आमाल 15
1 फिर कुछ लोग यहूदिया से आ कर भाइयों को यह तालीम देने लगे, “ज़रूरी है कि आप का मूसा की शरी'अत के मुताबिक़ ख़तना किया जाए, वर्ना आप नजात नहीं पा सकेंगे।”
But some men came down from Judea and attempted to teach the brethren, saying, "Unless you are circumcised according to Moses’ custom, you cannot be saved."
2 पस, जब पौलुस और बरनबास की उन से बहुत तकरार और बहस हुई तो कलीसिया ने ये ठहराया कि पौलुस और बरनबास और उन में से चन्द शख़्स इस मस्ले के लिए रसूलों और बुज़ुर्गों के पास येरूशलेम जाएँ।
Now when dispute and controversy sprang up between them and Paul and Barnabas, the brethren appointed Paul and Barnabas, and certain others, to go up to Jerusalem to see the apostles and elders about this question.
3 पस, कलीसिया ने उनको रवाना किया और वो ग़ैर क़ौमों को रुजू लाने का बयान करते हुए फ़ीनिके और सामरिया सूबे से गुज़रे और सब भाइयों को बहुत ख़ुश करते गए।
So the church saw them off on their journey, and they passed through both Phoenicia and Samaria. Here they set forth the conversion of the Gentiles, and brought great joy to all the brothers.
4 जब येरूशलेम में पहुँचे तो कलीसिया और रसूल और बुज़ुर्ग उन से ख़ुशी के साथ मिले। और उन्हों ने सब कुछ बयान किया जो ख़ुदा ने उनके ज़रिए किया था।
Upon their arrival in Jerusalem they were received by the church and the apostles and elders, and they told them all things that God had done with them.
5 मगर फ़रीसियों के फ़िर्के में से जो ईमान लाए थे, उन में से कुछ ने उठ कर कहा “कि उनका ख़तना कराना और उनको मूसा की शरी'अत पर अमल करने का हुक्म देना ज़रूरी है।”
But certain men who had belonged to the sect of the Pharisees, but were now believers, stood up and said, "It is necessary to circumcise Gentile, and to order them to keep the Law of Moses."
6 पस, रसूल और बुज़ुर्ग इस बात पर ग़ौर करने के लिए जमा हुए।
The apostles and elders met to consider the matter;
7 और बहुत बहस के बाद पतरस ने खड़े होकर उन से कहा कि ऐ भाइयों तुम जानते हो कि बहुत अर्सा हुआ जब ख़ुदा ने तुम लोगों में से मुझे चुना कि ग़ैर क़ौमें मेरी ज़बान से ख़ुशख़बरी का कलाम सुनकर ईमान लाएँ।
and after there had been a long discussion, Peter rose and said. "Brothers, you know how a good while ago God made choice among you, that from my lips the Gentiles were to hear the message of the gospel and believe.
8 और ख़ुदा ने जो दिलों को जानता है उनको भी हमारी तरह रूह — उल — क़ुद्दूस दे कर उन की गवाही दी।
"And God, who knows the hearts of all, gave this testimony in their behalf, by bestowing upon them the Holy Spirit just as he did upon us;
9 और ईमान के वसीले से उन के दिल पाक करके हम में और उन में कुछ फ़र्क़ न रख्खा।
"and he made no distinction between us and them, in cleansing their hearts by faith.
10 पस, अब तुम शागिर्दों की गर्दन पर ऐसा जुआ रख कर जिसको न हमारे बाप दादा उठा सकते थे, न हम ख़ुदा को क्यूँ आज़माते हो?
"Now then, why are you tempting God by laying on the necks of these disciples a yoke which neither our forefathers nor we have been able to bear?
11 हालाँकि हम को यक़ीन है कि जिस तरह वो ख़ुदावन्द ईसा के फ़ज़ल ही से नजात पाएँगे, उसी तरह हम भी पाएँगे।
"On the contrary we believe that it is by the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ that we and they shall be saved."
