Псалми 60
1 Для дириґента хору. На спів: „Лілея свідчення“. Золотий псалом Давидів для навча́ння, коли він підпалив був Ара́м двох річо́к і Ара́м Цови́, і коли вернувся Йоав і побив Едо́ма в Соляній долині, дванадцять тисяч. Боже, покинув Ти нас, розпоро́шив Ти нас, Ти нагні́вався був, — поверни́ся ж до нас!
“To the chief musician upon Shushan'eduth, a Michtham of David, to teach, When he fought with Aram-naharayim, and with Aram-zobah, and Joab returned, and smote of Edom in the Salt Valley twelve thousand [men].” O God, thou hast cast us off, thou hast made a breach in us, thou hast been displeased: restore now unto us [thy favor].
2 Ти землею затряс, і її розірвав, — уздоров же ула́мки її, бо вона захита́лась!
Thou hast caused the earth to quake; thou hast split it: heal her breaches; for she is moved.
3 Ти вчинив, що наро́д Твій побачив тяжке́, напоїв нас отру́тним вином.
Thou hast caused thy people to see hard things: thou hast made us to drink the wine of confusion.
4 Ти дав пра́пора тим, хто боїться Тебе, щоб збирались вони перед правдою. (Се́ла)
Thou hast given to those that fear thee a banner, to elevate themselves, because of the truth. (Selah)
5 Щоб любі Твої були ви́зволені, Своєю правицею допоможи́, й обізви́ся до нас!
In order that thy beloved may be delivered: help with thy right hand, and answer me.
6 У святині Своїй Бог промовив: „Нехай розвеселю́сь, — розділю́ Я Сихе́м і долину Сукко́тську поміряю!
God hath spoken in his holiness: I will exult, I will divide Shechem, and the valley of Succoth will I measure out.
7 Належить Мені Ґілеа́д, Мені Манасі́я, а Єфрем — охоро́на Моїй голові́, Юда — бе́рло Моє.
Mine is Gil'ad, and mine is Menasseh; Ephraim also is the strong-hold of my head; of Judah are my chiefs;
8 Моа́в — то мідни́ця Мого миття́, на Едо́м узуття́м Своїм кину, филисте́ю, — вигукуй для Мене із радістю!“
Moab is my washpot; upon Edom will I cast my shoe: Philistia, triumph thou but over me.
9 Хто мене запрова́дить до міста тверди́нного, хто́ до Едо́му мене попрова́дить?
Who will bring me into the fortified city? who will lead me as far as Edom?
10 Хіба́ ж Ти покинув нас, Боже, і серед нашого війська не ви́йдеш вже, Боже?
Behold, it is thou, O God, who hast cast us off; and thou, O God, goest not forth with our armies.
11 Подай же нам поміч на ворога, лю́дська бо поміч — марно́та!
Give us help against the assailant; for vain is the help of man.
12 Ми мужність ви́явимо в Бозі, — і Він пото́пче противників наших!
Through God shall we do valiantly: and he it is that will tread down our assailants.
