1 А оце наща́дки Ааро́нові та Мойсеєві в дні, коли Господь промовляв до Мойсея на Сінайській горі.
And these [are] the generations of Aaron and Moses, in the day of YHWH’s speaking with Moses in Mount Sinai.
2 І оце імена́ Ааронових синів: перворідний Надав, і Авігу, Елеазар та Ітамар.
And these [are] the names of the sons of Aaron: the firstborn Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar;
3 Оце імена́ Ааронових синів, пома́заних священиків, що він посвятив їх бути священиками.
these [are] the names of the sons of Aaron, the anointed priests, whose hand he has consecrated for acting as priest.
4 Та помер Надав та Авігу перед Господнім лицем, коли вони прине́сли були чужий огонь перед Господнім лицем у Сінайській пустині, а синів у них не було. І були священиками Елеазар та Ітамар за життя батька свого Ааро́на.
And Nadab dies—Abihu also—before YHWH, in their bringing strange fire near before YHWH, in the wilderness of Sinai, and they did not have sons; and Eleazar—Ithamar also—acts as priest in the presence of their father Aaron.
5 І Господь промовляв до Мойсея, говорячи:
And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
6 „Приведи Левієве пле́м'я, і постав його перед священиком Аароном, — і вони будуть услуго́вувати йому.
“Bring the tribe of Levi near, and you have caused it to stand before Aaron the priest, and they have served him,
7 І будуть вони вико́нувати сторо́жу його та всієї громади перед скинією заповіту, щоб виконувати службу скині́йну.
and kept his charge, and the charge of all the congregation before the Tent of Meeting, to do the service of the Dwelling Place;
8 І будуть вони стерегти́ всі речі скинії запові́ту та сторо́жу Ізраїлевих синів, щоб виконувати службу скинійну.
and they have kept all the vessels of the Tent of Meeting, and the charge of the sons of Israel, to do the service of the Dwelling Place;
9 І даси Левитів Ааро́нові та синам його, — власне йому вони дані від Ізраїлевих синів.
and you have given the Levites to Aaron and to his sons; they are surely given to him out of the sons of Israel.
10 А Аарона та синів його постав, щоб вони пильнували свого свяще́нства, а чужий, хто набли́зиться, — буде забитий“.
And you appoint Aaron and his sons, and they have kept their priesthood, and the stranger who comes near is put to death.”
11 І Господь промовляв до Мойсея, говорячи:
And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
12 „А Я оце взяв Левитів з-посеред Ізраїлевих синів замість кожного перворідного, що розкривають утро́бу, з Ізраїлевих синів. І будуть Леви́ти Мої,
“And I, behold, have taken the Levites from the midst of the sons of Israel instead of every firstborn opening a womb among the sons of Israel, and the Levites have been Mine;
13 бо Мій кожен перворідний. Того дня, коли Я був ударив кожного перворідного в єгипетськім кра́ї, Я посвятив Собі кожного перворідного в Ізраїлі від люди́ни аж до скотини, — Мої вони будуть. Я — Господь!“
for every firstborn [is] Mine, in the day of My striking every firstborn in the land of Egypt I have sanctified to Myself every firstborn in Israel, from man to beast; they are Mine; I [am] YHWH.”
14 І Господь промовляв до Мойсея в Сінайській пустині, говорячи:
And YHWH speaks to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, saying,
15 „Перелічи Левієвих синів за дома́ми їхніх батьків, за ро́дами їхніми, кожного чоловічої статі від місячного віку й вище перелічиш їх“.
“Number the sons of Levi by the house of their fathers, by their families; every male from a son of a month and upward—you number them.”
16 І Мойсей перелічив їх за Господнім словом, як йому наказано.
And Moses numbers them according to the command of YHWH, as he has been commanded.
17 І були за йменнями своїми оці Левієві сини: Ґершон, і Кегат, і Мерарі.
And these are the sons of Levi by their names: Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari.
18 А оце імена́ Ґершоно́вих синів за їхніми родами: Лівні та Шім'ї.
And these [are] the names of the sons of Gershon by their families: Libni and Shimei.
19 А сини Кега́тові за їхніми родами: Амрам і Їцгар, Хеврон і Уззіїл.