12 फिर सारी जमा'अत चुप रही और पौलुस और बरनबास का बयान सुनने लगी, कि ख़ुदा ने उनके ज़रिए ग़ैर क़ौमों में कैसे कैसे निशान और अजीब काम ज़हिर किए।
Then the whole assembly remained silent, and listened to Barnabas and Saul as they told the signs and wonders which God had wrought among the Gentiles through them.
13 जब वो ख़ामोश हुए तो या'क़ूब कहने लगा कि, “ऐ भाइयों मेरी सुनो!”
When they had finished speaking, James said.
14 शमौन ने बयान किया कि ख़ुदा ने पहले ग़ैर क़ौमों पर किस तरह तवज्जह की ताकि उन में से अपने नाम की एक उम्मत बना ले।
"Brothers, listen to me. Symeon has told how God first looked graciously upon the Gentiles, to take out from among them a people to be called by his name.
15 और नबियों की बातें भी इस के मुताबिक़ हैं। चुनाँचे लिखा है कि।
"And this is in harmony with the language of the prophets, which says.
16 इन बातों के बाद मैं फिर आकर दाऊद के गिरे हुए खेमों को उठाऊँगा, और उस के फ़टे टूटे की मरम्मत करके उसे खड़ा करूँगा।
"After these things I will return, And I will rebuild David’s fallen tent; And I will build again its ruins, And I will set it up;
17 ताकि बाक़ी आदमी या'नी सब क़ौमें जो मेरे नाम की कहलाती हैं ख़ुदावन्द को तलाश करें'
"So that the rest of men may seek after the Lord, Even all the Gentiles, who are called by my name,
"Says the Lord, who has been making this known from the beginning of the world. (aiōn g165)
19 पस, मेरा फ़ैसला ये है, कि जो ग़ैर क़ौमों में से ख़ुदा की तरफ़ रुजू होते हैं हम उन्हें तकलीफ़ न दें।
"My judgment therefore, is against troubling those who turn to God from among the Gentiles;
20 मगर उन को लिख भेजें कि बुतों की मकरूहात और हरामकारी और गला घोंटे हुए जानवरों और लहू से परहेज़ करें।
"but that we should write to them to abstain from the pollution of idols and from fornication, from meat killed by strangling, and from blood.
21 क्यूँकि पुराने ज़माने से हर शहर में मूसा की तौरेत का ऐलान करने वाले होते चले आए हैं: और वो हर सबत को इबादतख़ानों में सुनाई जाती हैं।
"For Moses from the earliest times has had his preachers in every town where he is read aloud, Sabbath after Sabbath, in the synagogues."
22 इस पर रसूलों और बुज़ुर्गों ने सारी कलीसिया समेत मुनासिब जाना कि अपने में से चन्द शख़्स चुन कर पौलुस और बरनबास के साथ अन्ताकिया को भेजें, या'नी यहूदाह को जो बरसब्बा कहलाता है। और सीलास को ये शख़्स भाइयों में मुक़द्दम थे।
Then it seemed good to the apostles and the elders, together with the whole church, to select some of their number, and to send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas. The men chosen were Judas called Bar- Sabbas, and Silas, leading men among the brethren.
23 और उनके हाथ ये लिख भेजा कि “अन्ताकिया और सूरिया और किलकिया के रहने वाले भाइयों को जो ग़ैर क़ौमों में से हैं। रसूलों और बुज़ुर्ग भाइयों का सलाम पहूँचे।”
They took with them the following letter. "The apostles and older brothers send greeting to the Gentile Brotherhood throughout Antioch and Syria and Cilicia;
24 चूँकि हम ने सुना है, कि कुछ ने हम में से जिनको हम ने हुक्म न दिया था, वहाँ जाकर तुम्हें अपनी बातों से घबरा दिया। और तुम्हारे दिलों को उलट दिया।
"as we have heard that some of your number who went out from us have troubled you with words and upset your souls, without having received any such instruction from us;
25 इसलिए हम ने एक दिल होकर मुनासिब जाना कि कुछ चुने हुए आदमियों को अपने अज़ीज़ों बरनबास और पौलुस के साथ तुम्हारे पास भेजें।
"we have unanimously decided to select certain men, and to send them to you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul;
26 ये दोनों ऐसे आदमी हैं, जिन्होंने अपनी जानें हमारे ख़ुदावन्द ईसा मसीह के नाम पर निसार कर रख्खी हैं।
"men who have risked their very lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
27 चुनाँचे हम ने यहूदाह और सीलास को भेजा है, वो यही बातें ज़बानी भी बयान करेंगे।
"So we have sent Judas and Silas to tell you the same things by word of mouth.
