Захарія 1
1 Восьмого місяця другого року Да́рія було́ Господнє слово до пророка Заха́рія, сина Берехії, сина Іддового, таке:
In the eiythe monethe, in the secounde yeer of Darius, the word of the Lord was maad to Sacarie, the sone of Barachie, the sone of Addo,
2 „Розгні́вався Господь на батьків ваших палю́чим гнівом.
profete, and seide, The Lord is wrooth on youre fadris with wrathfulnesse.
3 І скажи їм: Так говорить Госпо́дь Савао́т: Верні́ться до Мене, — говорить Господь Саваот, — і верну́ся до вас, говорить Господь Саваот.
And thou schalt seie to hem, The Lord of oostis seith these thingis. Be ye conuertid to me, seith the Lord of oostis, and Y schal be conuertid to you, seith the Lord of oostis.
4 Не будьте, як ваші батьки́, що до них кли́кали стародавні пророки, говорячи: Так говорить Господь Саваот: Верніться з доріг ваших злих і з чи́нів ваших лихих! Та не слуха́ли ви й не прислуха́лись до Мене, говорить Господь.
Be ye not as youre fadris, to whiche the formere profetis crieden, seiynge, The Lord of oostis seith these thingis, Be ye conuertid fro youre yuel weies, and youre worste thouytis; and thei herden not, nether token tent to me, seith the Lord of oostis.
5 Де вони, батьки ваші? А пророки — чи ж наві́ки живуть?
Where ben youre fadris and profetis? whether thei schulen lyue with outen ende?
6 Та слова́ Мої й постано́ви Мої, що Я наказа́в рабам Моїм пророкам, чи ж не досягли́ вони до ваших батькі́в? І вернулись вони та й сказали: Як заду́мав Господь Саваот зробити нам за нашими дорогами й за нашими чинами, так зробив Він із нами“.
Netheles my wordis and my lawful thingis, whiche Y comaundide to my seruauntis profetis, whether thei tauyten not youre fadris? And thei weren conuertid, and seiden, As the Lord of oostys thouyte for to do to vs bi oure weies, and bi oure fyndingis he dide to vs.
7 Двадцятого й четвертого дня, одина́дцятого місяця, — це місяць шеват, — за другого року Да́рія було слово Господнє до пророка Заха́рія, сина Берехії сина Іддового, таке:
In the foure and twentithe dai of the enleuenthe monethe Sabath, in the secounde yeer of Darius, the word of the Lord was maad to Sacarie, sone of Barachie, sone of Addo,
8 „Бачив я цієї но́чі, аж ось на черво́ному коні їде муж, і він стоїть між ми́ртами, що в глибині, а за ним ко́ні черво́ні, руді́ та білі.
profete, and seide, Y saiy bi niyt, and lo! a man stiynge on a reed hors; and he stood bitwixe places where mirtis wexen, that weren in the depthe, and aftir hym weren horsis reede, dyuerse, and white.
9 І сказав я: „Що́ це, мій пане?“І відказав мені той ангол, що говорив зо мною: „Я тобі покажу́, що́ це таке“.
And Y seide, My lord, who ben these? And an aungel of the Lord seide to me, that spak in me, Y schal schewe to thee what these ben.
10 І відповів той муж, що стояв між ми́ртами, та й сказав: „Це ті, що Господь їх послав обійти́ землю“.
And the man that stood bitwix places where mirtis wexen, answeride, and seide, These it ben, whiche the Lord sente, that thei walke thorouy erthe.
11 І відповіли́ вони Господньому анголові, що стояв між ми́ртами, та й сказали: „Перейшли ми землю, і ось уся земля сидить спокі́йно“.
And thei answeriden to the aungel of the Lord, that stood bitwixe places where mirtis wexen, and seiden, We han walkid thorouy erthe, and lo! al erthe is enhabitid, and restith.
12 І відповів ангол Господній та й сказав: „Го́споди Савао́те, аж до́ки Ти не змилосе́рдишся над Єрусалимом та над Юдиними міста́ми, на які Ти гніваєшся оце сімдеся́т літ?“
And the aungel of the Lord answeride, and seide, Lord of oostis, hou long schalt thou not haue merci on Jerusalem, and citees of Juda, to whiche thou art wrooth? This now is the seuentithe yeer.
13 І відповів Господь анголові, що говорив зо мною, слова́ добрі, слова́ вті́шливі.
And the Lord answeride to the aungel, that spak in me, goode wordis, and wordis of coumfort.
14 І сказав до мене той ангол, що говорив зо мною: „Клич, говорячи: Так говорить Господь Саваот: Піклуюся Я про Єрусалим та про Сіон великим піклува́нням.
And the aungel that spak in me, seide to me, Crie thou, seiynge, The Lord of oostis seith these thingis, Y louyde Jerusalem and Sion in greet feruour;
15 І гнівом великим Я гніваюся на ті спокі́йні наро́ди, на яких Я мало гнівався, а вони допомогли́ злому.
and in greet wraththe Y schal be wroth on riche folkis; for Y was wrooth a litil, forsothe thei helpiden in to yuel.
16 Тому так промовляє Господь: Вернуся Я до Єрусалиму з милосердям, храм Мій буде збудо́ваний у ньому, — говорить Госпо́дь Савао́т, — а мірни́чий шнур буде розтя́гнений над Єрусалимом.
Therfor the Lord seith these thingis, Y schal turne ayen to Jerusalem in mercies. Myn hous schal be bildid in it, seith the Lord of oostis; and a plomet schal be streiyt out on Jerusalem.
17 Ще клич та й скажи: Так говорить Господь Саваот: Знов добром перепо́вняться міста́ Мої, і Господь ще поті́шить Сіона, і ще ви́бере Єрусалима!“
Yit crie thou, seiynge, The Lord of oostis seith these thingis, Yit my citees schulen flete with goodis, and yit the Lord schal coumforte Sion, and yit he schal chese Jerusalem.
18 І звів я очі свої, та й побачив, аж ось чотири ро́ги.
And Y reiside myn iyen, and Y saiy, and lo! foure hornes.
19 І запита́в я ангола, що говорив зо мною: „Що́ це?“А він відказав мені: „Це ті ро́ги, що розпоро́шили Юду й Ізраїля та Єрусалим“.
And Y seide to the aungel that spak in me, What ben these? And he seide to me, These ben hornes, that wyndewiden Juda, and Israel, and Jerusalem.
20 І Господь показав мені чотирьох майстрів.
And the Lord schewide to me foure smythis.
21 І запитав я: „Що́ вони приходять зробити?“А Він відказав, говорячи: „Це ті ро́ги, що розпоро́шили Юду, так що ніхто не підвів голови́. А ці прийшли́ настраши́ти їх, щоб скинути ро́ги тих наро́дів, що підносять ро́га проти Юдиного кра́ю, щоб його розпоро́шити“.
And Y seide, What comen these for to do? Which spak, seiynge, These ben the hornes, that wyndewiden Juda bi alle men, and no man of hem reiside his heed; and these camen for to make hem aferd, that thei caste doun the hornes of hethene men, which reisiden horn on the lond of Juda, for to scatere it.
