Ездра 10
1 А коли Ездра молився та сповіда́вся, плакав та припада́в перед Божим домом, зібрався до нього з Ізраїля дуже великий збір, — чолові́ки, і жінки́ та діти, бо наро́д плакав ре́вним плаче́м...
Therfor while Esdras preiede so, and bisouyte God, and wepte, and lai bifor the temple of God, a ful greet cumpenye of Israel, of men, and of wymmen, and of children, was gaderid to him; and the puple wepte bi myche weping.
2 І відпові́в Шеханія, Єхіїлів син, з Еламових синів, та й сказав до Ездри: „Ми спроневі́рилися нашому Богові, бо взяли ми чужи́нок із наро́дів цього кра́ю за жіно́к. Але є ще наді́я для Ізраїля в цьо́му!
And Sechenye, the sone of Jehiel, of the sones of Helam, answeride, and seide to Esdras, We han trespasside ayens oure God, and han weddid wyues, alien wymmen, of `the puplis of the lond. And now, for penaunce is in Israel on this thing,
3 А тепер складімо заповіта нашому Богові, що випровадимо від себе всіх жінок та наро́джене від них, за радою пана нашого, та тих, хто тремти́ть перед заповіддю нашого Бога, і буде зро́блене за Зако́ном.
smyte we boond of pees with `oure Lord God, and caste we awei alle `wyues aliens, and hem that ben borun of tho wyues, bi the wille of the Lord; and of hem that dreden the comaundement of oure God, `be it don bi the lawe.
4 Устань, бо на тобі ця річ, а ми з тобою. Будь му́жній і дій!“
Rise thou, it `is thin office to deme, and we schulen be with thee; be thou coumfortid, and do.
5 І встав Ездра, і заприсяг зверхників, священиків і Левитів та всього Ізраїля, щоб робити за цим словом. І вони заприсягли́.
Therfor Esdras roos, and chargide greetli the princes of prestis, and of dekenes, and of al Israel, to do after this word; and thei sworen.
6 І Ездра встав з-перед Божого дому й пішов до кімна́ти Єгохонана, Ел'яшівового сина, і ночував там. Хліба він не їв і води не пив, бо був у жало́бі за спроневі́рення пове́рненців.
And Esdras roos bifor the hows of God, and he yede to the bed of Johannan, sone of Eliasiph, and entride thidur; he eet not breed, and drank not watir; for he biweilide the trespassing of hem, that weren comun fro the caitifte.
7 І оголоси́ли в Юдеї та в Єрусалимі до всіх пове́рненців, щоб зібратися до Єрусалиму.
And a vois of hem was sent in to Juda and Jerusalem, to alle the sones of transmygracioun, that thei schulden be gaderid in to Jerusalem;
8 А кожен, хто не при́йде до трьох день, за порадою зверхників та старши́х, — увесь маєток того буде зро́блений закляттям, а він буде ви́лучений із громади пове́рненців.
and ech man that cometh not in thre daies, bi the counsel of the princes and of eldre men, al his catel schal be takun awey fro him, and he schal be cast awei fro the cumpeny of transmygracioun.
9 І зібралися всі люди Юди та Веніямина до Єрусалиму до трьох день, — це був дев'ятий місяць, двадцятого дня місяця. І сидів увесь народ на площі Божого дому, тремтячи́ від цієї справи та від дощу.
Therfor alle the men of Juda and of Beniamyn camen togidere in to Jerusalem in thre daies; thilke is the nynthe monethe, in the twentithe dai of the monethe; and al the puple sat in `the street of Goddis hows, and trembliden for synne and reyn.
10 І встав священик Ездра та й сказав до них: „Ви спроневі́рилися, і взяли чужи́нних жінок, щоб побільши́ти Ізраїлеву прови́ну.
And Esdras, the preest, roos, and seide to hem, Ye han trespassid, and han weddid wyues, alien wymmen, that ye schulden `leie to on the trespas of Israel.
11 А тепер повині́ться Господе́ві, Богові ваших батьків, і чиніть Його волю! І віддаліться від наро́дів цього кра́ю та від тих чужих жіно́к!“
And now yyue ye knowlechyng to the Lord God of oure fadris, and do ye his pleasaunce, and be ye departid fro the puplis of the lond, and fro `wyues aliens.
12 І відповіла́ вся громада, і сказали гучним голосом: „Так, за словом твоїм, ми повинні зробити!
And al the multitude answeride, and seide with greet vois, Bi thi word to vs, so be it doon.
13 Але наро́д числе́нний, і час дощів, і нема сили стояти на вулиці. Та й праці не на один день і не на два, бо ми багато нагрішили в цій справі.
Netheles for the puple is myche, and the tyme of reyn is, and we suffren not to stonde withoutforth, and it is not werk of o dai, nether of tweyne; for we han synned greetli in this word;
14 Нехай же стануть наші зверхники за ввесь збір, а кожен, хто є в наших містах, хто взяв чужи́нних жіно́к, нехай при́йде на означені часи́, а з ними старші́ кожного міста та су́дді його, аж поки не відве́рнеться від нас жар гніву нашого Бога за цю річ“.
`princes be ordeyned in al the multitude, and alle men in oure citees, that han weddid `wyues aliens, come in tymes ordeyned, and with hem come the eldere men, bi citee and citee, and the iugis therof, til the ire of oure God be turned awei fro vs on this synne.
15 Особливо стали над цим Йонатан, син Асагелів, та Яхзея, син Тіквин, а Мешуллам та Левит Шеббетай допомагали їм.
Therfor Jonathan, the sone of Asahel, and Jaazie, the sone of Thecue, stoden on this thing; and Mosollam, and Sebethai, dekenes, helpiden hem.
