I love the Lord, for he hears my voice, my pleas for mercy.
2 бо Він нахилив Своє ухо до мене, і я кли́катиму в свої дні!
For he has inclined his ear to me: I will call upon him as long as I live.
3 Болі смерти мене оточи́ли і знайшли мене му́ки шео́лу, нещастя та сму́ток знайшов я! (Sheol h7585)
About me were snares of death, the anguish of Sheol was upon me: distress and sorrow were mine. (Sheol h7585)
4 А я в Ім'я́ Господа кличу: „О Господи, ви́зволи ж душу мою!“
Then I called on the name of the Lord: “I beseech you, O Lord, deliver me.”
5 Господь милости́вий та справедливий, і наш Бог милосердний!
Gracious and just is the Lord, compassionate is our God.
6 Пильнує Господь недосві́дчених, — став я нужде́нний, та Він допомо́же мені!
The Lord preserves the simple; when I was drooping, he saved me.
7 Вернися, о душе́ моя, до свого відпочи́нку, бо Госпо́дь робить добре тобі,
Be at peace, my heart, once more, for the Lord has been good to you.
8 бо від смерти Ти ви́зволив душу мою, від сльози́ — моє око, ногу мою від спотика́ння.
You have rescued me from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling.
9 Я ходитиму перед обличчям Господнім на землях живих!
Before the Lord I will walk in the land of the living.
10 Я вірив, коли говорив: „Я сильно пригні́чений!“
I held fast my faith, though I said, “Ah me! I am sore afflicted,”
11 Я сказав був у по́спіху: Кожна люди́на говорить неправду!“
though in my alarm I said, “Everyone is a liar.”
12 Чим я відплачу́ Господе́ві за всі доброді́йства Його на мені?
What shall I render the Lord for all his bounty to me?
13 Я чашу спасі́ння прийму́, і прикли́чу Господнє Ім'я́!
I will lift up the cup of salvation, and call on the name of the Lord.
14 Прися́ги свої Господе́ві я ви́конаю перед усім наро́дом Його́!
I will pay my vows to the Lord in the presence of all his people.
15 Дорога́ в очах Господа смерть богобі́йних Його!
Grave in the eyes of the Lord is the death of his loyal and loved ones.
16 О Господи, я бо Твій раб, я Твій раб, син Твоєї неві́льниці, — Ти кайда́ни мої розв'яза́в!
Ah, Lord! I am your servant, your servant, child of your handmaid. You have loosened my bonds.
17 Я жертву подяки Тобі принесу́, і Господнім Ім'я́м буду кли́кати!
I will offer to you a thank-offering, and call on the name of the Lord.
18 Прися́ги свої Господе́ві я виконаю перед усім наро́дом Його,
I will pay my vows to the Lord in the presence of all his people,
19 на подві́р'ях Господнього Дому, посеред тебе, о Єрусалиме! Алілу́я!
in the courts of the house of the Lord, in the midst of you, O Jerusalem. Hallelujah.
