Псалми 89
1 Навчальна пісня Ета́на езрахе́янина. Про милості Господа буду співати пові́ки, я буду звіща́ти уста́ми своїми про вірність Твою з роду в рід!
Maschil of Ethan the Ezrahite. I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.
2 Бо я був сказав: „Буде наві́ки збудо́вана милість, а небо — Ти вірність Свою встановля́єш на нім“.
For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy faithfulness shalt thou establish in the very heavens.
3 „Я склав заповіта з вибра́нцем Своїм, присягнув Я Давидові, Моєму рабо́ві:
I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant,
4 Встановлю́ Я наві́ки насі́ння твоє, а твій трон Я збудую на вічні віки́“! (Се́ла)
Thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations. (Selah)
5 І небо хвалитиме, Господи, чудо Твоє, також вірність Твою на зібра́нні святих,
And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O LORD: thy faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints.
6 бо хто в небі поді́бний до Господа? Хто подібний до Господа серед Божих синів?
For who in the heaven can be compared unto the LORD? [who] among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the LORD?
7 Бог дуже страшни́й у зібра́нні святих, і грізни́й Він на ці́ле довкі́лля Своє!
God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all [them that are] about him.
8 Господи, Боже Саваоте, — хто си́льний, як Ти, Господи? А вірність Твоя — на довкі́ллі Твоїм!
O LORD God of hosts, who [is] a strong LORD like unto thee? or to thy faithfulness round about thee?
9 Ти пануєш над силою моря, коли підіймаються хви́лі, Ти їх втихоми́рюєш.
Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them.
10 Ти стиснув Рага́ва, як трупа, і сильним раме́ном Своїм розпоро́шив Своїх ворогів.
Thou hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain; thou hast scattered thine enemies with thy strong arm.
11 Твої небеса́, Твоя теж земля, вселе́нна і все, що на ній, — Ти їх заложив!
The heavens [are] thine, the earth also [is] thine: [as for] the world and the fulness thereof, thou hast founded them.
12 Північ та південє — Ти їх створив, Фаво́р та Хермо́н співають про Йме́ння Твоє.
The north and the south thou hast created them: Tabor and Hermon shall rejoice in thy name.
13 Могутнє раме́но Твоє, рука Твоя си́льна, висока прави́ця Твоя!
Thou hast a mighty arm: strong is thy hand, [and] high is thy right hand.
14 Справедливість та право — підста́ва престо́лу Твого, милість та правда — обличчя Твоє випере́джують!
Justice and judgment [are] the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.
15 Блаже́нний наро́д, що знає він поклик святковий, — Господи, вони ходять у світлі обличчя Твого!
Blessed [is] the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance.
16 Радіють вони цілий день Твоїм Іменням, і підви́щуються Твоєю справедливістю,
In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted.
17 бо окра́са їхньої сили — то Ти, а Твоєю зичли́вістю ріг наш підно́ситься,
For thou [art] the glory of their strength: and in thy favour our horn shall be exalted.
18 бо щит наш — Господній, а цар наш — від Святого Ізраїлевого!
For the LORD [is] our defence; and the Holy One of Israel [is] our king.
19 Тоді богобійним Своїм про мовляв Ти в об'я́вленні та говорив: „Я поклав допомогу на сильного, Я вибра́нця підніс із наро́ду:
Then thou spakest in vision to thy holy one, and saidst, I have laid help upon [one that is] mighty; I have exalted [one] chosen out of the people.
20 знайшов Я Давида, Свого раба, — Я його намасти́в Своєю святою оливою,
I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:
21 щоб із ним була си́льна рука Моя, а раме́но Моє вміцни́ло його́!
With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him.
22 Ворог на нього не нападе́, а син беззаконня не буде його переслі́дувати,
The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him.
23 — його ворогів поб'ю́ перед обличчям його, і вда́рю його ненави́сників!
And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him.
24 Із ним Моя вірність та милість Моя, а Йме́нням Моїм його ріг піднесе́ться, —
But my faithfulness and my mercy [shall be] with him: and in my name shall his horn be exalted.
25 і Я покладу́ його ру́ку на море, і на рі́ки — прави́цю його.
I will set his hand also in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers.
26 Він Мене буде звати: „Отець Ти мій, Бог мій, і скеля спасі́ння мого́!“
He shall cry unto me, Thou [art] my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.
