2 Тимофію 4
1 Отже, я свідкую тобі перед Богом і Христом Ісусом, що Він має судити живих і мертвих за Свого прихо́ду та за Свого Царства.
I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at his appearing, in his kingdom;
2 Проповідуй Слово, допоминайся вча́сно-невча́сно, докоряй, забороняй, переконуй з терпеливістю та з наукою.
preach the word, be instant both in season and out of season; convince, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and instruction.
3 Настане бо час, коли здорової науки не будуть триматись, але за своїми пожадливостями виберуть собі вчителі́в, щоб вони їхні ву́ха вле́щували.
For the time will come, when they will not bear sound doctrine; but having itching ears, will heap up to themselves teachers after their own hearts:
4 Вони слух свій від правди відвернуть та до байо́к нахи́ляться.
and turn away their attention from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.
5 Але ти будь пи́льний у всьому, терпи лихо, виконуй працю благові́сника, сповня́й свою службу.
But be thou watchful in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, give full proof of thy ministry.
6 Бо я вже за жертву стаю, і час відхо́ду мого вже настав.
For I am now going to be sacrificed, and the time of my dissolution is near.
7 Я змагався добрим зма́гом, свій біг закінчи́в, віру зберіг.
I have fought the good fight, I have finished my race, I have kept the faith.
8 Наостанку мені призначається вінок праведности, якого мені того дня дасть Господь, Суддя праведний; і не тільки мені, але й усім, хто при́хід Його полюбив.
As to what remains, there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give me in that day: and not to me only, but also to all those who have longed for his appearance.
9 Подба́й незаба́ром прибути до мене.
Endeavour to come to me soon: for Demas hath forsaken me,
10 Бо Дима́с мене кинув, цей вік полюбивши, і пішов до Солу́ня, Кри́скент до Гала́тії, Тит до Далма́тії. (aiōn g165)
through love of this world, and is gone to Thessalonica; as is Crescens to Galatia, and Titus to Dalmatia: Luke only is with me. (aiōn g165)
11 Зо мною сам тільки Лука́. Візьми Ма́рка, і приведи з собою, бо мені він потрібний для служби.
Take Mark, and bring him with thee: for he is useful to me in the ministry.
12 А Тихи́ка послав я в Ефе́с.
And I have sent Tychicus to Ephesus.
13 Як будеш іти, то плаща́ принеси́, що його я в Троа́ді зоставив у Ка́рпа, і книжки́, особливо пергамено́ві.
When thou comest, bring with thee the cloke, that I left at Troas with Carpus; and the books, but especially the parchments.
14 Котля́р Олександер нако́їв був лиха чимало мені... Нехай Госпо́дь йому віддасть за його вчинками!
Alexander the brazier did me many ill turns: the Lord will reward him according to his deeds.
15 Стережись його й ти, бо він мі́цно противився нашим словам!
Of whom do thou also beware: for he hath greatly opposed our doctrine.
16 При першій моїй обороні жоден не був при мені, але всі поки́нули мене... Хай Госпо́дь їм того не полічить!
In my first defence no one stood by me, but all men forsook me: God grant it may not be laid to their charge!
17 Але Госпо́дь став при мені та й мене підкріпи́в, щоб проповідь виконалась через мене, та щоб усі погани почули її. І я ви́зволився з пащі ле́в'ячої.
But the Lord stood by me, and strengthened me; that by me the gospel might be fully spread, and that all the nations might hear: and so I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
18 А від усякого вчинку лихого Господь мене ви́зволить та збереже для Свого Небесного Царства. Йому слава на віки вічні, амі́нь! (aiōn g165)
And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me to his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory throughout all ages. Amen. (aiōn g165)

20 Ера́ст позоставси в Кори́нті, а Трохи́ма лишив я слабо́го в Міле́ті.
Erastus staid at Corinth, and I left Trophimus sick at Miletus.
21 Попильну́й прийти до зими́. Вітає тебе Евву́л, і Пуд, і Лин, і Кла́вдія, і вся бра́ття.
Endeavour therefore to come to me before winter. Eubulus saluteth thee, and Pudens, and Linus, and Claudia, and indeed all the brethren.
22 Господь з твоїм духом! Благода́ть з вами! Амі́нь.
The Lord Jesus Christ be with thy spirit. Grace be with you all. Amen.
