Псалми 146

1 Алілуя!

Praise ye the LORD! Praise the LORD, O my soul!

2 хвалитиму Господа, поки живу́, співатиму Богу моє́му, аж поки існую!

I will praise the LORD, as long as I live; I will sing praises to my God, while I have my being.

3 Не наді́йтесь на князів, на лю́дського сина, бо в ньому спасі́ння нема:

Put not your trust in princes, In the son of man, in whom is no help!

4 вийде дух його — і він до своєї землі поверта́ється, — того дня його за́думи гинуть!

His breath goeth forth; he returneth to the dust; In that very day his plans perish.

5 Блаженний, кому́ його поміч — Бог Яковів, що надія його — на Господа, Бога його́,

Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help; Whose hope is in the LORD, his God;

6 що небо та землю вчинив, море й усе, що є в них, що правди пильнує навіки,

Who made heaven and earth, The sea, and all that is therein; Who keepeth truth for ever;

7 правосу́ддя вчиняє покри́вдженим, що хліба голодним дає! Госпо́дь в'язнів розв'язує,

Who executeth judgment for the oppressed; Who giveth food to the hungry. The LORD setteth free the prisoners;

8 Господь очі сліпим відкриває, Господь випросто́вує зі́гнутих, Господь милує праведних!

The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind; The LORD raiseth up them that are bowed down; The LORD loveth the righteous.

9 Господь обороняє прихо́дьків, сироту́ та вдови́цю підтримує, а дорогу безбожних викри́влює!

The LORD preserveth the strangers; He relieveth the fatherless and the widow; But the way of the wicked he maketh crooked.

10 Хай царю́є навіки Господь, Бог твій, Сіоне, із роду у рід! Алілу́я!

The LORD shall reign for ever; Thy God, O Zion! to all generations! Praise ye the LORD!
