1 А в Ааро́нових синів такі їхні че́рги: Ааро́нові сини: Надав і Авігу, Елеазар і Ітамар.
These were the divisions of the sons of Aaron. The sons of Aaron: Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
2 Та повмирали Надав та Авігу за життя їхнього батька, і не мали вони сині́в, тому священноді́яли Елеазар та Ітамар.
But Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and had no children; therefore Eleazar and Ithamar served as priests.
3 І поділив їх Давид і Садо́к, з Елеазарових синів, та Ахіме́лех, з Ітамарових синів, за їхнім уря́дом в їхній службі.
David, with Zadok of the sons of Eleazar and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, divided them according to their ordering in their service.
4 І були зна́йдені Елеаза́рові сини численні́шими, щодо голів чоловіків, від синів Ітамарових. І вони поділили їх: для Елеаза́рових синів голів дому батьків було шістнадцять, а для Ітамарових синів для дому батьків їх — вісім.
There were more chief men found of the sons of Eleazar than of the sons of Ithamar; and they were divided like this: of the sons of Eleazar there were sixteen, heads of fathers’ houses; and of the sons of Ithamar, according to their fathers’ houses, eight.
5 І поділили їх жеребка́ми, тих з тими, бо головними в святині та головними перед Богом були з синів Елеазарових та серед синів Ітамарових.
Thus they were divided impartially by drawing lots; for there were princes of the sanctuary and princes of God, both of the sons of Eleazar, and of the sons of Ithamar.
6 І записав їх Шемая, син Натанаїлів, писар із Левитів, перед царем, і головни́ми, і священиком Садо́ком, і Ахіме́лехом, сином Евіятаровим, і го́ловами дому батьків священиків та Левитів. Один ба́тьківський дім був узятий для Елеазара, а один був узятий для Ітамара.
Shemaiah the son of Nethanel the scribe, who was of the Levites, wrote them in the presence of the king, the princes, Zadok the priest, Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, and the heads of the fathers’ households of the priests and of the Levites; one fathers’ house being taken for Eleazar, and one taken for Ithamar.
7 І вийшов перший жеребо́к для Єгояріва, другий — для Єдаї,
Now the first lot came out to Jehoiarib, the second to Jedaiah,
8 третій — для Харіма, четвертий — для Сеоріма,
the third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim,
9 п'ятий — для Малкійї, шо́стий — для Мійяміна,
the fifth to Malchijah, the sixth to Mijamin,
10 сьо́мий для Гаккоца, во́сьмий — для Авійї,
the seventh to Hakkoz, the eighth to Abijah,
11 дев'ятий — для Єшуї, десятий — для Шеханії,
the ninth to Jeshua, the tenth to Shecaniah,
12 одина́дцятий — для Ел'яшіва, дванадцятий — для Якіма,
the eleventh to Eliashib, the twelfth to Jakim,
13 тринадцятий — для Хуппи, чотирна́дцятий — для Єшев'ава,
the thirteenth to Huppah, the fourteenth to Jeshebeab,
14 п'ятнадцятий — для Білґи, шістнадцятий — для Іммера,
the fifteenth to Bilgah, the sixteenth to Immer,
15 сімнадцятий — для Хезіра, вісімнадцятий — для Гаппіццеца,
the seventeenth to Hezir, the eighteenth to Happizzez,
16 дев'ятнадцятий — для Петах'ї, двадцятий — для Єхезкела,
the nineteenth to Pethahiah, the twentieth to Jehezkel,
17 двадцять і перший — для Яхіна, двадцять і другий — для Ґамула,
the twenty-first to Jachin, the twenty-second to Gamul,
18 двадцять і третій — для Делаї, двадцять і четвертий — для Маазії.
the twenty-third to Delaiah, and the twenty-fourth to Maaziah.
19 Оце поря́док їхньої служби, щоб прихо́дити до Господнього дому за їхньою постановою через Ааро́на, їхнього батька, як йому наказав був Господь, Бог Ізраїлів.
This was their ordering in their service, to come into the LORD’s house according to the ordinance given to them by Aaron their father, as the LORD, the God of Israel, had commanded him.
20 А від позосталих Левієвих синів: від Амрамових синів — Шуваїл, від синів Шуваїлових — Єхедія.
Of the rest of the sons of Levi: of the sons of Amram, Shubael; of the sons of Shubael, Jehdeiah.
21 Від Рехавії, від синів Рехавії: голова Їшшійя.
Of Rehabiah: of the sons of Rehabiah, Isshiah the chief.
22 Від Їцгарівців: Шеломот, від Шеломотових синів: Яхат.
Of the Izharites, Shelomoth; of the sons of Shelomoth, Jahath.
23 А сини Хевронові: Єрійя, другий — Амарія, третій — Яхазіїл, четвертий — Єкам'ам.
The sons of Hebron: Jeriah, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, and Jekameam the fourth.
24 Сини Уззіїлові: Міха, сини Міхині: Шамір.
The sons of Uzziel: Micah; of the sons of Micah, Shamir.
25 Брат Міхи — Їшшійя, сини Їшшійїні — Захарій.
The brother of Micah: Isshiah; of the sons of Isshiah, Zechariah.
26 Сини Мерарієві: Махлі та Муші, сини Яазійї — Бено.
The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. The son of Jaaziah: Beno.
27 Сини Мерарієві, від Яазійї: Бено, і Шогам, і Заккур, і Іврі.
The sons of Merari by Jaaziah: Beno, Shoham, Zaccur, and Ibri.
28 У Махлі: Елеазар, у нього не було синів.
Of Mahli: Eleazar, who had no sons.
29 Від Кіша, сини Кішові: Єрахмеїл.
Of Kish, the son of Kish: Jerahmeel.
30 А сини Мушієві: Махлі, і Едер, і Єрімот. Оце сини Левитів, за домом їхніх батькі́в.
The sons of Mushi: Mahli, Eder, and Jerimoth. These were the sons of the Levites after their fathers’ houses.
31 І кидали жеребки́ і вони відповідно до братів своїх, Ааро́нових синів, перед царем Давидом, і Садо́ком, і Ахімелехом, і го́ловами дому батьків священиків та Левитів, го́лови родин нарівні зо своїм меншим братом.
These likewise cast lots even as their brothers the sons of Aaron in the presence of David the king, Zadok, Ahimelech, and the heads of the fathers’ households of the priests and of the Levites, the fathers’ households of the chief even as those of his younger brother.
