Від Івана 12
1 Ісус же за шість день до Пасхи прибув до Віфа́нії, де жив Лазар, що його воскресив Ісус із мертвих.
Then Iesus, sixe dayes before the Passeouer, came to Bethania, where Lazarus was, who died, whom he had raised from the dead.
2 І для Нього вече́рю там спра́вили, а Марта прислуго́вувала. Був же й Лазар одним із тих, що до столу з Ним сіли.
There they made him a supper, and Martha serued: but Lazarus was one of them that sate at the table with him.
3 А Марія взяла літру мира, — з найдоро́жчого на́рду паху́чого, і намасти́ла Ісусові но́ги, і воло́ссям своїм Йому но́ги обтерла. І пахощі мира наповнили дім!
Then tooke Mary a pound of oyntment of Spikenarde very costly, and anoynted Iesus feete, and wiped his feete with her heare, and the house was filled with the sauour of the oyntment.
4 І говорить один з Його учнів, Юда Іскаріо́тський, що мав Його видати:
Then said one of his disciples, euen Iudas Iscariot Simons sonne, which should betray him:
5 „Чому мира оцього за триста дина́рів не про́дано, та й не ро́здано вбогим?“
Why was not this oyntment sold for three hundreth pence, and giuen to the poore?
6 А це він сказав не тому́, що про вбогих журився, а тому́, що був зло́дій: він мав скриньку на гроші, — і крав те, що вкида́ли.
Nowe he said this, not that he cared for the poore, but because hee was a theefe, and had the bagge, and bare that which was giuen.
7 І промовив Ісус: „Позостав її ти, — це вона на день по́хорону заховала Мені.
Then said Iesus, Let her alone: against the day of my burying she kept it.
8 Бо вбогих ви маєте за́вжди з собою, а Мене не постійно ви маєте!“
For the poore alwayes yee haue with you, but me ye shall not haue alwayes.
9 А на́товп великий юдеїв довідався, що Він там, та й поприхо́дили не з-за Ісуса Само́го, але щоб побачити й Лазаря, що його воскресив Він із мертвих.
Then much people of the Iewes knewe that hee was there: and they came, not for Iesus sake onely, but that they might see Lazarus also, whome he had raysed from the dead.
10 А первосвященики змо́вилися, щоб і Лазареві смерть заподіяти,
The hie Priestes therefore consulted, that they might put Lazarus to death also,
11 бо багато з юдеїв з-за нього відхо́дили, та в Ісуса ввірували.
Because that for his sake many of the Iewes went away, and beleeued in Iesus.
12 А другого дня, коли бе́зліч наро́ду, що зібрався на свято, прочула, що до Єрусалиму надходить Ісус,
On the morowe a great multitude that were come to the feast, when they heard that Iesus should come to Hierusalem,
13 то взяли́ вони па́льмове ві́ття, і вийшли назу́стріч Йому та й кричали: „Оса́нна! Благослове́нний, хто йде у Господнє Ім'я́! Цар Ізраїлів!“
Tooke branches of palme trees, and went foorth to meete him, and cried, Hosanna, Blessed is the King of Israel that commeth in the Name of the Lord.
14 Ісус же, знайшовши осля, сів на нього, як написано:
And Iesus found a yong asse, and sate thereon, as it is written,
15 „Не бійся, до́чко Сіонська! Ото Цар твій іде, сидячи́ на ослі молодому!“
Feare not, daughter of Sion: behold, thy King commeth sitting on an asses colte.
16 А учні Його спочатку́ того не зрозуміли були́, але, як прославивсь Ісус, то згадали тоді, що про Нього було так написано, і що цеє вчинили Йому́.
But his disciples vnderstoode not these thinges at the first: but when Iesus was glorified, then remembred they, that these thinges were written of him, and that they had done these things vnto him.
17 Тоді свідчив наро́д, який був із Ним, що Він викликав Лазаря з гро́бу, і воскресив його з мертвих.
The people therefore that was with him, bare witnesse that hee called Lazarus out of the graue, and raised him from the dead.
18 Через це й зустрів на́товп Його, бо почув, що Він учинив таке чудо.
Therefore mette him the people also, because they heard that he had done this miracle.
19 Фарисеї тоді між собою казали: „Ви бачите, що нічо́го не вдієте: ось пішов увесь світ услід за Ним!“
And the Pharises said among themselues, Perceiue ye howe ye preuaile nothing? Beholde, the worlde goeth after him.
20 А між тими, що в свято прийшли поклонитись, були й деякі ге́ллени.
Nowe there were certaine Greekes among them that came vp to worship at the feast.
21 І вони підійшли до Пилипа, що з Віфсаї́ди Галілейської, і просили його та казали: „Ми хочемо, пане, побачити Ісуса“.
And they came to Philippe, which was of Bethsaida in Galile, and desired him, saying, Syr, we would see that Iesus.
22 Іде Пилип та Андрієві каже; іде Андрій і Пилип та Ісусові розповідають.
Philippe came and tolde Andrew: and againe Andrew and Philippe tolde Iesus.
23 Ісус же їм відповідає, говорячи: „Надійшла́ година, щоб Син Лю́дський просла́вивсь.
And Iesus answered them, saying, The houre is come, that the Sonne of man must bee glorified.
24 Поправді, поправді кажу́ вам: коли зе́рно пшеничне, як у землю впаде́, не помре, то одне зостається; як умре ж, плід рясни́й принесе́.
Verely, verely I say vnto you, Except the wheate corne fall into the grounde and die, it bideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth foorth much fruite.
