1 कुरिन्थियों 12
1 ऐ भाइयों! मैं नहीं चाहता कि तुम पाक रूह की ने'मतों के बारे में बेख़बर रहो।
And concerning spirituals, my brethren, I would have you know,
2 तुम जानते हो कि जब तुम ग़ैर क़ौम थे, तो गूँगे बुतों के पीछे जिस तरह कोई तुम को ले जाता था; उसी तरह जाते थे।
that ye have been pagans; and have been, without distinction, led away after idols, in which there is no speech.
3 पस मैं तुम्हें बताता हूँ कि जो कोई ख़ुदा के रूह की हिदायत से बोलता है; वो नहीं कहता कि ईसा मला'ऊन है; और न कोई रूह उल — क़ुद्दूस के बग़ैर कह सकता है कि ईसा ख़ुदावन्द है।
I therefore inform you, that there is no man, that speaketh by the Spirit of God, who saith that Jesus is accursed: neither can a man say that Jesus is the Lord, except by the Holy Spirit.
4 नेअ'मतें तो तरह तरह की हैं मगर रूह एक ही है।
Now there are diversities of gifts; but the Spirit is one.
5 और ख़िदमतें तो तरह तरह की हैं मगर ख़ुदावन्द एक ही है।
And there are diversities of ministrations; but the Lord is one.
6 और तासीरें भी तरह तरह की हैं मगर ख़ुदा एक ही है जो सब में हर तरह का असर पैदा करता है।
And there are diversities of energies; but God, who worketh all in all men, is one.
7 लेकिन हर शख़्स में पाक रूह का ज़ाहिर होना फ़ाइदा पहुँचाने के लिए होता है।
And to each man, there is given a manifestation of the Spirit, that it may aid him.
8 क्यूँकि एक को रूह के वसीले से हिक्मत का कलाम इनायत होता है और दूसरे को उसी रूह की मर्ज़ी के मुवाफ़िक़ इल्मियत का कलाम।
To one, by the Spirit, there is given a word of wisdom; and to another, by the same Spirit, there is given a word of knowledge:
9 किसी को उसी रूह से ईमान और किसी को उसी रूह से शिफ़ा देने की तौफ़ीक़।
to another, by the same Spirit, faith: to another, by the same Spirit, gifts of healing:
10 किसी को मोजिज़ों की क़ुदरत, किसी को नबुव्वत, किसी को रूहों का इम्तियाज़, किसी को तरह तरह की ज़बाने, किसी को ज़बानों का तर्जुमा करना।
and to another, miracles: and to another, prophecy: and to another, the discerning of spirits: and to another, divers kinds of tongues: and to another, the interpretation of tongues.
11 लेकिन ये सब तासीरें वही एक रूह करता है; और जिस को जो चाहता है बाँटता है,
But all these, worketh that one Spirit; and he distributeth to every one as he pleaseth.
12 क्यूँकि जिस तरह बदन एक है और उस के आ'ज़ा बहुत से हैं, और बदन के सब आ'ज़ा गरचे बहुत से हैं, मगर हमसब मिलकर एक ही बदन हैं; उसी तरह मसीह भी है।
For as the body is one, and in it are many members; and all those members of the body, though many, are one body; so also is the Messiah.
13 क्यूँकि हम सब में चाहे यहूदी हों, चाहे यूनानी, चाहे ग़ुलाम, चाहे आज़ाद, एक ही रूह के वसीले से एक बदन होने के लिए बपतिस्मा लिया और हम सब को एक ही रूह पिलाया गया।
For all of us, likewise, by one Spirit, have been baptized into one body, whether Jews or Gentiles, whether slaves or free; and all of us have drinked in one Spirit.
14 चुनाँचे बदन में एक ही आ'ज़ा नहीं बल्कि बहुत से हैं
For a body also, is not one member, but many.
15 अगर पाँव कहे चुँकि मैं हाथ नहीं इसलिए बदन का नहीं तो वो इस वजह से बदन से अलग तो नहीं।
For if the foot should say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it, on that account, not of the body?
