Псалми 64

1 Для дириґента хору. Псалом Давидів. Вислухай, Боже, мій голос, як ска́ржуся я, від стра́ху ворожого душу мою хорони!

Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy.

2 Заховай мене від потає́много збору злочинців, від крику сваві́льців,

Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:

3 які нагостри́ли свого язика́, як меча, натягнули стрілу́ свою словом гірки́м,

Who sharpen their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words:

4 щоб таємно стріляти в невинного, — вони нагло стріля́тимуть в нього, і не бу́дуть боятись!

That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.

5 У злій справі зміцня́ють себе, змовля́ються па́стки таємно розста́вити, кажуть: „Хто бу́де їх бачити?“

They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privately; they say, Who shall see them?

6 Вони кривди ховають. Загинемо, як за́дум їхній спо́вниться, бо нутро́ чоловіка та серце — глибоке!

They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep.

7 Але́ вчинить Бог, що стріла́ на них стрі́лить, — і на́гло пора́нені будуть,

But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded.

8 і вчинить, що їхній язик допаде́ться до них, — і будуть хита́ти головою усі, хто спогля́не на них!

So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away.

9 І всі люди боятися будуть, і будуть розказувати про чин Бога, і ді́ло Його зрозуміють!

And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of his doing.

10 І праведний Господом бу́де раді́ти, і буде вдава́тись до Нього, і бу́дуть похва́лені всі простосе́рді!

The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.
