Псалми 115
1 Не нам, Господи, не нам, але Йменню Своє́му дай славу за милість Твою, за правду Твою!
Not unto us, O Yahweh, not unto us, —but, unto thine own Name, give glory, concerning thy lovingkindness, concerning thy faithfulness.
2 Пощо мають казати наро́ди: „Де́ ж то їхній Бог?“
Wherefore should the nations say, Pray where is their God?
3 А Бог наш на небі, — усе, що хотів, учинив
When, our God, is in the heavens, Whatsoever he pleased, hath he done.
4 Їхні божки́ — срібло й золото, ді́ло рук лю́дських:
Their idols, are silver and gold, the works of the hands of men, —
5 вони мають уста́ — й не гово́рять, очі мають вони — і не бачать,
A mouth, have they, but they speak not, Eyes, have they, but they see not;
6 мають уші — й не чують, мають носа — й без ню́ху,
Ears, have they, but they hear not, A nose, have they, but they smell not:
7 мають руки — та не дотика́ються, мають ноги — й не ходять, своїм го́рлом вони не говорять!
Their hands! but they feel not Their feet! but they walk not, No sound make they in their throat.
8 Нехай стануть такі, як вони, ті, хто їх виробля́є, усі, хто наді́ю на них поклада́є!
Like unto them, shall be they who make them, Every one who trusteth in them.
9 Ізраїлю, — наді́ю складай лиш на Господа: Він їм поміч та щит їм!
O Israel! trust thou in Yahweh, Their help and their shield, is he!
10 Ааро́новий доме, — наді́йтесь на Господа: Він їм поміч та щит їм!
O house of Aaron! trust ye in Yahweh, Their help and their shield, is he!
11 Ті, що Господа боїте́ся, — наді́йтесь на Господа: Він їм поміч та щит їм!
Ye that revere Yahweh! trust in Yahweh, Their help and their shield, is he!
12 Господь пам'ятає про нас, — нехай поблагосло́вить! Нехай поблагосло́вить Ізраїлів дім, нехай поблагосло́вить Він дім Ааро́нів!
Yahweh, hath remembered us, he will bless—He will bless the house of Israel, He will bless the house of Aaron;
13 Нехай поблагосло́вить Він тих, хто має до Господа страх, мали́х та великих!
He will bless them who revere Yahweh, the small with the great.
14 Нехай вас розмножить Госпо́дь, — вас і ваших діте́й!
Yahweh multiply you, You, and your children.
15 Благословенні ви в Господа, що вчинив небо й землю!
Blessed are ye of Yahweh, who made the heavens and the earth:
16 Небо, — небо для Господа, а землю віддав синам лю́дським!
As for the heavens, the heavens, belong to Yahweh, but the earth, hath he given to the sons of men.
17 Не мертві хвалитимуть Господа, ані ті всі, хто сходить у місце мовча́ння, —
The dead, cannot praise Yah, nor any that go down into silence;
18 а ми благословля́тимемо Господа — відтепе́р й аж навіки! Алілуя!
But, we, will bless Yah, from henceforth even unto times age-abiding. Praise ye Yah.