And the sons of Kohath by their families: Amram, and Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.
20 А сини Мерарі за їхніми родами: Махлі та Муші. Оце вони, роди Левієві, за домами своїх батьків.
And the sons of Merari by their families: Mahli and Mushi; these are the families of the Levites, by the house of their fathers.
21 Від Ґершо́на: рід Лівнієвих та рід Шім'їєвих. Оце вони, роди Ґершонових.
Of Gershon—the family of the Libnite and the family of the Shimite; these are the families of the Gershonite.
22 Перелічені їхні числом кожного чоловічої статі від місячного віку й вище, перелічені їхні — сім тисяч і п'ятсо́т.
Their numbered ones, in number, every male from a son of a month and upward, their numbered ones [are] seven thousand and five hundred.
23 Роди Ґершонових будуть таборува́ти за наме́том на за́хід.
The families of the Gershonite encamp westward behind the Dwelling Place.
24 А начальник ба́тьківського дому Ґершонових — Ел'ясаф, син Лаїлів.
And the prince of a father’s house for the Gershonite [is] Eliasaph son of Lael.
25 А до́гляд Ґершонових синів у скинії заповіту: скинія внутрішня і наме́т зовнішній, і покриття́ його, і заві́са входу скинії заповіту,
And the charge of the sons of Gershon in the Tent of Meeting [is] the Dwelling Place, and the tent, its covering, and the veil at the opening of the Tent of Meeting,
26 і запони подвір'я, і засло́на входу подві́р'я, що на скинії та на же́ртівнику навко́ло, і шнури її — до всієї служби його.
and the hangings of the court, and the veil at the opening of the court, which [is] by the Dwelling Place and by the altar all around, and its cords, to all its service.
27 А від Кегата: рід Амрамових, і рід Іцхарових, і рід Хевронових, і рід Оззіїлових, — оце вони, роди Кегатових.
And of Kohath—the family of the Amramite, and the family of the Izharite, and the family of the Hebronite, and the family of the Uzzielite; these are families of the Kohathite.
28 Числом кожного чоловічої статі від місячного віку й вище, — вісім тисяч і шістсо́т, що пильнували сторо́жу святині.
In number, all the males, from a son of a month and upward, [are] eight thousand and six hundred, keeping the charge of the holy place.
29 Роди Кегатових синів ота́боряться на подовжньому боці скинії на пі́вдень.
The families of the sons of Kohath encamp southward by the side of the Dwelling Place.
30 А начальник ба́тькового дому родів Кегатових Еліцафан, син Уззіїлів.
And the prince of a father’s house for the families of the Kohathite [is] Elizaphan son of Uzziel.
31 А їхній догляд: ковче́г, і стіл, і свічник, і жертівники, і святі речі, що служать ними, і завіса, — і вся служба при тому.
And their charge [is] the Ark, and the table, and the lampstand, and the altars, and the vessels of the holy place with which they serve, and the veil, and all its service.
32 А начальник Левієвих начальників — Елеазар, син священика Ааро́на, що мав догляд над тими, хто пильнує сторо́жу святині.
And Eleazar son of Aaron the priest [is] the prince of the princes of the Levites, [with] the oversight of the keepers of the charge of the holy place.
33 Від Мерарі: рід Махлієвих, і рід Мушієвих, — оце вони, роди Мерарієві.
Of Merari—the family of the Mahlite and the family of the Mushite; these [are] the families of Merari.
34 А перелічені їхні числом кожного чоловічої статі від місячного віку й вище, — шість тисяч і двісті.
And their numbered ones, in number, all the males from a son of a month and upward, [are] six thousand and two hundred.
35 А начальник ба́тьківського дому Мерарієвих родів — Цуріїл, син Авіхаїлів. Вони ота́боряться на подовжнім боці скинії на пі́вніч.
And the prince of a father’s house for the families of Merari [is] Zuriel son of Abihail; they encamp northward by the side of the Dwelling Place.
