Буття 6
1 І сталося, що розпочала люди́на розмножуватись на поверхні землі, і їм народилися дочки.
And whanne men bigunnen to be multiplied on erthe, and hadden gendrid douytris,
2 І побачили Божі сини лю́дських дочок, що вродливі вони, і взяли собі жінок із усіх, яких вибрали.
the sones of God seiyen the douytris of men that thei weren faire, and token wyues to hem of alle whiche thei hadden chose.
3 І промовив Господь: „Не буде Мій Дух перемагатися в люди́ні навіки, — бо блудить вона. Вона тіло, і дні її будуть сто і двадцять літ“.
And God seide, My spirit schal not dwelle in man with outen ende, for he is fleisch; and the daies of hym schulen be an hundrid and twenti yeer.
4 За тих днів на землі були ве́летні, а також по тому, як стали прихо́дити Божі сини до лю́дських дочок. І вони їм народжували, — то були силачі, що славні від віку.
Sotheli giauntis weren on erthe in tho daies, forsothe aftir that the sones of God entriden to the douytris of men, and tho douytris gendriden; these weren myyti of the world and famouse men.
5 І бачив Господь, що велике розбе́щення людини на землі, і ввесь нахил думки серця її — тільки зло повсякде́нно.
Sotheli God seiy that myche malice of men was in erthe, and that al the thouyt of herte was ententif to yuel in al tyme,
6 І пожалкував був Господь, що людину створив на землі. І засмутився Він у серці Своїм.
and repentide him that he hadde maad man in erthe; and God was war bifore ayens tyme to comyng, and was touchid with sorewe of herte with ynne;
7 І промовив Господь: „Зітру Я люди́ну, яку Я створив, з поверхні землі, — від людини аж до скотини, аж до плазунів, і аж до птаства небесного. Бо жалкую, що їх Я вчини́в“.
and seide, Y schal do awei man, whom Y made of nouyt, fro the face of the erthe, fro man til to lyuynge thingis, fro crepynge beeste til to the briddis of heuene; for it repentith me that Y made hem.
8 Але Ной знайшов милість у Господніх очах.
Forsothe Noe foond grace bifore the Lord.
9 Це ось о́повість про Ноя. Ной був чоловік праведний і невинний у своїх поколіннях. Ной з Богом ходив.
These ben the generaciouns of Noe. Noe was a iust man and perfit in hise generaciouns; Noe yede with God,
10 І Ной породив трьох синів: Сима, Хама й Яфета,
and gendride thre sones, Sem, Cam, and Jafeth.
11 І зіпсулась земля перед Божим лицем, і напо́внилась земля насильством.
Forsothe the erthe was corrupt bifore God, and was fillid with wickidnes.
12 І бачив Бог землю, — і ось зіпсулась вона, кожне бо тіло зіпсуло дорогу свою на землі.
And whanne God seiy, that the erthe was corrupt, for ech fleisch ether man hadde corrupt his weie on erthe,
13 І промовив Господь до Ноя: „Прийшов кінець кожному тілу перед лицем Моїм, бо напо́внилась земля насильством від них. І ось Я винищу їх із землі.
he seide to Noe, The ende of al fleisch is comen bifore me; the erthe is fillid with wickidnesse of the face of hem, and Y schal distrye hem with the erthe.
14 Зроби собі ковчега з дерева ґофер. З перегородками зробиш ковчега, і смолою осмолиш його ізсере́дини та ізнадвору.
Make thou to thee a schip of trees hewun and planed; thou schalt make dwellynge placis in the schip, and thou schalt anoynte it with pitche with ynne and with outforth.
15 І отак його зробиш: три сотні ліктів довжина ковчега, п'ятдесят ліктів ширина йому, а тридцять ліктів височина йому.
And so thou schalt make it. The lengthe of the schip schal be of thre hundrid cubitis, the brede schal be of fifti cubitis, and the hiynesse therof schal be of thretti cubitis.
16 Отвір учиниш в ковчезі, і звузиш на лікоть його від гори, а вхід до ковчегу влашту́єш на боці його. Зробиш його на поверхи долішні, другорядні й третьорядні.
Thou schalt make a wyndow in the schip, and thou schalt ende the hiynesse therof in a cubite; sotheli thou schalt sette the dore of the schip in the side binethe; thou shalt make soleris and placis of thre chaumbris in the schip.
17 А Я ось наведу́ пото́п, воду на землю, щоб з-під неба винищити кожне тіло, що в ньому дух життя. Помре все, що на землі!
Lo! Y schal brynge `watris of diluuye ether greet flood on erthe, and Y schal sle ech fleisch in which is the spirit of lijf vndir heuene, and alle thingis that ben in erthe, schulen be wastid.
18 І складу Я заповіта Свойого з тобою, і вві́йдеш до ковчегу ти, і сини твої, і жінка твоя, і жінки́ твоїх синів із тобою.
And Y schal sette my couenaunt of pees with thee; and thou schalt entre in to the schip, and thy sones, and thi wijf, and the wiues of thi sones schulen entre with thee.
19 І впровадиш до ковчегу по двоє з усього, — з усього живого, із кожного тіла, щоб їх заховати живими з тобою. Вони будуть самець і самиця.
And of alle lyuynge beestis of al fleisch thou schalt brynge in to the schip tweyne and tweyne, of male kynde and female, that thei lyue with thee;
20 Із птаства за родом його, і з худоби за родом її, із усіх плазунів на землі за родом їх, — по двоє з усього уві́йдуть до тебе, щоб їх зберегти живими.
of briddis bi her kynde, and of werk beestis in her kynde, and of ech crepynge beeste of erthe, by her kynde; tweyne and tweyne of alle schulen entre with thee, that thei moun lyue.
21 А ти набери собі з кожної їжі, що вона на спожива́ння, — і буде для тебе й для них на поживу.“
Therfore thou schalt take with thee of alle metis that moun be etun, and thou schalt bere to gidre at thee, and tho schulen be as well to thee as to the beestis in to mete.
22 І зробив Ной усе, — як звелів йому Бог, так зробив він.
Therfor Noe dide alle thingis whiche God comaundide to hym.
