2 Петра 3
1 Це вже другого листа пишу́ я до вас, улюблені. У них нага́дуванням я буджу́ вашу чисту думку,
This now, beloved, [is the] second to you I am writing letter, in which I am stirring up of you in putting [you] in remembrance pure mind
2 щоб ви пам'ятали слова́, що святі пророки давніше звістили їх вам, і заповідь Господа й Спасителя, що оде́ржали через ваших апо́столів.
remembering the spoken beforehand declarations — by the holy prophets and of the apostles (of you *N(K)O*) commandment of the Lord and Savior;
3 Насампере́д знайте оце, що в останні дні при́йдуть із на́смішками глузії́, що ходитимуть за своїми пожадливостями,
this first knowing that they will come in ([these] last *N(k)O*) of the days (with scoffing *NO*) scoffers according to [their] own evil desires of them following
4 та й скажуть: „Де обі́тниця Його прихо́ду? Бо від того ча́су, як позасинали наші батьки, усе залиша́ється так від поча́тку творі́ння“.
and saying; Where is the promise of the coming of Him? From [the time] that for the fathers fell asleep, all things as they were continue from [the] beginning of creation.
5 Бо сховане від тих, хто хоче цього, що небо було напоча́тку, а земля із води та водою скла́дена словом Божим,
It is concealed from indeed them this willingly that heavens were existing long ago and [the] earth out of water and through water having been composed by the of God word,
6 тому́ тодішній світ, водою пото́плений, згинув.
through ([means of] those [waters] *NK(O)*) the at that time world with water having been deluged perished.
7 А теперішні небо й земля заховані тим самим словом, і зберігаються для огню на день суду й загибелі безбожних людей.
But now [the] heavens and the earth by the (same *NK(O)*) word stored up they are for fire being kept unto [the] day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.
8 Нехай же одне це не буде заховане від вас, улю́блені, що в Господа один день — немов тисяча ро́ків, а тисяча ро́ків — немов один день!
[This] one however thing not should be hidden from you, beloved, that one day with [the] Lord [is] like a thousand years and a thousand years like day one.
9 Не ба́риться Госпо́дь із обі́тницею, як деякі вважають це барі́нням, але вам довготе́рпить, бо не хоче, щоб хто загинув, але щоб усі наверну́лися до каяття́.
Not does delay (the *k*) Lord the promise, as some slowness esteem; but is patient toward (you *N(K)O*) not willing [for] any to perish but all to repentance to come.
10 День же Господній прибу́де, як злодій вночі, коли з гу́ркотом небо мине, а стихі́ї, розпе́чені, ру́нуть, а земля та діла, що на ній, погорять.
Will come however (the *k*) day of [the] Lord like a thief (in [the] night *K*) in which the heavens with a roar will pass away, elements then burning with heat (it will be dissolved, *N(k)O*) and [the] earth and the in it works (not *O*) (will be exposed. *N(K)O*)
11 А коли все оце поруйнується, то якими мусите бути в святому житті та в побожності ви,
When these things (in this way *N(K)O*) all being dissolved what kind ought to be you In holy conduct and in godliness
12 що чекаєте й прагнете скорого прихо́ду Божого дня, в якім небо, палючися, зникне, а розпа́лені стихії розтопляться?
expecting and hastening the coming of the of God day, through which [the] heavens being set on fire will be dissolved and [the] elements burning with heat are melting?
13 Але за Його обі́тницею ми чекаємо неба ново́го й ново́ї землі, що праведність на них пробуває.
New however heavens and earth a new according to the promise of Him we are awaiting, in which righteousness dwells.
14 Тож, улю́блені, чека́ючи цього, попильнуйте, щоб ви знайшлися для Нього нескверні та чисті у мирі.
Therefore, beloved, these things expecting do be diligent without spot and without blemish by Him to be found in peace,
15 А довготерпіння Господа нашого вважайте за спасі́ння, як і улю́блений брат наш Павло написав був до вас за даною йому мудрістю,
And the of the Lord of us patience [as] salvation do esteem, even as also the beloved of us brother Paul according to the having been given to him wisdom wrote to you,
16 як і по всіх посла́ннях, що в них він говорить про це. У них є дещо тя́жко зрозуміле, що не́уки та незміцнені перекручують, як і інші Писа́ння, на власну загибіль свою́.
as also in all (the *ko*) letters speaking in them concerning these things; among (which [letters] *N(k)O*) are difficult to be understood some things, which the ignorant and unestablished (distort *NK(o)*) as also the other Scriptures to the own of them destruction.
17 Тож ви, улю́блені, знаючи це напере́д, стережіться, щоб не були ви зве́дені блу́дом безбожних і не відпали від свого вґрунтува́ння,
you yourselves therefore, beloved, knowing [this] beforehand do beware that not by the of the lawless error having been led away you may fall from the [your] own steadfastness,
18 але щоб зростали в благода́ті й пізна́нні Господа нашого й Спасителя Ісуса Христа. Йому слава і тепер, і дня вічного! Амі́нь. (aiōn g165)
do grow however in grace and in knowledge of the Lord of us and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him [be] the glory both now and to [the] day of eternity, Amen. (aiōn g165)
