1 यूहन्ना 1
1 उस ज़िन्दगी के कलाम के बारे में जो शुरू से था, और जिसे हम ने सुना और अपनी आँखों से देखा बल्कि, ग़ौर से देखा और अपने हाथों से छुआ।
That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have contemplated, and our hands have handled, concerning the living Word--
2 [ये ज़िन्दगी ज़ाहिर हुई और हम ने देखा और उसकी गवाही देते हैं, और इस हमेशा की ज़िन्दगी की तुम्हें ख़बर देते हैं जो बाप के साथ थी और हम पर ज़ाहिर हुई है]। (aiōnios g166)
(for the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and declare to you that life which is eternal, which was with the Father, and was manifested to us; ) (aiōnios g166)
3 जो कुछ हम ने देखा और सुना है तुम्हें भी उसकी ख़बर देते है, ताकि तुम भी हमारे शरीक हो, और हमारा मेल मिलाप बाप के साथ और उसके बेटे ईसा मसीह के साथ है।
that which we have seen and heard, we declare to you; that you also may have fellowship with us: and our fellowship truly is with the Father, and with his Son, Jesus Christ.
4 और ये बातें हम इसलिए लिखते है कि हमारी ख़ुशी पूरी हो जाए।
And these things we write to you, that your joy may be complete.
5 उससे सुन कर जो पैग़ाम हम तुम्हें देते हैं, वो ये है कि ख़ुदा नूर है और उसमें ज़रा भी तारीकी नहीं।
Moreover, this is the message which we have heard from him, and declare to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
6 अगर हम कहें कि हमारा उसके साथ मेल मिलाप है और फिर तारीकी में चलें, तो हम झूठे हैं और हक़ पर 'अमल नहीं करते।
If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and obey not the truth.
7 लेकिन जब हम नूर में चलें जिस तरह कि वो नूर में हैं, तो हमारा आपस में मेल मिलाप है, और उसके बेटे ईसा का ख़ून हमें तमाम गुनाह से पाक करता है।
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light; we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ the Son cleanses us from all sin.
8 अगर हम कहें कि हम बेगुनाह हैं तो अपने आपको धोखा देते हैं, और हम में सच्चाई नहीं।
If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 अगर अपने गुनाहों का इक़रार करें, तो वो हमारे गुनाहों को मु'आफ़ करने और हमें सारी नारास्ती से पाक करने में सच्चा और 'आदिल है।
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 अगर कहें कि हम ने गुनाह नहीं किया, तो उसे झूठा ठहराते हैं और उसका कलाम हम में नहीं है।
If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
