2 Тимофію 3
1 Знай же ти це, що останніми днями настануть тяжкі́ часи́.
And know this, that in the last days there will come perilous times,
2 Будуть бо люди тоді самолюбні, грошолюбні, зарозумілі, горді, богозневажники, батькам неслухня́ні, невдячні, непобожні,
for men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, slanderous, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unkind,
3 нелюбовні, запеклі, осу́дливі, нестримливі, жорстокі, нена́висники добра,
without natural affection, implacable, false accusers, without control, barbaric, not lovers of those who are good,
4 зрадники, нахабні, бундю́чні, що більше люблять розкоші, аніж люблять Бога, —
traitors, reckless, lofty, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God,
5 вони мають вигляд благоче́стя, але сили його́ відреклися. Відверта́йсь від таких!
having a form of piety, but having denied its power; and be turning away from these,
6 До них бо належать і ті, хто пролазить до хат та зводить жінок, гріхами обтяжених, ведених усякими пожадливостями,
for of these there are those coming into the houses and leading captive the weak women, loaded with sins, led away with manifold desires,
7 що вони за́вжди вчаться, та ніко́ли не можуть прийти до пізна́ння правди.
always learning, and never able to come to a knowledge of truth,
8 Як Янній та Ямврій протиставилися були Мойсеєві, так і ці протиста́вляться правді, люди зіпсутого розуму, не́уки щодо віри.
and even as Jannes and Jambres stood against Moses, so these also stand against the truth, men corrupted in mind, disapproved concerning the faith;
9 Та більше не матимуть у́спіху, — бо всім виявиться їхній бе́зум, як і з тими було́.
but they will not advance any further, for their folly will be evident to all, as theirs also became.
10 Ти ж пішов услід за мною наукою, поступо́ванням, за́міром, вірою, витрива́лістю, любов'ю, терпеливістю,
And you have followed after my teaching, manner of life, purpose, faith, long-suffering, love, endurance,
11 переслідуваннями та стражда́ннями, що спіткали були мене в Антіохі́ї, в Іконі́ї, у Лі́страх, — такі переслі́дування переніс я, та Госпо́дь від усіх мене визволив.
the persecutions, the afflictions, that befell me in Antioch, in Iconium, in Lystra; what persecutions I endured! And the LORD delivered me out of all.
12 Та й усі, хто хоче жити побожно у Христі Ісусі, — будуть переслідувані.
And all who will to live piously in Christ Jesus will also be persecuted,
13 А люди лихі та дури́світи матимуть у́спіх у злому, зво́дячи й зве́дені бувши.
and evil men and impostors will advance to the worse, leading astray and being led astray.
14 А ти в тім пробува́й, чого́ тебе на́вчено, і що тобі звірено, ві́даючи тих, від ко́го навчився був ти.
And you—remain in the things which you learned and were entrusted with, having known from whom you learned,
15 І ти знаєш з дити́нства Писа́ння святе, що може зробити тебе мудрим на спасі́ння вірою в Христа Ісуса.
and because you have known the Holy Writings from infancy, which are able to make you wise—to salvation, through faith that [is] in Christ Jesus.
16 Усе Писа́ння Богом на́дхнене, і кори́сне до навча́ння, до докору, до направи, до вихова́ння в праведності,
Every Writing [is] God-breathed, and profitable for teaching, for conviction, for correction, for instruction that [is] in righteousness,
17 щоб Божа люди́на була досконала, до всякого доброго ді́ла готова.
that the man of God may be fitted—having been completed for every good work.
