Псалми 106
1 Алілу́я!
Hallelujah. O give thanks unto the LORD; for He is good; for His mercy endureth for ever.
2 Хто розка́же про ве́лич Господню, розповість усю славу Його́?
Who can express the mighty acts of the LORD, or make all His praise to be heard?
3 Блаженні, хто де́ржиться права, хто чинить правду кожного ча́су!
Happy are they that keep justice, that do righteousness at all times.
4 Згадай мене, Господи, в ласці Своїй до народу Свого́, відві́дай мене спасі́нням Своїм,
Remember me, O LORD, when Thou favourest Thy people; O think of me at Thy salvation;
5 щоб побачити добре вибра́нців Твоїх, щоб я ті́шився радощами Твого наро́ду, і хвалився зо спа́дком Твоїм!
That I may behold the prosperity of Thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of Thy nation, that I may glory with Thine inheritance.
6 Ми згрішили з батька́ми своїми, скриви́ли, неправди́ве чинили.
We have sinned with our fathers, we have done iniquitously, we have dealt wickedly.
7 Не зважа́ли на чу́да Твої батьки наші в Єгипті, многоти́ Твоїх ласк не прига́дували й бунтува́лись над морем, над морем Черво́ним.
Our fathers in Egypt gave no heed unto Thy wonders; they remembered not the multitude of Thy mercies; but were rebellious at the sea, even at the Red Sea.
8 Та Він ради Ймення Свого їх спас, щоб виявити Свою силу.
Nevertheless He saved them for His name's sake, that He might make His mighty power to be known.
9 Він кли́кнув на море Червоне — і ви́сохло, і Він їх повів через мо́рські глиби́ни, немов по пустині!
And He rebuked the Red Sea, and it was dried up; and He led them through the depths, as through a wilderness.
10 І Він спас їх з руки неприя́теля, визволив їх з руки ворога, —
And He saved them from the hand of him that hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
11 і закрила вода супроти́вників їхніх, жоден з них не зоста́вся!
And the waters covered their adversaries; there was not one of them left.
12 Тоді то в слова́ Його вві́рували, виспі́вували Йому славу.
Then believed they His words; they sang His praise.
13 Та скоро забули вони Його чин, не чекали пора́ди Його́,
They soon forgot His works; they waited not for His counsel;
14 і пала́ли в пустині жада́нням, і Бога в пустині ізнов випробо́вували,
But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tried God in the desert.
15 і Він їхнє жада́ння їм дав, але худість послав в їхню душу.
And He gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul.
16 Та Мойсею поза́здрили в та́борі, й Ааронові, святому Господньому.
They were jealous also of Moses in the camp, and of Aaron the holy one of the LORD.
17 Розкрилась земля — і Дата́на погли́нула, Авіро́нові збори накрила,
The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan, and covered the company of Abiram.
18 і огонь запалав на їхніх збо́рах, — і по́лум'я те попали́ло безбожних.
And a fire was kindled in their company; the flame burned up the wicked.
19 Зробили тельця́ на Хори́ві, і били поклони бовва́нові ви́литому, —
They made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped a molten image.
20 і змінили вони свою славу на образ вола́, що траву пожирає,
Thus they exchanged their glory for the likeness of an ox that eateth grass.
21 забули про Бога, свого Спасителя, що велике в Єгипті вчинив,
They forgot God their saviour, who had done great things in Egypt;
22 у землі Ха́мовій чу́да, страшні ре́чі над морем Червоним.
Wondrous works in the land of Ham, terrible things by the Red Sea.
23 І сказав Він пони́щити їх, коли б не Мойсей, вибра́нець Його, що став був у ви́ломі перед обличчям Його — відверну́ти Його гнів, щоб не шкодив!
Therefore He said that He would destroy them, had not Moses His chosen stood before Him in the breach, to turn back His wrath, lest He should destroy them.
24 Погордили землею жада́ною, не повірили сло́ву Його,
Moreover, they scorned the desirable land, they believed not His word;
25 і ре́мствували по наме́тах своїх, неслухня́ні були́ до Господнього голосу.
