1 і сказав Господь до Мойсея й до Елеазара, сина священика Аарона, говорячи:
And it comes to pass, after the plague, that YHWH speaks to Moses and to Eleazar son of Aaron the priest, saying,
2 „Перелічіть усю громаду Ізраїлевих синів від віку двадцяти літ і вище за домами їхніх батьків, кожного, хто здатний до ві́йська в Ізраїлі.
“Take a census of all the congregation of the sons of Israel, from a son of twenty years and upward, by the house of their fathers, everyone going out to the host in Israel.”
3 І говорив до них Мойсей та священик Елеазар у моавських степа́х над приєрихонським Йорда́ном, говорячи:
And Moses speaks—Eleazar the priest also—with them in the plains of Moab by the Jordan, [near] Jericho, saying,
4 „ Перелічіть від віку двадцяти літ і вище, як наказав був Господь Мойсеєві і Ізраїлевим синам, що виходили з єгипетського кра́ю“.
“From a son of twenty years and upward,” as YHWH has commanded Moses and the sons of Israel who are coming out from the land of Egypt.
5 Руви́м, перворідний Ізраїлів. Рувимові сини: Ханох — рід Ханохів, від Паллу — рід Паллуїв,
Reuben, firstborn of Israel—sons of Reuben: of Enoch [is] the family of the Enochite; of Pallu the family of the Palluite;
6 від Хецрона — рід Хецронів, від Кармі — рід Карміїв.
of Hezron the family of the Hezronite; of Carmi the family of the Carmite.
7 Оце Руви́мові роди. І були їхні перелічені: сорок і три тисячі й сімсот і тридцять.
These [are] families of the Reubenite, and their numbered ones are forty-three thousand and seven hundred and thirty.
8 А сини Паллуєві: Еліяв.
And the son of Pallu [is] Eliab;
9 А сини Еліявові: Немуїл, і Датан, і Авірон. Це той Дата́н та Авіро́н, покликані громади, що підбу́рювали проти Мойсея та проти Аарона в Кореєвій громаді, коли вони підбурювали на Господа.
and the sons of Eliab [are] Nemuel, and Dathan, and Abiram; this [is that] Dathan and Abiram, called ones of the congregation, who have striven against Moses and against Aaron in the congregation of Korah, in their striving against YHWH,
10 І відкрила земля свої уста, та й поглинула їх та Корея при смерті тієї громади, коли огонь пожер був двісті і п'ятдеся́т люда, і стали вони за ознаку.
and the earth opens her mouth, and swallows them and Korah, in the death of the congregation, in the fire consuming the two hundred and fifty men, and they become a sign;
11 А Кореєві сини не померли.
but the sons of Korah did not die.
12 Сини Симео́нові за їхніми ро́дами: від Немуїла — рід Немуїлів, від Яміна — рід Ямінів, в Яхіна — рід Яхінів,
Sons of Simeon by their families: of Nemuel [is] the family of the Nemuelite; of Jamin the family of the Jaminite; of Jachin the family of the Jachinite;
13 від Зераха — рід Зерахів, від Саула — рід Саулів.
of Zerah the family of the Zerahite; of Shaul the family of the Shaulite.
14 Оце Симеонові ро́ди, — двадцять і дві тисячі й двісті.
These [are] families of the Simeonite—twenty-two thousand and two hundred.
15 Сини Ґадові за їхніми ро́дами: від Цефона — рід Цефонів, від Хаґґі — рід Хаґґіїв, від Шуні — рід Шуніїв,
Sons of Gad by their families: of Zephon [is] the family of the Zephonite; of Haggi the family of the Haggite; of Shuni the family of the Shunite;
16 від Озні — рід Озніїв, від Ері — рід Еріїв,
of Ozni the family of the Oznite; of Eri the family of the Erite:
17 від Арода рід Ародів, від Ар'елі — рід Ар'еліїв.
of Arod the family of the Arodite; of Areli the family of the Arelite.
18 Оце ро́ди Ґадових синів, за їхнім переліченням: сорок тисяч і п'ятсо́т.
These [are] families of the sons of Gad by their numbered ones—forty thousand and five hundred.
19 Сини Юдині: Ер та Онан; і помер Ер та Онан у ханаанськім Кра́ї.
Sons of Judah [are] Er and Onan; and Er dies—Onan also—in the land of Canaan.
20 І були Юдині сини за їхніми ро́дами: від Шели — рід Шелин, від Переца — рід Переців, від Зераха — рід Зерахів.
And sons of Judah by their families are: of Shelah the family of the Shelanite; of Perez the family of the Perezite; of Zerah the family of the Zerahite;
21 А Пе́рецеві сини були́: від Хецрона — рід Хецронів, від Хамула — рід Хамулів.
and sons of Perez are: of Hezron the family of the Hezronite; of Hamul the family of the Hamulite.
22 Оце Юдини ро́ди за їхнім переліченням: сімдеся́т і шість тисяч і п'ятсо́т.
These [are] families of Judah by their numbered ones—seventy-six thousand and five hundred.
