and helmets; these gave [thee] thy glory.
11 अर्वद के मर्द तेरी ही फ़ौज के साथ चारों तरफ़ तेरी शहरपनाह पर मौजूद थे और बहादुर तेरे बुर्जों पर हाज़िर थे, उन्होंने अपनी सिप्परें चारों तरफ़ तेरी दीवारों पर लटकाई और तेरे जमाल को कामिल किया।
The sons of the Aradians and thine army were upon the walls; there were guards in thy towers: they hung their quivers on thy battlements round about; these completed thy beauty.
12 'तरसीस ने हर तरह के माल की कसरत की वजह से तेरे साथ तिजारत की, वह चाँदी और लोहा और रॉगा और सीसा लाकर तेरे बाज़ारों में सौदागरी करते थे।
The Carthaginians were thy merchants because of the abundance of all thy strength; they furnished thy market with silver, and gold, and iron, and tin, and lead.
13 यावान तूबल और मसक तेरे ताजिर थे, वह तेरे बाज़ारों में और लुबनान तेरे बाज़ारों में गु़लामों और पीतल के बर्तनों की सौदागरी करते थे।
Greece, both the whole [world], and the adjacent coasts, these traded with thee in the persons of men, and they gave [as] thy merchandise vessels of brass.
14 अहल — ए — तुजरमा ने तेरे बाज़ारों में घोड़ों, जंगी घोड़ों और खच्चरों की तिजारत की।
Out of the house of Thogarma horses and horsemen furnished the market.
15 अहल ए — ददान तेरे ताजिर थे बहुत से बहरी मुल्क तिजारत के लिए तेरे इख़्तियार में वह हाथी दान्त और आबनूस मुबादला के लिए तेरे पास लाते थे
The sons of the Rhodians were thy merchants; from the islands they multiplied thy merchandise, [even] elephants' teeth: and to them that came in thou didst return thy prices,
16 अरामी तेरी दस्तकारी की कसरत की वजह से तेरे साथ तिजारत करते थे वह गौहर — ए — शब — चराग़ और अर्गवानी रंग और चिकनदोज़ी और कतान और मूंगा और मल्लाह थे लाल लाकर तुझ से ख़रीद — ओ — फ़रोख़्त करते थे।
[even] men [as] thy merchandise, from the multitude of thy trading [population], myrrh and embroidered works from Tharsis: Ramoth also and Chorchor furnished thy market.
17 यहूदाह और इस्राईल का मुल्क तेरे ताजिर थे, वह मिनीत और पन्नग का गेहूँ और शहद और रोगन और बिलसान लाकर तेरे साथ तिजारत करते थे।
Juda and the children of Israel, these were thy merchants; in the sale of corn and ointments and cassia: and they gave the best honey, and oil, and resin, to thy trading [population].
18 अहल — ए — दमिश्क़ तेरी दस्तकारी की कसरत की वजह से, और क़िस्म क़िस्म के माल की ज़्यादती के ज़रिए' हलबून की मय और सफ़ेद ऊन की तिजारत तेरे यहाँ करते थे।
[The people of] Damascus were thy merchants by reason of the abundance of all thy power; wine out of Chelbon, and wool from Miletus; and they brought wine into thy market.
19 दान और यावान ऊज़ाल से तज और आबदार फ़ौलाद और अगर तेरे बाज़ारों में लाते थे।
Out of Asel [came] wrought iron, and there is the sound of wheels among thy trading [population].
20 ददान तेरा ताजिर था, जो सवारी के चार — जामे तेरे हाथ बेचता था।
[The people of] Daedan were thy merchants, with choice cattle for chariots.
21 'अरब और कीदार के सब अमीर तिजारत की राह से तेरे हाथ में थे, वह बर्रे और मेंढे और बकरियाँ लाकर तेरे साथ तिजारत करते थे।
Arabia and all the princes of Kedar, these were thy traders with thee, [bringing] camels, and lambs, and rams, in which they trade with thee.
22 सबा और रा'माह के सौदागर तेरे साथ सौदागरी करते थे; वह हर क़िस्म के नफ़ीस मसाल्हे और हर तरह के क़ीमती पत्थर और सोना, तेरे बाज़ारों में लाकर ख़रीद — ओ — फ़रोख़्त करते थे।
The merchants of Sabba and Ramma, these were thy merchants, with choice spices, and precious stones: and they brought gold to thy market.
