Псалми 24

1 Псалом Давидів.

“A psalm of David.” The earth is the LORD'S, and all that is therein; The world, and they who inhabit it.

2 бо заклав Він її на моря́х, і на річках її встанови́в.

For he hath founded it upon the seas, And established it upon the floods.

3 Хто зі́йде на го́ру Господню, і хто бу́де стояти на місці святому Його? —

Who shall ascend the hill of the LORD? And who shall stand in his holy place?

4 У кого́ чисті руки та щиреє серце, і хто не нахиля́в на марно́ту своєї душі, і хто не присягав на обма́ну,

He that hath clean hands and a pure heart; Who hath not inclined his soul to falsehood, Nor sworn deceitfully.

5 нехай но́сить він благослове́ння від Господа, а праведність — від Бога спасі́ння свого!

He shall receive a blessing from the LORD, And favor from the God of his salvation.

6 Таке поколі́ння усіх, хто шукає Його́, хто пра́гне обличчя Твого́, Боже Яковів! (Се́ла)

This is the race of them that seek him; They that seek thy face are Jacob. (Pause)

7 Піднесі́те верхи́ свої, брами, і будьте відчи́нені, вхо́ди відві́чні, — і вві́йде Цар слави!

Lift up your heads, O ye gates! Lift yourselves up, ye everlasting doors, That the king of glory may come in!

8 Хто ж то Цар слави? — Господь си́льний й могу́тній, Господь, що поту́жний в бою́!

“Who is this king of glory?” Jehovah, strong and mighty; Jehovah, mighty in battle.

9 Піднесіте верхи́ свої, брами, і піднесіте, вхо́ди відві́чні, — і вві́йде Цар слави!

Lift up your heads, O ye gates! Lift yourselves up, ye everlasting doors, That the king of glory may enter in!

10 Хто ж то Він, той Цар слави? Господь Савао́т — Він Цар слави! (Се́ла)

“Who is this king of glory?” Jehovah, God of hosts, he is the king of glory. (Pause)