23 Сини Іссаха́рові за їхніми ро́дами: Тола — рід Толин, від Цувви — рід Цуввин,
Sons of Issachar by their families: of Tola [is] the family of the Tolaite; of Pua the family of the Punite;
24 від Яшува — рід Яшувів, від Шімрона — рід Шімронів.
of Jashub the family of the Jashubite; of Shimron the family of the Shimronite.
25 Оце Іссаха́рові ро́ди за їхнім переліченням: шістдеся́т і чотири тисячі й триста.
These [are] families of Issachar by their numbered ones—sixty-four thousand and three hundred.
26 Сини Завуло́нові за їхніми ро́дами: від Середа — рід Середів, від Елона — рід Елонів, від Яхлеїла — рід Яхлеїлів.
Sons of Zebulun by their families: of Sered [is] the family of the Sardite; of Elon the family of the Elonite; of Jahleel the family of the Jahleelite.
27 Оце Завулонові роди за їхнім переліченням: шістдеся́т тисяч і п'ятсо́т.
These [are] families of the Zebulunite by their numbered ones—sixty thousand and five hundred.
28 Сини Йо́сипа за їхніми ро́дами: Манасі́я та Єфре́м.
Sons of Joseph by their families [are] Manasseh and Ephraim.
29 Сини Манасі́їні: від Махіра — рід Махірів, а Махір породив Ґілеада, від Ґілеада — рід Гілеадів.
Sons of Manasseh: of Machir [is] the family of the Machirite; and Machir has begotten Gilead; of Gilead [is] the family of the Gileadite.
30 Оце Ґілеадові сини́: Єзер — рід Єзерів, від Хелека — рід Хелеків,
These [are] sons of Gilead: of Jeezer [is] the family of the Jeezerite; of Helek the family of the Helekite;
31 і Асріїл — рід Асріїлів, і Шехем — рід Шехемів,
and of Asriel the family of the Asrielite; and of Shechem the family of the Shechemite;
32 і Шеміда — рід Шемідин, і Хефер — рід Хеферів.
and of Shemida the family of the Shemidaite; and of Hepher the family of the Hepherite.
33 А Целофхад, син Хеферів, не мав синів, а тільки дочо́к. А ймення дочо́к: Махла й Ноа, Хоґла, Мілка й Тірца.
And Zelophehad son of Hepher had no sons, but [only] daughters, and the names of the daughters of Zelophehad [are] Mahlah, and Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.
34 Оце ро́ди Манасіїні, а їхні перелічені: п'ятдеся́т і дві тисячі й сімсот.
These [are] families of Manasseh, and their numbered ones [are] fifty-two thousand and seven hundred.
35 Оце Єфре́мові сини́ за їхніми ро́дами: від Шутелаха — рід Шутелахів, від Бехера — рід Бехерів, від Тахана — рід Таханів.
These [are] sons of Ephraim by their families: of Shuthelah [is] the family of the Shuthelhite; of Becher the family of the Bachrite; of Tahan the family of the Tahanite.
36 А оце Шутелахові сини́: від Ерана — рід Еранів.
And these [are] sons of Shuthelah: of Eran the family of the Eranite.
37 Оце ро́ди Єфремових синів за їхнім переліченням: тридцять і дві тисячі і п'ятсот. Оце Йо́сипові сини́ за їхніми ро́дами.
These [are] families of the sons of Ephraim by their numbered ones—thirty-two thousand and five hundred. These [are] sons of Joseph by their families.
38 Сини́ Веніями́нові за їхніми ро́дами: від Бели — рід Белин, від Ашбела — рід Ашбелів, від Ахірама — рід Ахірамів,
Sons of Benjamin by their families: of Bela [is] the family of the Belaite; of Ashbel the family of the Ashbelite; of Ahiram the family of the Ahiramite;
39 від Шефуфама — рід Шефуфамів, від Хуфама — рід Хуфамів.
of Shupham the family of the Shuphamite; of Hupham the family of the Huphamite.
40 А сини́ Белині були: Ард, і Нааман, від Арда — рід Ардів, від Наамана — рід Нааманів.
And sons of Bela are Ard and Naaman: [of Ard is] the family of the Ardite; of Naaman the family of the Naamite.
41 Оце Веніями́нові сини́ за їхніми ро́дами, а перелічені їхні: сорок і п'ять тисяч і шістсо́т.
These [are] sons of Benjamin by their families, and their numbered ones [are] forty-five thousand and six hundred.
42 Оце Да́нові сини за їхніми ро́дами: від Шухама — рід Шухамів. Оце Данові ро́ди за їхніми родами.
These [are] sons of Dan by their families: of Shuham [is] the family of the Shuhamite; these [are] families of Dan by their families;
43 Всі Шухамові ро́ди за їхнім перелі́ченням: шістдеся́т і чотири тисячі і чоти́риста.
all the families of the Shuhamite by their numbered ones—sixty-four thousand and four hundred.
44 Аси́рові сини́ за їхніми ро́дами: від Їмни — рід Їмнин, від Їшві рід Їшвіїв, від Берії — рід Беріїв.