27 Я вчиню́ його теж перворі́дним, найвищим над зе́мних царів.
Also I will make him [my] firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth.
28 Свою милість для нього наві́ки схова́ю, і Мій заповіт йому вірний,
My mercy will I keep for him for evermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him.
29 і насіння його покладу́ Я наві́ки, а трона його — як дні неба!
His seed also will I make [to endure] for ever, and his throne as the days of heaven.
30 Коли ж його діти покинуть Зако́на Мого, і не будуть держа́тись нака́зів Моїх,
If his children forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments;
31 коли ізнева́жать Мої постано́ви, і не бу́дуть держатись нака́зів Моїх,
If they break my statutes, and keep not my commandments;
32 тоді па́лицею навіщу́ їхню прови́ну, та пора́зами — їхнє беззако́ння!
Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.
33 А ласки Своєї від ньо́го Я не заберу́, і не зра́джу його в Своїй вірності,
Nevertheless my lovingkindness will I not utterly take from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to fail.
34 не збезче́щу Свого заповіту, а що́ було з уст Моїх вийшло, того не зміню́!
My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.
35 Одне в Своїй святості Я присягнув, — не пові́м Я неправди Давидові:
Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David.
36 повік буде насі́ння його, а престол його передо Мною — як сонце,
His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me.
37 як місяць, він буде стояти пові́ки, і Сві́док на хмарі — правди́вий“. (Се́ла)
It shall be established for ever as the moon, and [as] a faithful witness in heaven. (Selah)
38 А Ти опустив та обри́див, розгнівався Ти на Свого пома́занця, —
But thou hast cast off and abhorred, thou hast been wroth with thine anointed.
39 Ти неважливим зробив запові́та Свого раба, Ти скинув на землю корону його́,
Thou hast made void the covenant of thy servant: thou hast profaned his crown [by casting it] to the ground.
40 всю горо́жу його полама́в, тверди́ні його оберну́в на руїну!
Thou hast broken down all his hedges; thou hast brought his strong holds to ruin.
41 Всі грабують його, хто прохо́дить дорогою, — він став для сусідів своїх посміхо́вищем.
All that pass by the way spoil him: he is a reproach to his neighbours.
42 Підніс Ти правицю його переслі́дувачів, усіх його ворогів Ти поті́шив,
Thou hast set up the right hand of his adversaries; thou hast made all his enemies to rejoice.
43 і Ти відвернув вістря ша́блі його, у війні ж не підтри́мав його.
Thou hast also turned the edge of his sword, and hast not made him to stand in the battle.
44 Ти слави позбавив його, а трона його повалив був на землю,
Thou hast made his glory to cease, and cast his throne down to the ground.
45 скоротив Ти був дні його мо́лодости, розтягнув над ним сором! (Се́ла)
The days of his youth hast thou shortened: thou hast covered him with shame. (Selah)
46 Доки, Господи, бу́деш хова́тись наза́вжди, доки буде палати Твій гнів, як огонь?
How long, LORD? wilt thou hide thyself for ever? shall thy wrath burn like fire?
47 Пам'ятай же про мене, — яка довгота́ життя лю́дського? Для чого створив Ти всіх лю́дських синів на ніщо́?
Remember how short my time is: wherefore hast thou made all men in vain?
48 Котри́й чоловік буде жити, а смерти не ба́читиме, збереже свою душу від сили шео́лу? (Се́ла) (Sheol h7585)
What man [is he that] liveth, and shall not see death? shall he deliver his soul from the hand of the grave? (Selah) (Sheol h7585)
49 Де Твої перші милості, Господи, що їх присягав Ти Давидові у Своїй вірності?
Lord, where [are] thy former lovingkindnesses, [which] thou swarest unto David in thy truth?
50 Згадай, Господи, про га́ньбу рабів Своїх, яку я ношу́ в своїм лоні від усіх великих наро́дів,
Remember, Lord, the reproach of thy servants; [how] I do bear in my bosom [the reproach of] all the mighty people;
51 якою Твої вороги зневажають, о Господи, і кроки Твого́ помазанця безславлять!
Wherewith thine enemies have reproached, O LORD; wherewith they have reproached the footsteps of thine anointed.
52 Благослове́нний навіки Господь! Амі́нь і амі́нь!
Blessed [be] the LORD for evermore. Amen, and Amen.
