Псалми 105
1 Дякуйте Господу, кличте Ім'я́ Його́, серед наро́дів звіщайте про чи́ни Його!
O give thanks unto the Lord; call on his name: make known among the people his deeds.
2 Співайте Йому, грайте Йому, говоріть про всі чу́да Його́!
Sing unto, him, sing praises unto him: speak of all his wonderful works.
3 Хваліться святим Його Йме́нням, хай ті́шиться серце шука́ючих Господа!
Glorify yourselves in his holy name: let the heart of those rejoice that seek the Lord.
4 Пошу́куйте Господа й силу Його, лице Його за́вжди шукайте!
Inquire after the Lord and his strength: seek his presence evermore.
5 Пам'ятайте про чу́да Його, які Він учинив, про озна́ки Його та про при́суди уст Його,
Remember his wonderful works which he hath done; his tokens, and the decrees of his mouth;
6 ви, насіння Авраама, раба Його, сини Яковові, вибра́нці Його́!
O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob, his elect.
7 Він — Госпо́дь, Бог наш, по ці́лій землі Його при́суди!
He is the Lord our God: over all the earth are his decrees.
8 Він пам'ятає наві́ки Свого заповіта, те слово, яке наказав був на тисячу родів,
He remembereth his covenant for ever, the word which he hath commanded, to the thousandth generation.
9 що склав Він його з Авраа́мом, і прися́гу Свою — для Ісака.
Which he covenanted with Abraham; and his oath unto Isaac;
10 Він поставив її за Зако́на для Якова, Ізраїлеві — заповітом навіки,
And which he established unto Jacob as a statute, unto Israel as an everlasting covenant:
11 говорячи: „Я дам тобі Край ханаа́нський, частину спа́дщини для вас“!
Saying, “Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, as the portion of your inheritance.”
12 Тоді їх було́ невелике число, нечисле́нні були та прихо́дьки на ній,
When they were but a few men in number; yea, very few, and strangers in it;
13 і ходили вони від наро́ду до наро́ду, від царства до іншого лю́ду.
And when they wandered from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people:
14 Не дозво́лив ніко́му Він кри́вдити їх, і за них Він царям докоря́в:
He suffered no man to oppress them; yea, he reproved kings for their sake;
15 „Не дото́ркуйтеся до Моїх помаза́нців, а пророкам Моїм не робі́те лихого!“
[Saying, ] “Touch not my anointed, and do my prophets no harm,”—
16 І покликав Він голод на землю, всяке хлі́бне стебло́ полама́в.
And he called for a famine over the land; every staff of bread he broke.
17 Перед їхнім обличчям Він мужа послав, — за раба Йо́сип про́даний був.
He sent a man before them; for a servant was Joseph sold;
18 Кайда́нами му́чили но́ги його, залізо пройшло в його тіло,
They forced into fetters his feet; in iron was his body put:
19 аж до ча́су випо́внення сло́ва Його, — слово Господнє його було ви́явило.
Until the time that his word came to pass, [when] the saying of the Lord had purified him.
20 Цар послав — і його розв'яза́в, воло́дар народів — і його був звільни́в.
The king sent and unfettered him; the ruler of people, and let him go free.
21 Він настанови́в його паном над домом своїм, і воло́дарем над усім маєтком своїм,
He appointed him lord of his house, and ruler of all his possession:
22 щоб в'язни́в він його можновла́дців по волі своїй, а старших його умудря́в.
That he might bind his princes at his pleasure; and teach his ancients wisdom.
23 І Ізраїль прибув до Єги́пту, і Яків заме́шкав у Ха́мовім кра́ї.
Then came Israel into Egypt, and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
24 А наро́д Свій Він сильно розмно́жив, і зробив був рясні́шим його від його ворогів.
And he increased his people greatly, and made them stronger than their adversaries.
25 Він переміни́в їхнє серце, щоб народа Його ненави́діли, щоб брались на хи́трощі проти рабів Його.
He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtilely with his servants.
26 Він послав був Мойсея, Свого раба, Аарона, що вибрав його,
He sent Moses his servant, Aaron also whom he had made choice of.
27 — вони положили були серед них Його ре́чі знаме́нні, та чу́да у Ха́мовім кра́ї.
They displayed among them his effective signs, and wonders in the land of Ham.
28 Він темно́ту наслав — і поте́мніло, і вони не проти́вились слову Його.
He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.
29 Він перемінив їхню воду на кров, і вмори́в їхню рибу.
He changed their waters into blood, and slew their fish.
30 Їхній край зарої́вся був жа́бами, навіть в поко́ях царів їхніх.
Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, in the very chambers of their kings.
31 Він сказав — й прибули́ рої мух, воші в ці́лому о́бширі їхньому.
He spoke, and there came various wild beasts, lice also within all their boundary.
32 Він градом зробив їхній дощ, палю́чий огонь — на їхню землю.
He gave them as their rain hail, and flames of fire in their land.
33 І Він повибивав виноград їхній та фіґове дерево їхнє, і дереви́ну на о́бширі їхньому повило́млював.
And he smote their vines and their fig-trees, and broke the trees within their boundary.
34 Він сказав — і найшла сарана́ та гу́сінь без ліку, —
He spoke, and the locusts came, and crickets, and that without number;
35 усю ярину́ в їхнім кра́ї поже́рла, і плід землі їхньої з'їла.
And they ate up all the herbs in their land, and ate up the fruit of their ground.
36 I Він повбивав усіх пе́рвістків в їхньому краї, поча́ток усякої їхньої сили.
And he smote all the first-born in their land, the first of all their strength.
37 І Він ви́провадив їх у срі́блі та в золоті, і серед їхніх племе́н не було́, хто б спіткну́вся.
And he brought them forth with silver and gold: and there was not one that stumbled among his tribes.
38 Єгипет радів, коли вийшли вони, бо страх перед ними напа́в був на них.
Egypt rejoiced when they departed; for the dread of them was fallen upon them.
39 Він хмару простяг на заслону, а огонь — на осві́тлення ночі.
He spread out a cloud for a covering, and fire to give light in the night.
40 Зажадав був Ізраїль — і Він перепели́ці наслав, і хлібом небесним Він їх годува́в.
The people asked, and he brought quails, and with heavenly bread he satisfied them.
41 Відчинив був Він скелю — й лину́ла вода, потекли́ були ріки в пустинях,
He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out: they ran in the dry places like a river.
42 бо Він пам'ятав за святе Своє слово, за Авраама, Свого раба.
For he remembered his holy word given to Abraham his servant.
43 І Він з радістю вивів наро́д Свій, зо співом — вибра́нців Своїх,
And he brought forth his people with gladness, with joyful song his elect.
44 І їм землю наро́дів роздав, і посі́ли вони працю лю́дів,
And he gave them the lands of nations; and the labor of people they obtained as an inheritance:
45 щоб вико́нували Його за́повіді, та зако́ни Його берегли́! Алілу́я!
So that they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Hallelujah.