16 І зробили так пове́рненні. І відділи́в собі священик Ездра людей, голів батьків за родом їхніх батьків, і всі вони поіме́нно. І сіли вони першого дня десятого місяця, щоб дослідити цю справу.
And the sones of transmygracioun diden so. And Esdras, the prest, and men, princes of meynees, yeden into the howsis of her fadris, and alle men bi her names; and thei saten in the firste dai of the tenthe monethe, for to seke the thing.
17 І скінчи́ли до першого дня першого місяця справи про всіх тих людей, що взяли були чужи́нних жіно́к.
And alle men weren endid, that hadden weddid `wyues aliens, `til to the firste dai of the firste monethe.
18 І знайшлися поміж священичими синами, що взяли́ чужи́нних жіно́к, із синів Єшуї, сина Йоцадакового, та братів його: Моасея, і Еліезер, і Ярів, і Ґедалія.
And there weren foundun of the sones of preestis, that weddiden `wyues aliens; of the sones of Josue, the sone of Josedech, and hise britheren, Maasie, and Eliezer, and Jarib, and Godolie.
19 І дали́ вони руку свою, що повипрова́джують жіно́к своїх, а винні прине́сли в жертву барана́ з отари за прови́ну свою.
And thei yauen her hondis, that thei schulden caste out her wyues, and offre for her trespas a ram of the scheep.
20 А з синів Іммерових: Ханані та Зевадія.
And of the sones of Semmer; Anam, and Zebedie.
21 І з синів Харімових: Массея, і Елійя, і Шемая, і Єхіїл, і Уззійя.
And of the sones of Serym; Maasie, and Helie, and Semeie, and Jehiel, and Ozie.
22 Із синів Пашхурових: Ел'йоенай, Маасея, Ізмаїл, Натанаїл, Йозавад та Ел'аса.
And of the sones of Phessur; Helioneai, Maasie, Hismael, Nathanael, and Jozabet, and Elasa.
23 А з Левитів: Йозавад, і Шім'ї, і Келая, він Келіта, Петахія, Юда та Еліезер.
And of the sones of dekenes; Josabeth, and Semey, and Elaie; he is Calithaphataie; Juda, and Elezer.
24 А з співакі́в: Ел'яшів. А з придве́рних: Шаллум, і Телем, та Урі.
And of syngeris, Eliazub; and of porteris, Sellum, and Thellem, and Vry.
25 А з Ізраїля, з синів Пар'ошових: Рам'я, і Їззійя, і Малкійя, і Мійямін, і Елеазар, і Малкійя та Беная.
And of Israel, of the sones of Pharos; Remea, and Ezia, and Melchia, and Vnanym, and Eliezer, and Melchia, and Banea.
26 А з синів Еламових: Маттанія, Захарій, і Єхіїл, і Авді, і Єремот, і Елійя,
And of the sones of Elam; Mathanye, and Zacharie, and Jehil, and Abdi, and Rymoth, and Helia.
27 І з синів Затту: Ел'йоенай, Ел'яшів, Маттанія, і Еремот, і Завад та Азіза.
And of the sones of Zechua; Helioneay, Heliasib, Mathanye, and Jerymuth, and Zaeth, and Aziza.
28 А з синів Беваєвих: Єгоханан, Хананія, Заббай, Атлай.
And of the sones of Bebai; Johannan, Ananye, Zabbai, Athalia.
29 І з синів Банієвих: Мешуллам, Маллух, і Адая, Яшув, і Шеал та Рамот.
And of the sones of Beny; Mosallam, and Melue, and Azaie, Jasub, and Saal, and Ramoth.
30 І з синів Пахатових: Моав, Адна, і Хелал, Беная, Маасея, Маттанія, Веселії́л, і Біннуй та Манасія.
And of the sones of Phaeth; Moab, Edua, and Calal, Banaie, and Massie, Mathanye, Beseleel, and Bennun, and Manasse.
31 І з синів Харімових: Еліезер, Їшшійя, Малкійя, Шемая, Шімон,
And of the sones of Erem; Elieer, Jesue, Melchie, Semeye, Symeon,
32 Веніямин, Маллух, Шемарія.
Beniamyn, Maloth, Samarie.
33 З синів Хашумових: Маттенай, Маттатта, Завад, Еліфелет, Єремай, Манасія, Шім'ї.
And of the sones of Asom; Mathanai, Mathetha, Zabeth, Eliphelech, Jermai, Manasse, Semei.
34 З синів Банаєвих: Маадай, Амрам, і Уїл,
Of the sones of Bany; Maddi, Amram, and Huel,
35 Беная, Бедея, Келугу,
Baneas, and Badaie, Cheilian,
36 Ванія, Меремот, Ел'ятів,
Biamna, Marymuth, and Eliasiph,
37 Маттанія, Маттенай, і Яасай,
Mathanye, and Jasy,
38 і Бані, і Бійнуй, Шім'ї,
and Bany, and Bennan, and Semei,
39 і Шелемія, і Натан, і Адая,
and Salymas, and Nathan, and Daias,
40 Махнадвай, Шашай, Шарай,
Metuedabai, Sisai, Sarai,
41 Азаріїл, і Шелемія, Шемарія,
Ezrel, and Seloman, Semerie,
42 Шаллум, Амарія, Йо́сип.
Sellum, Amarie, Joseph.
43 А з синів Нево: Єіїл, Маттітія, Завад, Зевіна, Яддай, і Йоїл, Беная.
Of the sones of Nebny; Aiel, Mathatie, Zabed, Zabina, Jebdu, and Johel, Banai.
44 Усі оці взяли́ були́ чужи́нних жіно́к, а деякі з цих жіно́к і дітей породили.
Alle these hadden take `wyues aliens, and of hem weren wymmen, that hadden bore children.
