1 और इस्राईल के पहलौठे रूबिन के बेटे क्यूँकि वह उसका पहलौठा था, लेकिन इसलिए की उसने अपने बाप के बिछौने को नापाक किया था उसके पहलौठे होने का हक़ इस्राईल के यूसुफ़ की औलाद को दिया गया, ताकि नसबनामा पहलौठे पन के मुताबिक़ न हो।
And the sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel (for he was the firstborn, but, inasmuch as he defiled his father's couch, his birthright was given to the sons of Joseph the son of Israel, and so the genealogy is not to be reckoned after the birthright.
2 क्यूँकि यहूदाह अपने भाइयों से ताक़तवर हो गया और सरदार उसी में से निकला लेकिन पहलौठे का यूसुफ़ का हुआ
Now Judah prevailed above his brothers, and the ruler came from him, but the birthright was Joseph's),
3 इसलिए इस्राईल के पहलौठे रूबिन के बेटे यह हैं: हनूक और फ़ल्लू और हसरोन और कर्मी।
the sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel: Hanoch, and Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi.
4 योएल के बेटे यह हैं: उसका बेटा समा'याह, सम'याह का बेटा जूज, जूज का बेटा सिम'ई।
The sons of Joel: Shemaiah his son, Gog his son, Shimei his son,
5 सिम'ई का बेटा मीकाह, मीकाह का बेटा रियायाह, रियायाह का बेटा बा'ल।
Micah his son, Reaiah his son, Baal his son,
6 बा'ल का बेटा बईरा जिसको असूर का बादशाह तिलगातपिलनासर ग़ुलाम कर के ले गया। वह रूबीनियों का सरदार था।
Beerah his son, whom Tilgath-pilneser king of Assyria carried away captive. He was ruler of the Reubenites.
7 और उसके भाई अपने अपने घराने के मुताबिक़ जब उनकी औलाद का नसब नामा लिख्खा गया था, सरदार य'ईएल और ज़करियाह,
And his brothers by their families, when the genealogy of their generations was reckoned: the chief, Jeiel, and Zechariah,

and Bela the son of Azaz, the son of Shema, the son of Joel, who dwelt in Aroer, even to Nebo and Baal-meon.

And eastward he dwelt even to the entrance of the wilderness from the river Euphrates, because their cattle were multiplied in the land of Gilead.
10 और साऊल के दिनों में उन्होंने हाजिरियों से लड़ाई की जो उनके हाथ से क़त्ल हुए, और वह जिल'आद के पूरब के सारे 'इलाक़े में उनके डेरों में बस गए।
And in the days of Saul they made war with the Hagrites, who fell by their hand, and they dwelt in their tents throughout all the land east of Gilead.

And the sons of Gad dwelt opposite them, in the land of Bashan to Salecah:

Joel the chief, and Shapham the second, and Janai, and Shaphat in Bashan.

