Буття 1
1 На поча́тку Бог створив небо та землю.
In the beginning God created the heauen and the earth.
2 А земля́ була пуста та порожня, і те́мрява була над безоднею, і Дух Божий ширяв над поверхнею води.
And the earth was without forme and void, and darkenesse was vpon the deepe, and the Spirit of God mooued vpon the waters.
3 І сказав Бог: „Хай станеться світло!“І сталося світло.
Then God said, Let there be light: And there was light.
4 І побачив Бог світло, що добре воно, — і Бог відділив світло від те́мряви.
And God saw the light that it was good, and God separated the light from the darkenes.
5 І Бог назвав світло: „День“, а темряву назвав: „Ніч“. І був вечір, і був ранок, — день перший.
And God called the Light, Day, and the darkenes, he called Night. So the euening and the morning were the first day.
6 І сказав Бог: „Нехай станеться твердь посеред води, і нехай відділяє вона між водою й водою.“
Againe God said, Let there be a firmament in the mids of the waters: and let it separate the waters from the waters.
7 І Бог твердь учинив, і відділив воду, що під твердю вона, і воду, що над твердю вона. І сталося так.
Then God made the firmament, and separated the waters, which were vnder the firmament, from the waters which were aboue the firmament: and it was so.
8 І назвав Бог твердь: „Небо“. І був вечір, і був ранок — день другий.
And God called the firmament Heauen. So the Euening and the morning were the second day.
9 І сказав Бог: „Нехай збереться вода з-попід неба до місця одного, і нехай суходіл стане видний“. І сталося так.
God said againe, Let the waters vnder the heauen be gathered into one place, and let the dry land appeare. and it was so.
10 І назвав Бог суходіл: „Земля“, а місце зібра́ння води назвав: „Море“. І Бог побачив, що добре воно.
And God called the dry land, Earth, and he called the gathering together of the waters, Seas: and God saw that it was good.
11 І сказав Бог: „Нехай земля вродить траву, ярину, що насіння вона розсіває, дерево овочеве, що за родом своїм плід приносить, що в ньому насіння його на землі“. І сталося так.
Then God said, Let the earth bud forth the bud of the herbe, that seedeth seed, the fruitfull tree, which beareth fruite according to his kinde, which hath his seede in it selfe vpon the earth: and it was so.
12 І земля траву видала, ярину, що насіння розсіває за родом її, і дерево, що приносить плід, що насіння його в нім за родом його. І Бог побачив, що добре воно.
And the earth brought foorth the bud of the herbe, that seedeth seede according to his kind, also the tree that beareth fruit, which hath his seed in it selfe according to his kinde: and God saw that it was good.
13 І був вечір, і був ранок, — день третій.
So the euening and the morning were the third day.
14 І сказав Бог: „Нехай бу́дуть світила на тверді небесній для відділення дня від ночі, і нехай вони стануть знаками, і часами умовленими, і днями, і роками.
And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heauen, to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signes, and for seasons, and for dayes and yeeres.
15 І нехай вони стануть на тверді небесній світилами, щоб світити над землею“. І сталося так.
And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heauen to giue light vpon the earth: and it was so.
16 І вчинив Бог оби́два світила великі, — світило велике, щоб воно керувало днем, і світило мале, щоб керувало ніччю, також зорі.
God then made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesse light to rule the night: he made also the starres.
17 І Бог умістив їх на тверді небесній, щоб світили вони над землею,
And God set them in the firmament of the heauen, to shine vpon the earth,
18 і щоб керували днем та ніччю, і щоб відділювали світло від те́мряви. І Бог побачив, що це добре.
And to rule in the day, and in the night, and to separate the light from the darkenesse: and God saw that it was good.
19 І був вечір, і був ранок, — день четвертий.
So the euening and the morning were the fourth day.
20 І сказав Бог: „Нехай вода вироїть дрібні істоти, душу живу, і птаство, що літає над землею під небесною твердю“.
Afterward God said, Let the waters bring foorth in abundance euery creeping thing that hath life: and let the foule flie vpon the earth in the open firmament of the heauen.
21 І створив Бог риби великі, і всяку душу живу плазуючу, що її вода вироїла за їх родом, і всяку пташину крилату за родом її. І Бог побачив, що добре воно.
Then God created the great whales, and euery thing liuing and mouing, which the waters brought foorth in abundance according to their kinde, and euery fethered foule according to his kinde: and God sawe that it was good.
22 І поблагословив їх Бог, кажучи: „Плодіться й розмножуйтеся, і наповнюйте воду в морях, а птаство нехай розмножується на землі!“
Then God blessed them, saying, Bring foorth fruite and multiplie, and fill the waters in the seas, and let the foule multiplie in the earth.
23 І був вечір, і був ранок, — день п'ятий.
So the euening and the morning were the fifte day.
24 І сказав Бог: „Нехай видасть земля живу душу за родом її, худобу й плазуюче, і зе́мну звірину́ за родом її“. І сталося так.
Moreouer God said, Let the earth bring foorth the liuing thing according to his kinde, cattel, and that which creepeth, and the beast of the earth, according to his kinde. and it was so.
25 І вчинив Бог зе́мну звірину́ за родом її, і худобу за родом її, і все земне плазуюче за родом його. І бачив Бог, що добре воно.
And God made the beast of the earth according to his kinde, and the cattell according to his kinde, and euery creeping thing of the earth according to his kind: and God saw that it was good.
26 І сказав Бог: „Створімо людину за образом Нашим, за подобою Нашою, і хай панують над мо́рською рибою, і над птаством небесним, і над худобою, і над усею землею, і над усім плазуючим, що плазує по землі“.
Furthermore God said, Let vs make man in our image according to our likenes, and let them rule ouer the fish of the sea, and ouer the foule of the heauen, and ouer the beastes, and ouer all the earth, and ouer euery thing that creepeth and moueth on the earth.
27 І Бог на Свій образ людину створив, на образ Божий її Він створив, як чоловіка та жінку створив їх.
Thus God created the man in his image: in the image of God created he him: he created them male and female.
28 І поблагословив їх Бог, і сказав Бог до них: „Плодіться й розмножуйтеся, і наповнюйте землю, оволоді́йте нею, і пануйте над мо́рськими рибами, і над птаством небесним, і над кожним плазуючим живим на землі!“
And God blessed them, and God said to them, Bring forth fruite and multiplie, and fill the earth, and subdue it, and rule ouer the fish of the sea, and ouer the foule of the heauen, and ouer euery beast that moueth vpon the earth.
29 І сказав Бог: „Оце дав Я вам усю ярину, що розсіває насіння, що на всій землі, і кожне дерево, що на ньому плід деревни́й, що воно розсіває насіння, — нехай буде на їжу це вам!
And God said, Beholde, I haue giuen vnto you euery herbe bearing seede, which is vpon al the earth, and euery tree, wherein is the fruite of a tree bearing seede: that shall be to you for meate.
30 І зе́мній усій звірині і всьому птаству небесному, і кожному, що плазує по землі, що душа в ньому жива, — уся зелень яринна на їжу для них.“І сталося так.
Likewise to euery beast of the earth, and to euery foule of the heauen, and to euery thing that moueth vpon the earth, which hath life in it selfe, euery greene herbe shall be for meate. and it was so.
31 І побачив Бог усе, що вчинив. І ото, — вельми добре воно! І був вечір, і був ранок, — день шостий.
And God sawe all that he had made, and loe, it was very good. So the euening and the morning were the sixt day.