Sons of Asher by their families: of Jimna [is] the family of the Jimnite; of Jesui the family of the Jesuite; of Beriah the family of the Beriite.
45 Сини Берії: від Хевера — рід Хеверів, від Малкіїла — рід Малкіїлів,
Of sons of Beriah: of Heber [is] the family of the Heberite; of Malchiel the family of the Malchielite.
46 а ймення Аси́рової дочки́ Сарах.
And the name of the daughter of Asher [is] Sarah.
47 Оце ро́ди Аси́рових синів за їхнім переліченням: п'ятдеся́т і три тисячі й чотириста.
These [are] families of the sons of Asher by their numbered ones—fifty-three thousand and four hundred.
48 Сини Нефтали́мові за їхніми ро́дами: від Яхцеїла — рід Яхцеїлів, від Ґуні — рід Ґуніїв,
Sons of Naphtali by their families: of Jahzeel [is] the family of the Jahzeelite; of Guni the family of the Gunite;
49 від Єцера — рід Єцерів, від Шіллема — рід Шіллемів.
of Jezer the family of the Jezerite; of Shillem the family of the Shillemite.
50 Оце ро́ди Нефтали́мові за їхніми ро́дами й за їхнім перелі́ченням: сорок і п'ять тисяч і чотириста.
These [are] families of Naphtali by their families, and their numbered ones [are] forty-five thousand and four hundred.
51 Оце перелічені Ізраїлевих синів: шістсот тисяч і тисяча й сімсо́т і тридцять.
These [are] numbered ones of the sons of Israel—six hundred thousand and one thousand seven hundred and thirty.
52 І промовив Господь до Мойсея, говорячи:
And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
53 Для цих буде поділений край у спа́док за числом імен.
“The land is apportioned to these by inheritance, by the number of names;
54 Числе́нному примно́жиш спа́дщину його, — а малому зме́ншиш спа́док його, кожному за переліченням його буде дана спа́дщина його.
to the many you increase their inheritance, and to the few you diminish their inheritance; each is given his inheritance according to his numbered ones.
55 Тільки жеребко́м поділиться землю, — вони будуть володіти за іменами племе́н їхніх батьків.
Surely the land is apportioned by lot; they inherit by the names of the tribes of their fathers;
56 За жеребком буде поділена спа́дщина його поміж числе́нним та мали́м.
their inheritance is apportioned according to the lot between many and few.”
57 А оце перелічені Левити за їхніми ро́дами: від Ґершона — рід Ґершонів, від Кегата — рід Кегатів, від Мерарі — рід Мераріїв.
And these [are] numbered ones of the Levite by their families: of Gershon [is] the family of the Gershonite; of Kohath the family of the Kohathite; of Merari the family of the Merarite.
58 Оце роди Леві́єві: рід Левіїв, рід Хевроніїв, рід Махліїв, рід Мушіїв, рід Кореїв, а Кегат породив Амрама.
These [are] families of the Levite: the family of the Libnite, the family of the Hebronite, the family of the Mahlite, the family of the Mushite, the family of the Korathite. And Kohath has begotten Amram,
59 А ймення Амрамової жінки — Йохевед, дочка́ Левіева, що вродила її Левієві жінка його в Єгипті, а вона вродила Амрамові Аарона, і Мойсея, і сестру їх Марія́м.
and the name of Amram’s wife is Jochebed, daughter of Levi, whom has been born to Levi in Egypt; and she bears to Amram Aaron, and Moses, and their sister Miriam.
60 І вродилися Ааро́нові Надав, й Авігу, й Елеазар, й Ітамар.
And born to Aaron [are] Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar;
61 А Надав та Авігу померли, коли вони прино́сили чужий огонь перед Господнє лице.
and Nadab dies—Abihu also—in their bringing strange fire near before YHWH.
62 І були́ їхні перелічені — двадцять і три тисячі, кожен чоловічої статі від місячного віку й вище; бо вони не були перелічені серед Ізраїлевих синів, — не да́на бо їм спа́дщина серед Ізраїлевих синів.
And their numbered ones are twenty-three thousand, every male from a son of a month and upwards, for they have not numbered themselves in the midst of the sons of Israel, because an inheritance has not been given to them in the midst of the sons of Israel.
63 Оце перелічені Мойсея та священика Елеаза́ра, що перелічували Ізраїлевих синів у моавських степа́х над приєрихо́нським Йорда́ном.
These [are] those numbered by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who have numbered the sons of Israel in the plains of Moab by the Jordan, [near] Jericho;
64 А серед тих не було вже нікого з перелічених Мойсея та священика Аарона, що перелічували Ізраїлевих синів на Сінайській пустині,
and among these there has not been a man of those numbered by Moses and Aaron the priest, who numbered the sons of Israel in the wilderness of Sinai,
65 бо Господь був сказав їм: „Конче повмираєте ви на пустині“. І не позостався з них ніхто, крім Кале́ва, сина Єфуннеєвого, та Ісуса, сина Нави́нового.
for YHWH said of them, “They certainly die in the wilderness”; and there has not been left a man of them, except Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun.
