Ісус Навин 13
1 А Ісус поста́рівся й увійшов у дні. І сказав Господь до нього: „Ти поста́рівся та ввійшов у дні, а кра́ю позостається ще дуже багато, щоб посісти його.
Many years had passed by, and Joshua had grown old. The Lord spoke to him, saying, “You're now an old man, but there's still a great deal of land still to be taken.
2 Оце позосталий край: усі округи филисти́мські, і ввесь Ґешурей,
This is the remaining land: the territory of all the Philistines and all the Geshurites,
3 від Шіхору, що навпроти Єгипту, і аж до границі Екрону на пі́вніч, що до ханаанеянина залічений, п'ять филистимських князів: аззатський, ашдодський, ашкелонський, ґаттійський і екронський, та аввеї.
from the Shihur River on the border with Egypt north to the border of Ekron—all of which is counted as Canaanite but comes under the five Philistine lords of Gaza, Ashdod, Ashkelon, Gath, and Ekron. In addition there's the land of the Avvites
4 Від пі́вдня вся ханаанська земля та Меара, що сидонська, аж до Афеки, аж до аморейської границі,
in the south, all the land of the Canaanites, and Mearah that belongs to the Sidonians, all the way to Aphek on the border with the Amorites,
5 і ґівлейська земля, і ввесь Ливан на схід сонця від Баал-Ґаду під горою Гермон аж до входу до Хамату.
as well as the land of the Gebalites and the Lebanon area from the town of Baalgad to the slopes of Mount Hermon to Lebo-hamath,
6 Усіх ме́шканців гір від Ливану аж до Місрефот-Маїму, усіх сидо́нян, — Я повиганяю їх перед Ізраїлевими синами. Тільки поділи́ її жеребком на спа́док Ізра́їлеві, як Я наказав був тобі.
and the those who live in the hill country from Lebanon to Misrephoth Maim, including all the land of the Sidonians. I myself will drive them out ahead of the Israelites. Just allocate the land to Israel for them to own, as I have commanded you.
7 А тепер поділи цей край на спа́док дев'яти́ племе́нам та половині пле́мени Манасі́їному“.
So divide this land among the nine tribes and the half-tribe of Manasseh for them to own.”
8 Ра́зом із ним Руви́мові та Ґа́дові взяли свій спа́док що дав їм Мойсей по той бік Йорда́ну на схід, як дав їм Мойсей, раб Господній,
The other half of the tribe of Manasseh, and the tribes of Reuben and Gad, had already received their land grant on the east side of the Jordan, as allotted to them by Moses, the servant of the Lord.
9 від Ароеру, що на березі арнонського потоку, і місто, що серед тієї долини, і вся медевська рівнина аж до Дівону,
It stretched from Aroer on the edge of the Arnon valley, from the town in the middle of the valley, and all the plateau of Medeba, up to Dibon;
10 і всі міста Сигона, царя аморейського, що царював у Хешбоні, аж до границі Аммонових синів,
and all the towns that belonged to Sihon, king of the Amorites, who ruled in Heshbon, up to the border with the Ammonites.
11 і Ґілеад, і границя ґешурейська та маахейська, і вся гора Гермон, і ввесь Башан аж до Салхи,
In addition it included Gilead, the land of the Geshurites and Maacathites, all of Mount Hermon, and all of Bashan as far as Salecah,
12 усе царство Оґа в Башані, що царював в Аштароті та в Едреї, — він позостався з останку рефаїв, а Мойсей повбивав їх та повиганяв їх.
as well as all the land of the kingdom of Og of Bashan, who had ruled in Ashtaroth and Edrei. He was one of the last of the Rephaites. Moses had defeated them and driven them out.
13 І не вигнали Ізраїлеві сини ґешуре́янина, і маахате́янина, — і сидів Ґешур та Маахат серед Ізраїля, і так є аж до цього дня.
But the Israelites had not driven out the Geshurites or the Maacathites, who still live among them to this very day.
14 Тільки Левієвому племені не дав він спа́дку, — огняні́ жертви Господа, Бога Ізраїля, то спа́док його, „як Я говорив був йому.“
Moses did not allocate any land for the Levites to own. Instead they were allotted the offerings made by fire to the Lord, the God of Israel, as the Lord had promised them.
15 І дав Мойсей племені Рувимових синів спа́док за їхніми ро́дами.
