Михей 1
1 Слово Господнє, що було до морешетського Михе́я за днів Йотама, Ахаза та Єзекії, Юдиних царів, яке він бачив на Самарію та Єрусалим.
The Lord’s message which came to Micah of Morsheth in the reigns of Jotham, Ahaz and Hezekiah, kings of Judah. The visions he saw about Samaria and Jerusalem.
2 „Почуйте оце, всі наро́ди, послухай, ти земле та все, що на ній! і хай буде за свідка на вас Господь Бог, Господь з храму святого Свого́!
Listen, all you peoples! Pay attention, all you inhabitants of the earth! For the Lord God will be a witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple!
3 Бо Госпо́дь ось виходить із місця Свого́, і Він сходить і ступає по висо́тах землі.
The Lord is coming from his holy place, he descends and treads on the heights of the earth,
4 І то́пляться гори під Ним, і та́нуть доли́ни, мов віск від огню́, мов ті во́ди, що ллються з узбі́ччя.
so that the mountains melt beneath like wax in the presence of the fire, and the valleys break apart like water poured down a steep descent.
5 Усе це за прови́нення Якова, за гріхи́ дому Ізраїля. Хто провинення Якова, — чи ж не Самарія? А хто гріх дому Юдиного, — чи ж не Єрусали́м?
All this is because of the crime of Jacob, and for the sin of the house of Israel. What was the crime of Jacob? Was it not Samaria? What is the sin of Judah? Is it not Jerusalem?
6 І зроблю́ Самарі́ю руїною в полі, за місце сади́ти виноград, і повикида́ю в долину камі́ння її, і відкрию осно́ви її.
“I will make Samaria a ruin in an open field, and a place where a vineyard is planted, I will hurl down her stones into the valley, and lay bare her foundations.
7 І пото́вчені будуть усі її і́доли, всі ж дару́нки її за розпусту попа́лені бу́дуть в огні, і всіх бовва́нів її Я віддам на спусто́шення. Бо зібрала вона від дару́нків за блуд, і на подару́нки за блуд це пове́рнеться.
“All her images will be shattered, and all her statues will be burned with fire, and all her idols I will lay in ruins. For they were acquired by prostitution, and to prostitution they will return.”
8 Над оцим голоси́тиму я та рида́тиму, ходитиму бо́сий й наги́й, заво́дити буду, немов ті шака́ли, і буду тужи́ти, як стру́сі!
This is why I will mourn and wail, I will go barefoot and naked, I will howl like the jackals and mourn like the desert owl.
9 Бо рани її невиго́йні, бо це аж до Юди прийшло, воно досягло́ аж до брами наро́ду Мого, аж до Єрусалиму.

10 Цього не оголо́шуйте в Ґаті, і плакати — не плачте, качайтесь по по́росі в Бет-Леафрі.

11 Переходь собі ти, о мешка́нко Шафіру, нага́, осоро́млена, — вже бо не вийде мешка́нка Цаанану, голосі́ння Бет-Гаецелу не дасть вам спини́тися в ньому.
Pass by, inhabitants of Shaphir, naked and ashamed! The inhabitants of Zaanan cannot leave their city. Beth-ezel laments and removes its support from you.
12 Бо мешка́нка Мароту чекала добра, та до єрусалимської брами зійшло оце лихо від Господа.
The inhabitants of Maroth wait anxiously for good! But the Lord has sent disaster to the gates of Jerusalem.
13 Запряжи баскі ко́ні до воза, мешка́нко Лахішу! Ти поча́ток гріха́ для сіонської до́ньки, бо знайшли́сь серед тебе провини Ізраїлеві,
Harness the horse to the chariot, inhabitants of Lachish. You led the daughter of Zion, Jerusalem, into sin, in you are found the crimes of Israel.
14 тому́ то даси розводо́ві листи на Морешет-Ґат. Доми Ахзіва — ома́на для Ізраїлевих царів.
Therefore you must give parting gifts to Moresheth-gath. Beth-achzib will betray the kings of Israel.
15 Спрова́джу тобі те спадкоє́мця Я, о мешка́нко Мареші, — Аж по Адуллам прийде слава Ізраїля.

16 Зроби собі лисину та острижися за синів своїх лю́бих, пошир свою лисину, мов ув орла́, бо пішли на вигна́ння від тебе вони!