23 हरान और कन्ना और अदन और सबा के सौदागर, और असूर और किलमद के बाशिन्दे तेरे साथ सौदागरी करते थे।
Charra, and Chanaa, these were thy merchants: Assur, and Charman, were thy merchants:
24 यही तेरे सौदागर थे, जो लाजूर्दी कपड़े और कम ख़्वाब और नफ़ीस लिबासों से भरे देवदार के सन्दूक़, डोरी से कसे हुए तेरी तिजारतगाह में बेचने को लाते थे।
bringing [for] merchandise blue, and choice stores bound with cords, and cypress wood.
25 तरसीस के जहाज़ तेरी तिजारत के कारवान थे, तू मा'मूर और वस्त — ए — बहर में बहुत शान — ओ — शौकत रखता था।
Ships were thy merchants, in abundance, with thy trading [population]: and thou wast filled and very heavily loaded in the heart of the sea.
26 “तेरे मल्लाह तुझे गहरे पानी में लाए, पूरबी हवा ने तुझ को वस्त — ए — बहर में तोड़ा है।
Thy rowers have brought thee into great waters: the south wind has broken thee in the heart of the sea.
27 तेरा माल — ओ — अस्बाब और तेरी अजनास — ए — तिजारत और तेरे अहल — ए — जहाज़ व ना ख़ुदा तेरे रखना बन्दी करनेवाले और तेरे कारोबार के गुमाश्ते और सब जंगी मर्द जो तुझ में हैं, उस तमाम जमा'अत के साथ जो तुझ में है, तेरी तबाही के दिन समन्दर के बीच में गिरेंगे।
Thy forces, and thy gain, and that of thy traders, and thy rowers, and thy pilots, and thy counselors, and they that traffic with thee, and all thy warriors that are in thee: and all thy company in the midst of thee shall perish in the heart of the sea, in the day of thy fall.
28 तेरे नाख़ुदाओं के चिल्लाने के शोर से तमाम 'इलाक़े थर्रा जायेंगे।
At the cry of thy voice thy pilots shall be greatly terrified.
29 और तमाम मल्लाह और अहल — ए — जहाज़ और समन्दर के सब नाख़ुदा, अपने जहाज़ों पर से उतर आएँगे; वह ख़ुश्की पर खड़े होंगे।
And all the rowers and the mariners shall come down from the ships, and the pilots of the sea shall stand on the land.
30 और अपनी आवाज़ बुलन्द करके तेरी वजह से चिल्लाएँगे, और अपने सिरों पर ख़ाक डालेंगे और राख में लोटेंगे।
And they shall wail over thee with their voice, and cry bitterly, and put earth on their heads, and spread ashes under them.
31 वह तेरी वजह से सिर मुंडाएँगे और टाट ओढेंगे वह तेरे लिए दिल शिकस्ता होकर रोएँगे और जॉगुदाज़ नोहा करेंगे।
32 और नोहा करते हुए तुझ पर मरसिया ख़वानी करेंगे और तुझ पर यूँ रोएँगे; 'कौन सूर की तरह है, जो समन्दर के बीच में तबाह हुआ?
And their sons shall take up a [lament] for thee, even a lamentation for Sor, [saying],
33 जब तेरा माल — ए — तिजारत समन्दर पर से जाता था, तब तुझ से बहुत सी क़ौमें मालामाल होती थीं; तू अपनी दौलत और अजनास — ए — तिजारत की कसरत से इस ज़मीन के बादशाहों को दौलतमन्द बनाता था।
How large a reward hast thou gained from the sea? thou hast filled nations out of thine abundance; and out of thy mixed merchandise thou hast enriched all the kings of the earth.
34 लेकिन अब तू समन्दर की गहराई में पानी के ज़ोर से टूट गया है, तेरी अजनास — ए — तिजारत। और तेरे अन्दर की तमाम जमा'अत गिर गई।
Now art thou broken in the sea, thy traders are in the deep water, and all thy company in the midst of thee: all thy rowers have fallen.
35 बहरी मुल्क के सब रहने वाले तेरे ज़रिए' हैरत ज़दह होंगे और उनके बादशाह बहुत तरसान होंगे और उनका चेहरा ज़र्द हो जाएगा।
All the dwellers in the islands have mourned over thee, and their kings have been utterly amazed, and their countenance has wept.
36 क़ौमों के सौदागर तेरा ज़िक्र सुनकर सुसकारेंगे, तू जा — ए — 'इबरत होगा और बाक़ी न रहेगा।”
Merchants from the nations have hissed at thee; thou art utterly destroyed, and shalt not be any more for ever.