36 А догляд сторо́жі Мерарієвих синів: дошки скинії, і засо́ви її, і стовпи́ її, і підста́ви її, і всі речі її, — і вся служба її,
And the oversight [and] charge of the sons of Merari [are] the boards of the Dwelling Place, and its bars, and its pillars, and its sockets, and all its vessels, and all its service,
37 і стовпи́ подві́р'я навко́ло, і їхні підстави, і кілки́ їхні, і їхні шну́ри.
and the pillars of the court all around, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords.
38 А ті, що таборують спе́реду перед скинією, перед скинією заповіту на схід, Мойсей й Ааро́н та сини його, — вони виконують сторо́жу святині, сторожу за Ізраїлевих синів. А чужий, хто набли́зиться, — буде забитий.
And those encamping before the Dwelling Place eastward, before the Tent of Meeting, at the east, [are] Moses and Aaron, and his sons, keeping the charge of the sanctuary for the charge of the sons of Israel, and the stranger who comes near is put to death.
39 Усі перелічені Леви́тів, що перелічив Мойсей та Ааро́н на Господній нака́з за їхніми родами, кожен чоловічої статі від місячного віку й вище, — двадцять і дві тисячі.
All those numbered of the Levites whom Moses numbered—Aaron also—by the command of YHWH, by their families, every male from a son of a month and upward, [are] twenty-two thousand.
40 І сказав Господь до Мойсея: „Перелічи всіх перворідних чоловічої статі Ізраїлевих синів від місячного віку й вище, і перелічи число імен їх.
And YHWH says to Moses, “Number every firstborn male of the sons of Israel from a son of a month and upward, and take up the number of their names;
41 І візьми для Мене Леви́тів — Я — Госпо́дь! — замість кожного перворідного Ізраїлевих синів, а худобу Левитів — замість кожного перворідного серед худоби Ізраїлевих синів“.
and you have taken the Levites for Me (I [am] YHWH), instead of every firstborn among the sons of Israel, and the livestock of the Levites instead of every firstling among the livestock of the sons of Israel.”
42 І перелічив Мойсей, як Господь наказав був йому, усіх перворідних серед Ізраїлевих синів.
And Moses numbers, as YHWH has commanded him, all the firstborn among the sons of Israel.
43 І було всіх перворідних чоловічої статі числом імен від місячного віку й вище, за їхніми переліченими — двадцять і дві тисячі двісті і сімдесят і три.
And every firstborn male, by the number of names, from a son of a month and upward, of their numbered ones, are twenty-two thousand two hundred and seventy-three.
44 І Господь промовляв до Мойсея, говорячи:
And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
45 „Візьми Леви́тів замість кожного перворідного серед Ізраїлевих синів, а худобу Леви́тів — замість їхньої худоби, і будуть Левити Мої. Я — Господь!
“Take the Levites instead of every firstborn among the sons of Israel, and the livestock of the Levites instead of their livestock; and the Levites have been Mine; I [am] YHWH.
46 А на о́куп тих двохсо́т і семидесяти́ і трьох, що позостали понад Левитами з перворідного Ізраїлевих синів,
And [from] those ransomed of the two hundred and seventy-three of the firstborn of the sons of Israel, who are more than the Levites,
47 то візьми по п'яти шеклів на го́лову, на міру шеклем святині ві́зьмеш, — двадцять ґер шекель,
you have even taken five shekels apiece by the counted head—you take by the shekel of the holy place; the shekel [is] twenty gerahs;
48 і даси ті гроші Ааронові та синам його, як о́куп за позосталих серед них“.
and you have given the money to Aaron and to his sons, whereby those over and above are ransomed.”
49 І взяв Мойсей гроші окупу від позосталих понад ви́куплених Левитами,
And Moses takes the ransom money from those over and above those ransomed by the Levites;
50 від перворідного Ізраїлевих синів узяв він ті гроші, — тисячу і триста і шістдеся́т і п'ять на міру ше́клем святині.
he has taken the money from the firstborn of the sons of Israel—one thousand and three hundred and sixty-five, by the shekel of the holy place;
51 І дав Мойсей гроші о́купу Ааро́нові та синам його за Господнім нака́зом, як Господь наказав був Мойсе́єві.
and Moses gives the money of those ransomed to Aaron and to his sons, according to the command of YHWH, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