25 Хто кохає душу свою, той погубить її; хто ж нена́видить душу свою на цім світі, — збереже її в вічне життя. (aiōnios g166)
He that loueth his life, shall lose it, and he that hateth his life in this world, shall keepe it vnto life eternall. (aiōnios g166)
26 Як хто служить Мені, хай іде той за Мною, і де Я, там буде й слуга Мій. Як хто служить Мені, того пошану́є Отець.
If any man serue me, let him follow me: for where I am, there shall also my seruant be: and if any man serue me, him will my Father honour.
27 Затривожена зараз душа Моя. І що Я пові́м? Заступи Мене, Отче, від цієї години! Та на те Я й прийшов на годину оцю́...
Now is my soule troubled: and what shall I say? Father, saue me from this houre: but therefore came I vnto this houre.
28 Прослав, Отче, Ім'я́ Своє!“Залуна́в тоді голос із неба: „І прославив, — і зно́ву прославлю!“
Father, glorifie thy Name. Then came there a voyce from heauen, saying, I haue both glorified it, and will glorifie it againe.
29 А наро́д, що стояв і почув, говорив: „Загреміло"! Інші казали: „ Це ангол Йому говорив“!
Then saide the people that stoode by, and heard, that it was a thunder: other said, An Angel spake to him.
30 Ісус відповів і сказав: „Не для Мене цей голос луна́в, а для вас.
Iesus answered, and said, This voyce came not because of me, but for your sakes.
31 Тепер суд цьому світові. Князь світу цього буде ви́гнаний звідси тепер.
Now is the iudgement of this world: nowe shall the prince of this world be cast out.
32 І, як буду підне́сений з землі, то до Себе Я всіх притягну́“.
And I, if I were lift vp from the earth, will drawe all men vnto me.
33 А Він це говорив, щоб зазна́чити, якою то смертю Він має померти.
Nowe this sayd he, signifying what death he should die.
34 А наро́д відповів Йому́: „Ми чули з Зако́ну, що Христос перебуває повік, то чого ж Ти говориш, що Лю́дському Сину потрібно підне́сеному бути? Хто такий Цей Син Лю́дський?“ (aiōn g165)
The people answered him, We haue heard out of the Law, that that Christ bideth for euer: and howe sayest thou, that that Sonne of man must be lift vp? Who is that Sonne of man? (aiōn g165)
35 І сказав їм Ісус: „Короткий ще час світло з вами. Ходіть, поки маєте світло, щоб вас те́мрява не обгорну́ла. А хто в те́мряві ходить, не знає, куди він іде.
Then Iesus sayd vnto them, Yet a litle while is the light with you: walke while ye haue that light, lest the darkenes come vpon you: for hee that walketh in the darke, knoweth not whither he goeth.
36 Аж доки ви маєте світло, то віруйте в світло, щоб синами світла ви стали“. Промовивши це, Ісус відійшов, і схова́вся від них.
While ye haue that light, beleeue in that light, that ye may be the children of the light. These things spake Iesus, and departed, and hid himselfe from them.
37 І хоч Він стільки чуд перед ними вчинив був, та в Нього вони не ввірували,
And though he had done so many miracles before them, yet beleeued they not on him,
38 щоб спра́вдилось слово пророка Ісаї, який провіща́в: „Хто повірив тому́, що ми, Господи, чули, а Господнє раме́но кому́ об'яви́лось?“
That the saying of Esaias the Prophete might be fulfilled, that he sayd, Lord, who beleeued our report? and to whome is the arme of the Lord reueiled?
39 Тому́ не могли вони вірити, що зно́ву Ісая прорік:
Therefore could they not beleeue, because that Esaias saith againe,
40 „Засліпив їхні очі, і скам'янив їхнє серце, щоб очима не бачили, ані серцем щоб не зрозуміли, і не наверну́лись, щоб Я їх уздоро́вив!“
He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart, that they shoulde not see with their eyes, nor vnderstand with their heart, and should be conuerted, and I should heale them.
41 Це Ісая сказав, коли бачив славу Його, і про Нього звіща́в.
These things sayd Esaias when he sawe his glory, and spake of him.
42 Проте́ багато-хто навіть із старших у Нього ввірували, та не признавались через фарисеїв, — щоб не вигнано їх із синагоги.
Neuertheles, euen among the chiefe rulers, many beleeued in him: but because of the Pharises they did not confesse him, least they should be cast out of the Synagogue.
43 Бо любили вони славу людську більше, аніж славу Божу.
For they loued the prayse of men, more then the prayse of God.
44 А Ісус підняв голос, та й промовляв: „Хто вірує в Мене, не в Мене він вірує, але в Того, Хто послав Мене.
And Iesus cryed, and sayd, He that beleeueth in me, beleeueth not in me, but in him that sent me.
45 А хто бачить Мене, той бачить Того, хто послав Мене.
And he that seeth me, seeth him that sent me.
46 Я, Світло, на світ прийшов, щоб кожен, хто вірує в Мене, у те́мряві не зоставався.
I am come a light into the world, that whosoeuer beleeueth in me, should not abide in darkenes.
47 Коли б же хто слів Моїх слухав та не вірував, Я того не суджу́, бо Я не прийшов світ судити, але щоб спасти світ.
And if any man heare my wordes, and beleeue not, I iudge him not: for I came not to iudge the world, but to saue the world.
48 Хто цурається Мене, і Моїх слів не приймає, той має для себе суддю́: те слово, що Я говорив, — останнього дня воно бу́де судити його!
He that refuseth me, and receiueth not my wordes, hath one that iudgeth him: the worde that I haue spoken, it shall iudge him in the last day.
49 Бо від Себе Я не говорив, а Отець, що послав Мене, — то Він Мені заповідь дав, що́ Я маю казати та що́ говорити.
For I haue not spoken of my selfe: but the Father which sent me, hee gaue me a commandement what I should say, and what I should speake.
