Йов 4
1 І відповів теманянин Еліфа́з та й сказав:
and to answer Eliphaz [the] Temanite and to say
2 „Коли спро́бувать слово до те́бе, — чи мука не бу́де ще більша? Та хто стри́мати зможе слова́?

3 Таж ти́ багатьо́х був навчав, а ру́ки осла́блі зміцняв,
behold to discipline many and hand weak to strengthen: strengthen
4 того, хто́ спотика́всь, підіймали слова́ твої, а коліна тремткі́ ти зміцняв!
to stumble to arise: establish [emph?] speech your and knee to bow to strengthen
5 А тепер, як нещастя на тебе найшло, то ти змучився, тебе досягло́ воно — і ти налякався.
for now to come (in): come to(wards) you and be weary to touch till you and to dismay
6 Хіба не була́ бого бійність твоя за наді́ю твою, за твоє сподіва́ння — невинність доріг твоїх?
not fear your confidence your hope your and integrity way: conduct your
7 Пригада́й но, чи гинув невинний, і де праведні ви́гублені?
to remember please who? he/she/it innocent to perish and where? upright to hide
8 Як я бачив таких, що орали були́ беззако́ння, та сі́яли кривду, то й жали її:
like/as as which to see: see to plow/plot evil: wickedness and to sow trouble to reap him
9 вони гинуть від по́диху Божого, і́ від духу гнівно́го Його погибають!
from breath god to perish and from spirit: breath face: anger his to end: destroy
10 Леви́не рича́ння й рик лютого лева минає, і левчука́м вилуща́ються зуби.
roaring lion and voice lion and tooth lion to break
11 Гине лев, як немає здоби́чі, і левеня́та леви́ці втікають.
lion to perish from without prey and son: young animal lion to separate
12 І закрада́ється слово до мене, і моє ухо почуло ось де́що від нього.
and to(wards) me word to steal and to take: recieve ear my whisper from him
13 У розду́муваннях над нічни́ми виді́ннями, коли́ міцний сон обіймає людей,
in/on/with disquietings from vision night in/on/with to fall: fall deep sleep upon human
14 спіткав мене жах та тремті́ння, і багато косте́й моїх він струсону́в, —
dread to encounter: toward me and trembling and abundance bone my to dread
15 і дух перейшов по обличчі моїм, стало ду́ба воло́сся на тілі моїм.

16 Він стояв, але я не пізнав його ви́гляду, — образ навпро́ти очей моїх був, і тихий голос почув я:

17 „Хіба́ праведні́ша люди́на за Бога, хіба чоловік за свойо́го Творця́ є чистіший?

18 Таж рабам Своїм Він не йме віри, і накладає вину й на Своїх Анголі́в!

19 Що́ ж тоді ме́шканці гли́няних хат, що в по́росі їхня основа? — Як міль, вион будуть розча́влені!

20 Вони то́вчені зра́нку до вечора, — і без по́мочі гинуть наза́вжди.

21 Слава їхня мина́ється з ними, — вони помирають не в мудрості!
