2 царів 7

1 І сказав Єлисей: „Послухайте слово Господнє: Так сказав Господь: Цього ча́су взавтра буде се́я пшеничної муки — за ше́кля, і дві сеї ячме́ню — за шекля в брамі Самарії“.

And he said Elisha hear [the] word of Yahweh thus - he says Yahweh about this time - tomorrow a seah of fine flour for a shekel and two seahs barley for a shekel at [the] gate of Samaria.

2 І відповів Божому чоловікові вельможа царя, що він на його руку спирався, і сказав: „Якби Господь поробив отво́ри в небі, чи сталася б ця річ?“А той відказав: „Ось ти побачиш своїми очи́ма, — та їсти звідти не бу́деш“.

And he answered the officer who [belonged] to the king [who] was leaning on hand his [the] man of God and he said here! Yahweh [is] making windows in the heavens ¿ will it happen the thing this and he said here you [are] about to see with own eyes your and from there not you will eat.

3 І були при вході до брами чотири прокаже́ні чоловіки. І сказали вони один до о́дного: „Чого ми сидимо́ тут, аж поки не помремо́?

And four men they were [people] having a skin disease [the] entrance of the gate and they said each to neighbor his why? [are] we sitting here until we have died.

4 Якщо ми скажемо: Увійді́мо до міста, а в місті голод, то помремо́ там; а якщо сиді́тимемо тут, то теж помремо́. Отож, ходіть, і перейді́мо до сирійського табо́ру, — якщо там позоставлять нас при житті, бу́демо жити, а якщо заб'ють нас, то помремо́“.

If we said we will enter the city and the famine [is] in the city and we will die there and if we sat here and we will die and therefore come so let us fall to [the] camp of Aram if they will let live us we will live and if they will put to death us and we will die.

5 І встали вони на́двечір, щоб іти до сирійського табо́ру. І прибули́ вони до кра́ю сирійського табо́ру, аж ось — нема там ніко́го!

And they arose at twilight to go to [the] camp of Aram and they came to [the] edge of [the] camp of Aram and there! there not there [was] anyone.

6 Бо Господь учинив, що сирійський та́бір почув стуко́тняву колесни́ць і їржа́ння ко́ней, та га́лас великого ві́йська. І сказали вони один до о́дного: „Ось Ізраїлів цар найняв на нас хіттейських царів та царів єгипетських, щоб пішли на нас!“

And [the] Lord he had caused to hear - [the] camp of Aram a sound of chariotry a sound of horse[s] a sound of an army large and they said each to brother his here! he has hired on us [the] king of Israel [the] kings of the Hittites and [the] kings of Egypt to come on us.

7 І встали вони, і повтікали надвечір, і полишили свої намети, й осли свої, і та́бір, як він був, та й повтікали, спасаючи життя своє!

And they arose and they fled at twilight and they abandoned tents their and horses their and donkeys their the camp [was] just as it [was] and they fled to life their.

8 І прийшли ті прокаже́ні аж до краю табо́ру, і ввійшли до одно́го намету, — і їли й пили, і повино́сили звідти срібло й золото та вбрання́, і пішли й захова́ли. І вони зно́ву ввійшли до іншого намету, і повино́сили звідти, і пішли та й схова́ли.

And they came the [people] having a skin disease these to [the] edge of the camp and they went into a tent one and they ate and they drank and they carried off from there silver and gold and clothes and they went and they hid [them] and they returned and they went into a tent another and they carried off [things] from there and they went and they hid [them].

9 І сказали вони один до о́дного: „Неслушно ми ро́бимо. Цей день — він день доброї звістки, а ми мовчимо́. Як ми бу́демо чекати аж до ранішнього сві́тла, то впаде́ на нас провина. А тепер ході́мо, і ввійді́мо й донесі́мо царевому дому!“

And they said each to neighbor his not right - we [are] doing the day this [is] a day of good news it and we [are] silent and we will delay until [the] light of the morning and it will find us punishment and therefore come so let us go and let us tell [the] household of the king.