28 क्यूँकि रूह — उल — क़ुद्दूस ने और हम ने मुनासिब जाना कि इन ज़रूरी बातों के सिवा तुम पर और बोझ न डालें
"For it has seemed good to the Holy Ghost and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things;
29 कि तुम बुतों की क़ुर्बानियों के गोश्त से और लहू और गला घोंटे हुए जानवरों और हरामकारी से परहेज़ करो। अगर तुम इन चीज़ों से अपने आप को बचाए रख्खोगे, तो सलामत रहोगे, वस्सलामत।
"that you abstain from food that has been sacrificed to idols, and from tasting blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication. Keep yourselves clear from these things and it will be well with you. Farewell."
30 पस, वो रुख़्सत होकर अन्ताकिया में पहुँचे और जमा'अत को इकट्ठा करके ख़त दे दिया।
So they, when they had been despatched, went down to Antioch, and after gathering the whole multitude together, they handed them the letter,
31 वो पढ़ कर उसके तसल्ली बख़्श मज़्मून से ख़ुश हुए।
and when they had read it they rejoiced at the comfort it brought.
32 और यहूदाह और सीलास ने जो ख़ुद भी नबी थे, भाइयों को बहुत सी नसीहत करके मज़बूत कर दिया।
And Judas and Silas, who were themselves prophets, encouraged and strengthened the brothers with many a good counsel.
33 वो चन्द रोज़ रह कर और भाइयों से सलामती की दुआ लेकर अपने भेजने वालों के पास रुख़्सत कर दिए गए।
After spending some time there the brothers let them go with a greeting of peace to those who had sent them.
34 [लेकिन सीलास को वहाँ ठहरना अच्छा लगा]।
Silas, however, stayed with them.
35 मगर पौलुस और बरनबास अन्ताकिया ही में रहे: और बहुत से और लोगों के साथ ख़ुदावन्द का कलाम सिखाते और उस का ऐलान करते रहे।
Paul and Barnabas also stayed in Antioch teaching and proclaiming the word of the Lord, in company with others.
36 चन्द रोज़ बाद पौलुस ने बरनबास से कहा “कि जिन जिन शहरों में हम ने ख़ुदा का कलाम सुनाया था, आओ फिर उन में चलकर भाइयों को देखें कि कैसे हैं।”
And after some days Paul said to Barnabas, "Let is go back and visit the brothers in every city in which we have proclaimed the word of the Lord. Let us see how they fare."
37 और बरनबास की सलाह थी कि यूहन्ना को जो मरकुस कहलाता है। अपने साथ ले चलें।
Now Barnabas wanted to take with them John, who was called Mark.
38 मगर पौलुस ने ये मुनासिब न जाना, कि जो शख़्स पम्फ़ीलिया में किनारा करके उस काम के लिए उनके साथ न गया था; उस को हमराह ले चलें।
But Paul thought it unwise to take with them one who had deserted them to the Pamphylia, and had not gone on with them to the work.
39 पस, उन में ऐसी सख़्त तकरार हुई; कि एक दूसरे से जुदा हो गए। और बरनबास मरकुस को ले कर जहाज़ पर कुप्रुस को रवाना हुआ।
So there arose a sharp irritation, so that they parted company; Barnabas taking Mark with him, sailed away to Cyprus;
40 मगर पौलुस ने सीलास को पसन्द किया, और भाइयों की तरफ़ से ख़ुदावन्द के फ़ज़ल के सुपुर्द हो कर रवाना किया।
while Paul chose Silas, and set forth commended by the brothers to the grace of God.
41 और कलीसिया को मज़बूत करता हुआ सूरिया और किलकिया से गुज़रा।
He went through Syria and Cilicia, strengthening the churches.
