Псалми 83
1 Пісня. Псалом Аса́фів. Боже, не будь мовчазни́м, не мовчи, і не будь Ти спокійним, о Боже, —
A song, [or] Psalm of Asaph. Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God.
2 бо ось зашуміли Твої вороги́, а Твої ненави́сники го́лови попідійма́ли!
For lo, thy enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.
3 Вони проти народу Твого хитрий за́дум видумують, і нара́джуються проти тих, кого Ти береже́ш!
They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.
4 Вони кажуть: „Ходіть но, та знищимо їх з-між наро́дів, - і згадуватись більш не буде іме́ння Ізраїля!“
They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from [being] a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
5 Бо вони одноду́шно нара́дилися, проти Тебе умови склада́ють, —
For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee,
6 намети Едо́ма й ізмаїльтя́н, Моа́в та агаря́ни,
The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;
7 Ґева́л і Аммо́н, і Амали́к, Филисте́я з мешка́нцями Ти́ру.
Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;
8 І Ашшу́р поєднався був з ними, — вони синам Ло́товим стали раме́ном. (Се́ла)
Assur also is joined with them: they have helped the children of Lot. (Selah)
9 Зроби їм, як Мідія́нові, як Сісе́рі, як Явінові в долині Кішо́н, —
Do to them as [to] the Midianites; as [to] Sisera, as [to] Jabin, at the brook of Kison:
10 при Ен-До́рі вони були зни́щені, стали погно́єм землі!
[Who] perished at En-dor: they became [as] dung for the earth.
11 Поклади їх та їхніх вельмож, як Оре́ва, й як Зе́ева, й як Зе́ваха, й як Цалму́нну, усіх їхніх князі́в,
Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yes, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna:
12 що казали були́: „Візьмі́мо на спа́док для себе поме́шкання Боже“!
Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession.
13 Боже мій, — бодай стали вони, немов по́рох у вихрі, як солома на вітрі!
O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind.
14 Як огонь па́лить ліс, й як запалює полу́м'я го́ри,
As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire;
15 так Ти їх пожени Своїм ви́хром, і настра́ш Своєю бурею!
So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm.
16 Напо́вни обличчя їхнє со́ромом, і хай шукають вони Твоє Ймення, о Господи!
Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O LORD.
17 Нехай будуть вони засоро́млені, й за́вжди хай будуть настра́шені, і хай застида́ються, й хай вони зги́нуть!
Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yes, let them be put to shame, and perish:
18 І нехай вони знають, що Ти, — Твоє Ймення Госпо́дь, Сам Ти, Всевишній, на цілій землі!
That [men] may know that thou, whose name alone [is] JEHOVAH, [art] the most high over all the earth.