16 और अगर कान कहे चुँकि मैं आँख नहीं इसलिए बदन का नहीं तो वो इस वजह से बदन से अलग तो नहीं।
Or if the ear should say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it, on that account, not of the body?
17 अगर सारा बदन आँख ही होता तो सुनना कहाँ होता? अगर सुनना ही सुनना होता तो सूँघना कहाँ होता?
And if the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? Or if it were all hearing, where would be the smelling?
18 मगर हक़ीक़त में ख़ुदा ने हर एक 'उज़्व को बदन में अपनी मर्ज़ी के मुवाफ़िक़ रख्खा है।
But now hath God placed every one of the members in the body, according to his pleasure.
19 अगर वो सब एक ही 'उज़्व होते तो बदन कहाँ होता?
And if they were all one member, where would be the body?
20 मगर अब आ'ज़ा तो बहुत हैं लेकिन बदन एक ही है।
But now they are many members, yet but one body.
21 पस आँख हाथ से नहीं कह सकती, “मैं तेरी मोहताज नहीं,” और न सिर पाँव से कह सकता है, “मैं तेरा मोहताज नहीं।”
The eye cannot say to the hand, Thou art not needful to me: nor can the head say to the feet, Ye are not needful to me.
22 बल्कि बदन के वो आ'ज़ा जो औरों से कमज़ोर मा'लूम होते हैं बहुत ही ज़रूरी हैं।
But rather, those members which are accounted feeble, are indispensable.
23 और बदन के वो आ'ज़ा जिन्हें हम औरों की तरह ज़लील जानते हैं उन्हीं को ज़्यादा इज़्ज़त देते हैं और हमारे नाज़ेबा आ'ज़ा बहुत ज़ेबा हो जाते हैं।
And those which we think dishonorable in the body, on them we heap more honor; and those that are uncomely, on them we put the more decoration.
24 हालाँकि हमारे ज़ेबा आ'ज़ा मोहताज नहीं मगर ख़ुदा ने बदन को इस तरह मुरक्कब किया है, कि जो 'उज़्व मोहताज है उसी को ज़्यादा 'इज़्ज़त दी जाए।
For the honorable members in us, have no need of honor: for God hath tempered the body, and given more honor to the member which is inferior;
25 ताकि बदन में जुदाई न पड़े, बल्कि आ'ज़ा एक दूसरे की बराबर फ़िक्र रख्खें।
that there might be no disunion in the body, but that all the members, equally, might care for one another;
26 पस अगर एक 'उज़्व दुःख पाता है तो सब आ'ज़ा उस के साथ दुःख पाते हैं।
so that, when one member is in pain, they will all sympathize; and if one member is exalted, all the members will be exalted.
27 इसी तरह तुम मिल कर मसीह का बदन हो और फ़र्दन आ'ज़ा हो।
Now ye are the body of Messiah, and members in your place.
28 और ख़ुदा ने कलीसिया में अलग अलग शख़्स मुक़र्रर किए पहले रसूल दूसरे नबी तीसरे उस्ताद फिर मोजिज़े दिखाने वाले फिर शिफ़ा देने वाले मददगार मुन्तज़िम तरह तरह की ज़बाने बोलने वाले।
For God hath placed in his church, first, legates; after them, prophets; after them, teachers; after them, workers of miracles; after them, the gifts of healing, and helpers, and leaders, and various kinds of tongues.
29 क्या सब रसूल हैं? क्या सब नबी हैं? क्या सब उस्ताद हैं? क्या सब मोजिज़े दिखानेवाले हैं?
Are they all legates? Are they all prophets? Are they all teachers? Are they all workers of miracles?
30 क्या सब को शिफ़ा देने की ताक़त हासिल हुई? क्या सब तरह की ज़बाने बोलते हैं? क्या सब तर्जुमा करते हैं?
Have all of them the gifts of healing? Do they all speak with tongues? Or do they all interpret?
31 तुम बड़ी से बड़ी ने'मत की आरज़ू रख्खो, लेकिन और भी सब से उम्दा तरीक़ा तुम्हें बताता हूँ।
And if ye are emulous of the superior gifts, on the other hand, I show to you a better way.
