До римлян 5
1 Отож, ви́правдавшись вірою, майте мир із Богом через Господа нашого Ісуса Христа,
Therefore, because we are justified by faith, we shall have peace with God, through our Lord Jesus Messiah.
2 через Якого ми вірою одержали доступ до тієї благода́ті, що в ній стоїмо́, і хва́лимось наді́єю слави Божої.
By whom we are brought by faith into this grace, in which we stand and rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.
3 І не тільки нею, але й хвалимося в утисках, знаючи, що утиски приносять терпели́вість,
And not only so, but we also rejoice in afflictions; because we know that affliction perfecteth in us patience;
4 а терпеливість — до́свід, а досвід — надію,
and patience, experience; and experience, hope:
5 а надія не засоро́мить, бо любов Божа вилилася в наші серця Святим Духом, даним нам.
and hope maketh not ashamed because the love of God is diffused in our hearts, by the Holy Spirit who is given to us.
6 Бо Христос, коли ми були́ ще недужі, своєї пори помер за нечестивих.
And if at this time, on account of our weakness, Messiah died for the ungodly:
7 Бо навряд чи помре хто за праведника, ще бо за доброго може хто й відважиться вмерти.
(for rarely doth one die for the ungodly; though for the good, some one perhaps might venture to die: )
8 А Бог дово́дить Свою любов до нас тим, що Христос умер за нас, коли ми були́ ще грішниками.
God hath here manifested his love towards us. Because, if when we were sinners, Messiah died for us;
9 Тож тим більше спасемося Ним від гніву тепер, коли кров'ю Його ми ви́правдані.
how much more, shall we now be justified by his blood and be rescued from wrath by him?
10 Бо коли ми, бувши ворогами, примирилися з Богом через смерть Сина Його, то тим більше, примирившися, спасе́мося життя́м Його.
For if when we were enemies, God was reconciled with us by the death of his Son; how much more shall we, in his reconciliation, lived by his life?
11 І не тільки це, але й хва́лимося в Бозі через Господа нашого Ісуса Христа, що через Нього оде́ржали ми тепер прими́рення.
And not only so, but we also rejoice in God, by means of our Lord Jesus Messiah, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.
12 Тому́ то, як через одно́го чоловіка ввійшов до світу гріх, а гріхом смерть, так прийшла й смерть в усіх людей через те, що всі згрішили.
As by means of one man, sin entered into the world, and, by means of sin, death; and so death passed upon all the sons of men, inasmuch as they all have sinned:
13 Гріх бо був у світі й до Зако́ну, але гріх не ста́виться в прови́ну, коли немає Зако́ну.
For until the law, sin, although it was in the world, was not accounted sin, because there was no law.
14 Та смерть панувала від Ада́ма аж до Мойсея і над тими, хто не згрішив, подібно переступу Ада́ма, який є образ майбу́тнього.
Yet death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over those who had not sinned after the likeness of the transgression of the command by Adam, who was the type of him that was to come.
15 Але не такий дар благода́ті, як пере́ступ. Бо коли за пере́ступ одно́го померло багато, то тим більш благода́ть Божа й дар через благода́ть однієї Люди́ни, Ісуса Христа, щедро спливли́ на багатьох.
But not, as the fault, so also the free gift. For if, on account of the fault of one, many died; how much more, will the grace of God and his free gift, on account of one man, Jesus Messiah, abound unto many?
16 І дар не такий, як те, що сталось від одно́го, що згрішив; бо суд за оди́н про́гріх — на о́суд, а дар благода́ті — на ви́правдання від багатьох про́гріхів.
And not, as the offence of one, so also the free gift. For the judgment, which was of one offence, was unto condemnation; but the free gift was, of many sins, unto righteousness.
17 Бо коли за пере́ступ одно́го смерть панувала через одно́го, то тим більше ті, хто приймає рясноту́ благода́ті й дар праведности, запанують у житті через одно́го Ісуса Христа.
For if, on account of the offence of one, death reigned; still more, they who receive the abundance of the grace, and the free gift, and the righteousness, will reign in life, by means of one, Jesus Messiah.
18 Ось тому́, як через пере́ступ одно́го на всіх людей прийшов о́суд, так і через праведність Одно́го прийшло ви́правдания для життя на всіх людей.
Therefore, as on account of the offence of one, condemnation was to all men; so on account of the righteousness of one, will the victory unto life be to all men.
19 Бо як через непо́слух одно́го чоловіка багато-хто стали грішними, так і через по́слух Одно́го багато-хто стануть праведними.
For as; on account of the disobedience of one man, many became sinners; so also, on account of the obedience of one, many become righteous.
20 Зако́н же прийшов, щоб збільши́вся пере́ступ. А де збільши́вся гріх, там зарясніла благодать,
And the entrance given to the law, was that sin might increase: and where sin increased, there grace abounded.