And they murmured in their tents, they hearkened not unto the voice of the LORD.
26 І Він підійняв Свою ру́ку на них, щоб їх повали́ти в пустині,
Therefore He swore concerning them, that He would overthrow them in the wilderness;
27 і щоб повалити їхнє пото́мство посеред наро́дів, та щоб розпоро́шити їх по країнах!
And that He would cast out their seed among the nations, and scatter them in the lands.
28 І служили Ваа́лові пео́рському, й їли вони жертви мертвих,
They joined themselves also unto Baal of Peor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead.
29 і діла́ми своїми розгні́вали Бога, — тому вдерлась зара́за між них!
Thus they provoked Him with their doings, and the plague broke in upon them.
30 І встав тоді Пі́нхас та й розсуди́в, — і зара́за затри́малась,
Then stood up Phinehas, and wrought judgment, and so the plague was stayed.
31 і йому порахо́вано в праведність це, з роду в рід аж навіки.
And that was counted unto him for righteousness, unto all generations for ever.
32 І розгні́вали Бога вони над водою Мері́ви, і через них стало зле для Мойсея,
They angered Him also at the waters of Meribah, and it went ill with Moses because of them;
33 бо духа його засмути́ли, і він говорив нерозва́жно уста́ми своїми.
For they embittered his spirit, and he spoke rashly with his lips.
34 Вони не позни́щували тих наро́дів, що Господь говорив їм про них, —
They did not destroy the peoples, as the LORD commanded them;
35 і поміша́лись з пога́нами, та їхніх учинків навчи́лись.
But mingled themselves with the nations, and learned their works;
36 І бо́жищам їхнім служили, а ті па́сткою стали для них.
And they served their idols, which became a snare unto them;
37 І прино́сили в жертву синів своїх, а дочо́к своїх — де́монам,
Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto demons,
38 — і кров чисту лили́, кров синів своїх і дочо́к своїх, що їх у жертву прино́сили бо́жищам ханаа́нським. І через кривавий пере́ступ земля поскверни́лась,
And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan; and the land was polluted with blood.
39 і стали нечисті вони через учи́нки свої, і пере́люб чинили діла́ми своїми.
Thus were they defiled with their works, and went astray in their doings.
40 І проти наро́ду Свого запалав гнів Господній, і спа́док Його Йому став оги́дним,
Therefore was the wrath of the LORD kindled against His people, and He abhorred His inheritance.
41 і віддав їх у руку наро́дів, — і їхні нена́висники панували над ними,
And He gave them into the hand of the nations; and they that hated them ruled over them.
42 і їхні вороги їх гноби́ли, і вони впокори́лися під їхню руку.
Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were subdued under their hand.
43 Багато разі́в Він визво́лював їх, але вони вперті були́ своїм за́думом, — і пригно́блено їх через їхню прови́ну!
Many times did He deliver them; but they were rebellious in their counsel, and sank low through their iniquity.
44 Та поба́чив Він їхню тісно́ту, коли почув їхні блага́ння,
Nevertheless He looked upon their distress, when He heard their cry;
45 і Він пригадав їм Свого заповіта, і пожалував був за Своєю великою милістю,
And He remembered for them His covenant, and repented according to the multitude of His mercies.
46 і збудив милосердя до них між усі́ма, що їх полони́ли!
He made them also to be pitied of all those that carried them captive.
47 Спаси́ нас, о Господи, Боже наш, і нас позбирай з-між наро́дів, щоб дя́кувати Йме́нню святому Твоєму, щоб Твоєю хвали́тися славою!
Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the nations, that we may give thanks unto Thy holy name, that we may triumph in Thy praise.
48 Благословенний Господь, Бог Ізраїлів звіку й наві́ки! І ввесь наро́д нехай скаже: Амі́нь! Алілу́я!
Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting even to everlasting, and let all the people say: 'Amen.' Hallelujah.
