Псалми 127

1 Пісня проча́н. Соломо́нова.

[the] song of The ascents of Solomon if Yahweh - not he will build a house vanity - they have toiled builders its in it if Yahweh not he will watch over a city vanity - he has kept awake [the] watchman.

2 Даре́мно вам ра́но вставати, допі́зна сидіти, їсти хліб загорьо́ваний, — Він і в спанні́ подасть другові Своє́му!

Vanity [belongs] to you - [who] rise early to rise [who] delay to sit [who] eat [the] bread of labors thus he gives to beloved [one] his sleep.

3 Діти — спа́дщина Господнє, плід утро́би — нагоро́да!

Here! [the] inheritance of Yahweh [is] sons [is] a reward [the] fruit of the womb.

4 Як стрі́ли в руках того ве́летня, так і сини́ молоді́:

Like arrows in [the] hand of a warrior so [are] [the] sons of youth.

5 блаженний той муж, що сагайдака́ свого ними напо́внив, — не бу́дуть такі посоро́млені, коли в брамі вони говори́тимуть із ворога́ми!

How blessed! [is] the man who he has filled quiver his from them not they will be ashamed if they will speak with enemies in the gate.