This was the land that Moses allotted to the tribe of Reuben, by families:
16 І була їм границя від Ароеру, що на березі арнонського потоку, і місто, що серед тієї долини, і вся рівни́на при Медеві,
Their territory stretched from Aroer on the edge of the Arnon valley, from the town in the middle of the valley, and all the plateau of Medeba;
17 Хешбон і всі міста його, що на рівнині, Дівон, і Бамот-Баал, і Бет-Баал-Меон,
Heshbon and all associated towns on the plateau—Dibon, Bamoth Baal, Beth Baal Meon,
18 і Ягца, і Кедемот, і Мефаат,
Jahaz, Kedemoth, Mephaath,
19 і Кір'ятаїм, і Сівма, і Церет-Гашшахар на горі Емеку,
Kiriathaim, Sibmah, Zereth-shahar, on a hill in the valley,
20 і Бет-Пеор, і узбіччя Пісґі, і Бет-Гаєшімот,
Beth-peor, the slopes of Pisgah, Beth-jeshimoth—
21 і всі міста рівни́ни, і все царство Сигона, царя аморейського, що царював у Хешбоні, що Мойсей убив його та мідіянських начальників: Евія, і Рекема, і Цура, і Хура, і Реву, сигонових князів, мешканців того кра́ю.
all the towns of the plateau and all the kingdom of Sihon, the Amorite king, who ruled in Heshbon. He was defeated by Moses, as well as the Midianite leaders Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur, and Reba, princes who lived in the kingdom and who were allied to Sihon.
22 А Валаама, Беорового сина, чарівника́, Ізраїлеві сини забили мечем серед інших, яких вони побили.
At the same time the Israelites killed Balaam, son of Beor, the fortune-teller, along with the others who were slaughtered.
23 І була́ границя Рувимових синів: Йорда́н і границя. Це спа́док Рувимових синів за їхніми родами, їхні міста та їхні оселі.
The Jordan was the boundary for the tribe of Reuben. This was the land, the towns and the villages, allotted to the tribe of Reuben, by families.
24 І дав Мойсей Ґадовому племені, синам Ґада за їхніми родами,
This was the land that Moses allotted to the tribe of Gad, by families:
25 і була їм границя: Язер, і всі ґілеадські міста, і половина краю аммонових синів аж до Ароеру, що навпроти Рабби,
Their territory was Jazer, all the towns of Gilead, and half of the land of the Ammonites up to Aroer, near Rabbah;
26 А з Хешбону аж до Рамат Гамміцпі й Бетоніму, а від Маханаїму аж до границі Девіру,
stretching from Heshbon to Ramath-mizpeh and Betonim, and from Mahanaim to the Debir region.
27 і в долині Бет-Гараму, і Бет-Німра, і Суккот, і Цафон, останок царства Сигона, царя хешбонського, Йорда́н і границя аж до кінця озера Кіннерет по тім боці Йорда́ну на схід.
In the Jordan valley lay Beth-haram, Beth-nimrah, Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon, king of Heshbon. The boundary ran along the Jordan up to the bottom end of the sea of Kinnereth and then ran east.
28 Це спа́док Ґадових синів за їхніми ро́дами, міста та їхні оселі.
This was the land, the towns and the villages, allotted to the tribe of Gad, by families.
29 І дав Мойсей половині племени Манасіїного, і воно було половині племени Манасіїних синів за їхніми ро́дами.
This was the land that Moses allotted to the half-tribe of Manasseh, that is half of the tribe of the descendants of Manasseh, by families:
30 І була їхня границя від Манахаїму, увесь Башан, усе царство Оґа, царя башанського, і всі села Яіру, що в Башані, шістдеся́т міст.
Their territory stretched from Manahaim through the whole of Bashan, all the kingdom of Og, and all the towns of Jair in Bashan—sixty in all.
31 А половина Ґілеаду, і Аштарот, і Едрея, міста Оґового царства в Башані, — синам Махіра, Манасіїного сина, половині синів Махіра за їхніми ро́дами.
Also included was Gilead, and Ashtaroth and Edrei, the towns of king Og in Bashan. This was the land allotted to the descendants of Machir, son of Manasseh, for half of them, by families.
32 Оце те, що Мойсей дав на спа́док в моавських степа́х по тім боці Йорда́ну на схід.
These were the allocations that Moses made when he was in the plains of Moab, on the other side of the Jordan, east of Jericho.
33 А Левієвому племені Мойсей не дав спа́дку, — Господь, Бог Ізраїлів, Він їхній спа́док, як говорив їм.
However, Moses did not allot any land to the Levites, for the Lord, the God of Israel, had promised them that he would be their allocation.