10 І прийшли вони, і покликали міськи́х воротарі́в, та й доне́сли їм, говорячи: „Увійшли ми до сирійського табо́ру, а там нема ані люди́ни, ані лю́дського голосу, а тільки поприв'я́зувані коні та поприв'язувані осли, та намети, як вони були!“

And they went and they called out to [the] gatekeeper of the city and they told to them saying we went into [the] camp of Aram and there! there not there [was] anyone and [the] sound of anyone that except the horse[s] tied up and the donkey[s] tied up and tents [are] just as they [were].

11 І воротарі́ покликали, і доне́сли про це до самого царсько́го дому.

And he called out the gatekeepers and they told [the] household of the king within.

12 І встав цар уночі й сказав своїм слу́гам: „Розкажу́ я вам, що́ нам зробили сирійці. Вони знають, що ми голодні, і повихо́дили з табо́ру, щоб схова́тися на полі, говорячи: „Коли ті повихо́дять із міста, то ми схо́пимо їх живих, та й уві́йдемо до міста!“

And he arose the king night and he said to servants his let me tell please to you [that] which they have done to us Aram they know that [are] hungry we and they have gone out from the camp to hide themselves (in open country *Q(K)*) saying that they will come out from the city and we will seize them alive and into the city we will go.

13 І відповів один із його слуг і сказав: „Нехай ві́зьмуть п'я́теро позосталих ко́ней, що лишилися в ньому, у місті. Ось вони, — (із усього війська Ізраїлевого тільки й лишилися, із усього війська Ізраїля, що згинуло), — і пошле́мо, і побачимо“.

And he answered one from servants his and he said and they may take please five of the horses remaining which they are left in it here they [will be] like all ([the] multitude of *Q(K)*) Israel which they are left in it here they [will be] like all [the] multitude of Israel which they have come to an end and let us send and we may see.

14 І взяли́ вони дві колесни́ці з кі́ньми, і цар послав їх услід за сирійським табо́ром, говорячи: „Ідіть і подивіться“.

And people took two chariot[s] horses and he sent [them] the king after [the] camp of Aram saying go and see.

15 І пішли вони за ними аж до Йорда́ну, аж ось уся дорога повна вбрання́ та рече́й, що поки́дали сирійці, як поспішали! І верну́лися ці посли, і доне́сли цареві.

And they went after them to the Jordan and there! all the road [was] full clothes and equipment which they had thrown away Aram (in hurrying of them *Q(K)*) and they returned the messengers and they told to the king.

16 І вийшов наро́д, і розграбува́ли сирійський та́бір. І ко́штувала се́я пшеничної муки по шеклю, і дві сеї ячме́ню по шеклю за словом Господнім!

And it went out the people and they plundered [the] camp of Aram and it was a seah of fine flour for a shekel and two seahs barley for a shekel according to [the] word of Yahweh.

17 І цар призна́чив того вельможу, що на його руку він опирався, доглядати над брамою. Та затопта́в його наро́д у брамі, і він помер, як казав був Божий чоловік, який говорив, коли прихо́див до нього цар.

And the king he appointed the officer who [was] leaning on hand his over the gate and they trampled him the people in the gate and he died just as he had spoken [the] man of God who he spoke when came down the king to him.

18 І сталося, коли Божий чоловік говорив до царя, кажучи: „Дві сеї ячменю по шеклю, і сея пшеничної муки́ по шеклю буде того ча́су взавтра в брамі Самарії,

And it was as had spoken [the] man of God to the king saying two seahs barley for a shekel and a seah of fine flour for a shekel it will be about this time tomorrow in [the] gate of Samaria.

19 то цей вельможа відповів Божому чоловікові й сказав: „Якби Господь поробив отво́ри в небі, чи сталася б ця річ?“А той відказав: „Ось ти побачиш своїми очи́ма, — та їсти звідти не бу́деш“.

And he had answered the officer [the] man of God and he said and here! Yahweh [is] making windows in the heavens ¿ will it happen according to the manner this and he said here you [are] about to see with own eyes your and from there not you will eat.

20 І сталося йому так, і затоптав його наро́д у брамі, і він помер.

And it happened to him thus and they trampled him the people in the gate and he died.
