1 хроніки 4
1 Сини Юдині: Перец, Хецрон, і Кармі, і Хур, і Шовал.
Sons of Judah: Perez, Hezron, and Carmi, and Hur, and Shobal.
2 А Реая, син Шовалів, породив Яхата, а Яхат породив Ахуман та Лахада, — оце ро́ди цор'атян.
And Reaiah son of Shobal begot Jahath, and Jahath begot Ahumai and Lahad; these [are] families of the Zorathite.
3 А оці Аві-Етамові: Їзреел, і Їшма, і Їдбаш, а ім'я́ їхній сестрі — Гаццелелпоні.
And these [are] of the father of Etam: Jezreel, and Ishma, and Idbash; and the name of their sister [is] Hazzelelponi;
4 А Пенуїл — батько Ґедора, а Езер — батько Хуші. Оце сини Хура, Єфремового перворо́дженого, батька Віфлеєму.
and Penuel [is] father of Gedor, and Ezer father of Hushah. These [are] sons of Hur, firstborn of Ephratah, father of Beth-Lehem.
5 А в Ашхура, батька Текої, були́ дві жінки: Хел'а та Наара.
And to Ashhur father of Tekoa were two wives, Helah and Naarah;
6 І породила йому Наара Ахуззама, і Хефера, і Темені, і Ахаштарі, — оце сини́ Наарині.
and Naarah bears to him Ahuzzam, and Hepher, and Temeni, and Haahashtari: these [are] sons of Naarah.
7 А сини Хел'ині: Церет, і Цохар, і Етнан.
And sons of Helah: Zereth, and Zohar, and Ethnan.
8 А Коц породив Анува, і Гаццовеву, і роди Ахархела, сина Гарумового.
And Coz begot Anub, and Zobebah, and the families of Aharhel son of Harum.
9 А Ябец був поважа́ний більше від своїх братів, і мати його назвала йому́ ім'я́ Ябец, говорячи: Я породила його в болісті.
And Jabez is honored above his brothers, and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, “Because I have brought forth with grief.”
10 І кликнув Ябец до Бога Ізраїлевого, говорячи: „Коли б Ти, благословляючи, поблагословив мене, і побільши́в границю мою, і рука Твоя була зо мною, і зробив охорону від ли́ха, щоб не засмучувати мене!“І Бог послав, чого він просив.
And Jabez calls to the God of Israel, saying, “If blessing You bless me, then You have made my border great, and Your hand has been with me, and You have kept [me] from evil—not to grieve me”; and God brings in that which he asked.
11 А Келув, брат Шухи, породив Мехіра, — він батько Ештона.
And Chelub brother of Shuah begot Mehir; he [is] father of Eshton.
12 А Ештон породив Бет-Рафу, і Пасеаха, і Техінну, батька міста Нахаша. Це люди Рехи.
And Eshton begot Beth-Rapha, and Paseah, and Tehinnah father of Ir-Nahash; these [are] men of Rechah.
13 А сини Кеназа: Отніїл та Серая. А сини Отніїлові: Хатат.
And sons of Kenaz: Othniel and Seraiah; and sons of Othniel: Hathath.
14 А Меонотай породив Офру, а Серая породив Яава, батька Ремісничої Долини, бо вони були ремісники́.
And Meonothai begot Ophrah, and Seraiah begot Joab father of the Valley of the Craftsmen, for they were craftsmen.
15 А сини Калева, Єфуннеєвого сина: Іру, Ела та Наам. А Елин син — Кеназ.
And sons of Caleb son of Jephunneh: Iru, Elah, and Naam; and sons of Elah: even Kenaz.
16 А сини Єгаллел'їлові: Зіф і Зіфа, Тір'я й Асар'їл.
And sons of Jehaleleel: Ziph and Ziphah, Tiria, and Asareel.
17 А сини Езри: Єтер, і Меред, і Ефер, і Ялон. А оце сини Біт'ї, фараонової дочки́, що взяв Меред; і вона зачала́ й породила Мір'яма, і Шаммая, і Їшбаха, батька Ештемої.
And sons of Ezra: Jether, and Mered, and Epher, and Jalon. And she bears Miriam, and Shammai, and Ishbah father of Eshtemoa.
18 А жінка його юде́янка породила Єреда, батька Ґедору, і Хевера, батька Сохо, і Єкутіїла, батька Заноаха.
And his wife Jehudijah bore Jered father of Gedor, and Heber father of Socho, and Jekuthiel father of Zanoah. And these [are] sons of Bithiah daughter of Pharaoh, whom Mered took,
19 А сини жінки Годійї, сестри Нахама, батька ґарм'янина Кеїли та маахатянина Ештемоа,
and sons of the wife of Hodiah sister of Nahom: Abi-Keilah the Garmite, and Eshtemoa the Maachathite.
20 а сини Симеонові: Амнон, і Рінна, Бен-Ханан, і Тілон. А сини Їш'ї: Зохет та Бен-Зохет.
And sons of Shimon: Amnon, and Rinnah, Ben-Hanon, and Tilon; and sons of Ishi: Zoheth, and Ben-Zoheth.
21 Сини Шели, Юдиного сина: Ер, ба́тько Лехи, і Лада, батько Мареші, і ро́ди дому робітникі́в віссону, з дому Ашбеа.
