1 А оце були́ Дави́дові сини, що народилися йому в Хевро́ні: перворо́джений — Амно́н, від їзреелі́тянки Ахіноам; другий — Даниїл, від кармелі́тянки Авіґаїл;
These were the sons of David who were born to him in Hebron: The firstborn was Amnon by Ahinoam of Jezreel; the second was Daniel by Abigail of Carmel;
2 третій — Авесало́м, син Маахи, дочки́ Талмая, царя ґешурського; четвертий — Адонійя, син Хаґґіт;
the third was Absalom the son of Maacah daughter of King Talmai of Geshur; the fourth was Adonijah the son of Haggith;
3 п'ятий — Шефатія, від Авітал; шостий — Їтреам, від жінки його Еґли;
the fifth was Shephatiah by Abital; and the sixth was Ithream by his wife Eglah.
4 шестеро наро́джено йому в Хевроні. І царював він там сім років і шість місяців, а тридцять і три роки царював в Єрусалимі.
These six sons were born to David in Hebron, where he reigned seven years and six months. And David reigned in Jerusalem thirty-three years,
5 А оці народи́лися йому в Єрусалимі: Шім'а, і Шовав, і Натан, і Соломон, — четверо від Вірсаві́ї, Амміїлової дочки́,
and these sons were born to him in Jerusalem: Shimea, Shobab, Nathan, and Solomon. These four were born to him by Bathsheba daughter of Ammiel.
6 і Ївхар, і Елішама, і Еліфалет,
David’s other sons were Ibhar, Elishua, Eliphelet,
7 і Ноґаг, і Нефеґ, і Яфія,
Nogah, Nepheg, Japhia,
8 і Елішама, і Еліяда, і Еліфелет, — де́в'ятеро.
Elishama, Eliada, and Eliphelet—nine in all.
9 Усе це Давидові сини́, окрім синів нало́жниць та сестри́ їх Тамари.
These were all the sons of David, besides the sons by his concubines. And Tamar was their sister.
10 А син Соломонів — Рехав'ам, його син Авійя, його син — Аса, його син — Йосафат,
Solomon’s son was Rehoboam: Abijah was his son, Asa his son, Jehoshaphat his son,
11 його син — Йорам, його син — Ахазія, його син — Йоаш,
Joram his son, Ahaziah his son, Joash his son,
12 його син — Амація, його син — Азарія, його син — Йотам,
Amaziah his son, Azariah his son, Jotham his son,
13 його син — Ахаз, його син — Хізкійя, його син Манасія,
Ahaz his son, Hezekiah his son, Manasseh his son,
14 його син — Амон, його син — Йосія.
Amon his son, and Josiah his son.
15 А сини Йосії: перворо́джений — Йоханан, другий — Єгояким, третій — Седекія, четвертий — Шаллум.
The sons of Josiah: Johanan was the firstborn, Jehoiakim the second, Zedekiah the third, and Shallum the fourth.
16 А сини Єгоякимові: Єхонія — син його, та син його Седекія.
The successors of Jehoiakim: Jeconiah his son, and Zedekiah.
17 А сини Єхонії: Ассір, Шеал'тіїл, син його,
The descendants of Jeconiah the captive: Shealtiel his son,
18 і Малкірам, і Педая, і Шен'аццар, Єкам'я, Гошама, і Недав'я.
Malchiram, Pedaiah, Shenazzar, Jekamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah.
19 А сини Педаї: Зоровавель і Шім'ї. А сини Зоровавеля: Мешуллам, і Хананія, і сестра їхня Шеломіт,
The sons of Pedaiah: Zerubbabel and Shimei. The children of Zerubbabel: Meshullam and Hananiah, their sister Shelomith,
20 і Хашува, і Огел, і Верех'я, і Хасад'я, Юшав-Хесед, п'я́теро.
and five others: Hashubah, Ohel, Berechiah, Hasadiah, and Jushab-hesed.
21 А син и Хананії: Пелатія та Єшая, сини Рефаї, сини Арнонові, сини Овадії, сини Шеханії.
The descendants of Hananiah: Pelatiah, Jeshaiah, and the sons of Rephaiah, of Arnan, of Obadiah, and of Shecaniah.
22 А сини́ Шеханії: Шемая. А сини́ Шемаї: Хаттиш, і Їґ'ал, і Баріах, і Неарія, і Шафат, — ше́стеро.
The six descendants of Shecaniah were Shemaiah and his sons: Hattush, Igal, Bariah, Neariah, and Shaphat.
23 А син и Неарії: Ел'йоенай, і Хізкійя, і Азрікам, — троє.
The sons of Neariah: Elioenai, Hizkiah, and Azrikam—three in all.
24 А сини Ел'йоенаєві: Годав'я, і Ел'яшів, і Пелая, і Аккув, і Йоханан, і Делая, і Анані, — се́меро.
The sons of Elioenai: Hodaviah, Eliashib, Pelaiah, Akkub, Johanan, Delaiah, and Anani—seven in all.