And their brothers of their fathers' houses: Michael, and Meshullam, and Sheba, and Jorai, and Jacan, and Zia, and Eber, seven.
14 यह बनी अबीख़ैल बिन हूरी बिन यारूआह बिन जिल'आद बिन मीकाएल बिन यमीसी बिन यहदू बिन बूज़ थे।
These were the sons of Abihail, the son of Huri, the son of Jaroah, the son of Gilead, the son of Michael, the son of Jeshishai, the son of Jahdo, the son of Buz.
15 अख़ी बिन 'अबदिएल बिन जूनी इनके आबाई ख़ानदानों का सरदार था।
Ahi the son of Abdiel, the son of Guni, was chief of their fathers' houses.
16 और वह बसन में जिल'आद और उसके क़स्बों और शारून की सारे 'इलाक़ा में, जहाँ तक उनकी हद्द थी, बसे हुए थे।
And they dwelt in Gilead in Bashan, and in its towns, and in all the suburbs of Sharon, as far as their borders.
17 यहूदाह के बादशाह यूताम के दिनों में, और इस्राईल के बादशाह युरब'आम के दिनों में उन सभों के नाम उनके नसबनामों के मुताबिक़ लिखे गए।
All these were reckoned by genealogies in the days of Jotham king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam king of Israel.
18 और बनी रूबिन और जद्दियों और मनस्सी के आधे क़बीले में सूर्मा, या'नी ऐसे लोग जो सिपर और तेग़ उठाने के क़ाबिल और तीरअन्दाज़ और जंग आज़मूदा थे, चौवालीस हज़ार सात सौ साठ थे जो जंग पर जाने के लायक़ थे।
The sons of Reuben, and the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh, of valiant men, men able to bear buckler and sword, and to shoot with bow, and skilful in war, were forty-four thousand seven hundred and sixty, who were able to go forth to war.
19 यह हजिरियों और यतूर और नफ़ीस और नोदब से लड़े।
And they made war with the Hagrites, with Jetur, and Naphish, and Nodab.
20 और उनसे मुक़ाबिला करने के लिए मदद पायी, और हाजिरी और सब जो उनके साथ थे उनके हवाले किए गए क्यूँकि उन्होंने लड़ाई में ख़ुदा से दुआ की और उनकी दुआ क़ुबूल हुई, इसलिए की उन्होंने उस पर भरोसा रख्खा।
And they were helped against them, and the Hagrites were delivered into their hand, and all that were with them, for they cried to God in the battle, and he was entreated by them because they put their trust in him.
21 और वह उनकी मवेसी ले गए; उनके ऊँटों में से पचास हज़ार और भेड़ बकरियों में से ढाई लाख और गधों में से दो हज़ार और आदमियों में से एक लाख।
And they took away their cattle: of their camels fifty thousand, and of sheep two hundred and fifty thousand, and of donkeys two thousand, and of men a hundred thousand.
22 क्यूँकि बहुत से लोग क़त्ल हुए इसलिए की जंग ख़ुदा की थी और वह ग़ुलामी के वक़्त तक उनकी जगह बसे रहे।
For there fell many slain, because the war was of God. And they dwelt in their stead until the captivity.
23 और मनस्सी के आधे क़बीले के लोग मुल्क में बसे। वह बसन से बा'लहरमून और सनीर और हरमून के पहाड़ तक फैल गए।
And the sons of the half-tribe of Manasseh dwelt in the land. They increased from Bashan to Baal-hermon and Senir and mount Hermon.
24 उनके आबाई ख़ानदानों के सरदार यह थे: 'इफ़्र और यिस'ई और इलीएल, 'अज़रिएल, यरमियाह और हुदावियाह और यहदएल, जो ताक़तवर सूर्मा और नामवर और अपने आबाई ख़ानदानों के सरदार थे।
And these were the heads of their fathers' houses: even Epher, and Ishi, and Eliel, and Azriel, and Jeremiah, and Hodaviah, and Jahdiel, mighty men of valor, famous men, heads of their fathers' houses.
25 और उन्होंने अपने बाप दादा के ख़ुदा की हुक्म 'उदूली की, और जिस मुल्क के बाशिंदों को ख़ुदा ने उनके सामने से हलाक किया था, उन ही के मा'बूदों की पैरवी में उन्होंने ज़िनाकारी की।
And they trespassed against the God of their fathers, and played the harlot after the gods of the peoples of the land, whom God destroyed before them.
26 तब इस्राईल के ख़ुदा ने असूर के बादशाह पूल के दिल को और असूर के बादशाह तिलगातपिलनासर के दिल को उभारा, और वह उनकी या'नी रूबिनियों और जद्दियों और मनस्सी के आधे क़बीले को ग़ुलाम कर के ले गए और उनको ख़लह और ख़ाबूर और हारा और जौज़ान की नदी तक ले आये; यह आज के दिन तक वहीं हैं।
And the God of Israel stirred up the spirit of Pul king of Assyria, and the spirit of Tilgath-pilneser king of Assyria, and he carried them away, even the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh, and brought them to Halah, and Habor, and Hara, and to the river of Gozan to this day.