Sons of Shelah son of Judah: Er father of Lecah, and Laadah father of Mareshah, and the families of the house of the service of fine linen, of the house of Ashbea;
22 І Йокін, і люди Козеви, і Йоаш, і Сараф, що володіли Моавом, і Яшуві-Лехем. Та це справи старода́вні.
and Jokim, and the men of Chozeba, and Joash, and Saraph, who ruled over Moab and Jashubi-Lehem; and these things [are] ancient.
23 Вони були ганчарі́, і заме́шкували садки́ та горо́ди; вони жили там у царя для його роботи.
They [are] the potters and inhabitants of Netaim and Gedera; they dwelt there with the king in his work.
24 Сини Симеонові: Немуїл, і Ямім, Ярів, Зерах, Саул,
Sons of Simeon: Nemuel, and Jamin, Jarib, Zerah, Shaul;
25 його син — Шаллум, його син — Мівсам, його син — Мішма.
Shallum his son, Mibsam his son, Mishma his son.
26 А сини Мішми: Хаммуїл — син його, його син — Заккур, його син — Шім'ї.
And sons of Mishma: Hammuel his son, Zacchur his son, Shimei his son.
27 А в Шім'ї було шістнадцять синів та шість дочо́к, а брати його не мали багатьо́х синів, і не помно́жили ввесь свій рід так, як сини Юдині.
And to Shimei [are] sixteen sons and six daughters, and to his brothers there are not many sons, and none of their families have multiplied as much as the sons of Judah.
28 І осілися вони в Беер-Шеві, і в Моладі, і в Хацар-Шуалі,
And they dwell in Beer-Sheba, and Moladah, and Hazar-Shaul,
29 і в Білзі, і в Ецемі, і в Толаді,
and in Bilhah, and in Ezem, and in Tolad,
30 і в Бетуїлі, і в Хормі, і в Ціклаґу,
and in Bethuel, and in Hormah, and in Ziklag,
31 і в Бет-Маркавоті, і в Хацар-Сусімі, і в Бет-Бір'і, і в Шаараїмі, — оце їхні міста аж до запарюва́ння Давидового.
and in Beth-Marcaboth, and in Hazar-Susim, and in Beth-Birei, and in Shaarim; these [are] their cities until the reigning of David.
32 А їхні осади: Етам, і Аїн, Ріммон, і Тохен, і Ашан, — п'я́теро міст.
And their villages [are] Etam, and Ain, Rimmon, and Tochen, and Ashan—five cities,
33 А всі їхні оса́ди, що навколо тих міст, аж до Баалу; це місця їх осе́лення та родоводи їх про них.
and all their villages that [are] around these cities to Ba‘al; these [are] their dwellings, and they have their genealogy:
34 А Мешовав, і Ямлех, і Йоша, син Амаці́ї,
even Meshobab, and Jamlech, and Joshah son of Amaziah,
35 і Йоїл, і Єгу, син Йошів'ї, сина Сераї, сина Асіїлового,
and Joel, and Jehu son of Josibiah, son of Seraiah, son of Asiel,
36 і Елйоенай, і Яко́ва, і Шохая, і Асая, і Адіїл, і Єсіміїл, і Беная,
and Elioenai, and Jaakobah, and Jeshohaiah, and Asaiah, and Adiel, and Jesimiel, and Benaiah,
37 і Зіза, син Шіф'і, сина Аллона, сина Єдаї, сина Шімрі, сина Шемаї.
and Ziza son of Shiphi, son of Allon, son of Jedaiah, son of Shimri, son of Shemaiah.
38 Це ті, що входять в імена́ князів у свої ро́ди, а дім своїх батьків сильно розмно́жили.
These who are coming in by name [are] princes in their families, and the house of their fathers has broken forth into a multitude;
39 І пішли вони до Мево-Ґедору, аж до схі́днього боку долини, щоб пошукати пасови́ська для своїх ота́р.
and they go to the entrance of Gedor, to the east of the valley, to seek pasture for their flock,
40 І знайшли вони пасови́сько сите та добре, а той край був просто́рий, і тихий та спокійний, бо від Хама похо́дили ті, що сиділи там колись.
and they find pasture, fat and good, and the land broad of sides, and quiet, and safe, for those dwelling there before are of Ham.
41 І пішли ці, записані імена́ми за днів Єзекії, царя Юдиного, і розби́ли їхні намети там, і побили меінітів, що були зна́йдені там, що їх учинили закля́ттям аж до цього дня, й осілися замість них, бо там пасови́сько для їхньої дрібно́ї худоби.
And these who are written by name come in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, and strike their tents, and the habitations that have been found there, and devote them to destruction to this day, and dwell in their stead, because pasture for their flock [is] there.
42 А з них, з Симеонових синів, пішли на го́ру Сеїр п'ять сотень чоловіка, а Пелатія, і Неарія, і Рефая, і Уззіїл, сини Їш'ї, були на чолі́ їх.
And of them, of the sons of Simeon, five hundred men have gone to Mount Seir, and Pelatiah, and Neariah, and Rephaiah, and Uzziel, sons of Ishi, at their head,
43 І вони побили оста́нок урято́ваних Амали́ка, й осі́лися там аж до цього дня.
and they strike the remnant of those escaped of Amalek, and dwell there to this day.
