Псалми 25
1 Давидів.
“A psalm of David.” To thee, O LORD! do I lift up my soul.
2 Боже мій, я на Тебе наді́юсь, — нехай же я не засоро́млюсь, нехай не радіють мої вороги ради мене!
O my God! I trust in thee; let me not be put to shame! Let not my enemies triumph over me!
3 Не будуть також посоро́млені всі, хто на Тебе наді́ється, та нехай посоромляться ті, хто на Те́бе встає надаре́мно!
Yea, none that hope in thee shall be put to shame: They shall be put to shame who wickedly forsake thee.
4 Доро́ги Твої дай пізнати мені, Го́споди, стежка́ми Своїми мене попрова́дь,
Cause me to know thy ways, O LORD! Teach me thy paths!
5 провадь мене в правді Своїй і навчи Ти мене, бо Ти Бог спасі́ння мого́, кожен день я на Тебе наді́юсь!
Lead me in thy truth, and teach me! For thou art the God from whom cometh my help; In thee do I trust at all times!
6 Пам'ятай милосердя Своє, о мій Господи, і ласки Свої, бо відвічні вони!
Remember thy loving-kindness, O LORD! and thy tender mercy, Which thou hast exercised of old!
7 Гріхи молоде́чого віку мого́ та провини мої не прига́дуй, — пам'ятай мене, Господи, в ласці Своїй через добрість Свою!
Remember not the faults and transgressions of my youth! According to thy mercy remember thou me, For thy goodness' sake, O LORD!
8 Господь добрий та праведний, тому грішних навчає в дорозі, —
Good and righteous is the LORD; Therefore showeth he to sinners the way.
9 Він прова́дить покірних у правді, і лагі́дних навчає дороги Своєї!
The humble he guideth in his statutes, And the humble he teacheth his way.
10 Всі Господні стежки́ — милосе́рдя та правда для тих, хто Його́ заповіта й свідоцтва доде́ржує.
All the doings of the LORD are mercy and truth To those who keep his covenant and his precepts.
11 Ради Йме́ння Свого, о Господи, прости мені про́гріх, великий бо він!
For thy name's sake, O LORD, Pardon my iniquity; for it is great!
12 Хто то́й чоловік, що боїться він Господа? — Він наставить його на доро́гу, котру має ви́брати:
Who is the man that feareth the LORD? Him doth he show the way which he should choose.
13 душа його жи́тиме в щасті, і насіння його вспадку́е землю!
He shall himself dwell in prosperity, And his offspring shall inherit the land.
14 При́язнь Господня до тих, хто боїться Його́, і Сві́й заповіт Він звісти́ть їм.
The friendship of the LORD is with them that fear him, And he will teach them his covenant.
15 Мої очі постійно до Господа, бо Він з па́стки витягує но́ги мої.
Mine eyes are ever directed to the LORD, For he will pluck my feet from the net.
16 Оберни́ся до мене й помилуй мене, — я ж бо самі́тний та бідний!
Look upon me, and pity me; For I am desolate and afflicted!
17 Муки серця мого поширились, — ви́зволь мене з моїх у́тисків!
Lighten the sorrows of my heart, And deliver me from my troubles!
18 Подивися на горе моє та на му́ку мою, — і прости всі гріхи́ мої!
Look upon my affliction and distress, And forgive all my sins!
19 Подивись на моїх ворогів, — як їх стало багато, вони лютою ненавистю ненави́дять мене!
Consider how many are my enemies, And with what violence they hate me!
20 Пильнуй же моєї душі та мене хорони́, — щоб не бути мені засоро́мленим, бо наді́юсь на Тебе!
Guard thou my life, and deliver me! Let me not be put to shame, for I have trusted in thee!
21 Невинність та правда нехай оточа́ють мене, бо наді́юсь на Тебе!
Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, For on thee do I rest my hope!
22 Визволи, Боже, Ізраїля від усіх його у́тисків!
Redeem Israel, O God! from all his troubles!
