1 хроніки 16
1 І прине́сли вони Божого ковчега, і поставили його в сере́дині скинії, що розтягну́в для нього Давид, і прине́сли цілопа́лення та мирні жертви перед Божим лицем.
And they bring in the Ark of God, and set it up in the midst of the tent that David has stretched out for it, and they bring burnt-offerings and peace-offerings near before God;
2 І покінчи́в Давид прино́сити цілопа́лення та мирні же́ртви, та й поблагослови́в наро́д Ім'я́м Господнім.
and David ceases from offering the burnt-offering and the peace-offerings, and blesses the people in the Name of YHWH,
3 І він поділив для всякого Ізраїлевого му́жа, від чоловіка й аж до жінки, кожному по буханце́ві хліба, і по кава́лкові м'яса та по виноградному калаче́ві.
and gives a portion to every man of Israel, both man and woman: to each a cake of bread, and a measure of wine, and a grape-cake.
4 І він попризна́чував перед Господнім ковчегом із Левитів слу́жачих, щоб вони визнава́ли, і прославляли, і хвалили Господа, Бога Ізраїлевого:
And he puts before the Ark of YHWH, those ministering from the Levites, even to make mention of, and to thank, and to give praise to YHWH, God of Israel:
5 Асаф був головою, а другий по ньому — Захарій, Єіїл, і Шемірамот, і Хіїл, і Маттітія, і Еліяв, і Беная, і Овед-Едом, і Єіїл — на знаря́ддях цитр та на арфах, а Асаф голосно грав на цимба́лах.
Asaph the head, and his second Zechariah; Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-Edom, and Jeiel, with instruments of psalteries, and with harps; and Asaph is sounding with cymbals;
6 А священики Беная та Яхазіїл — на су́рмах, за́вжди перед ковчегом Божого заповіту.
and Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests [are] continually [sounding] with trumpets before the Ark of the Covenant of God.
7 Того дня, тоді Давид дав уперше псалма на подя́ку Господе́ві через Асафа та братів його:
On that day, at that time, David has given at the beginning to give thanks to YHWH by the hand of Asaph and his brothers:
8 „Дякуйте Господу, кличте Ім'я́ Його, серед наро́дів звіщайте про вчи́нки Його́!
“Give thanks to YHWH, call on His Name, Make His doings known among the peoples.
9 Співайте Йому́, грайте Йому́, говоріть про всі чу́да Його!
Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him, Meditate on all His wonders.
10 Хваліться святим Його Йме́нням, хай ті́шиться серце шукаючих Господа!
Boast yourselves in His Holy Name, The heart of those seeking YHWH rejoices.
11 Пошу́куйте Господа й силу Його́, лице Його́ за́вжди шукайте!
Seek YHWH and His strength, Seek His face continually.
12 Пам'ятайте про чу́да Його, які Він учинив, про озна́ки Його та про при́суди уст Його
Remember His wonders that He did, His signs, and the judgments of His mouth,
13 ви, насіння Ізраїля, раба Його, сини Яковові, вибра́нці Його́!
O seed of Israel, His servant, O sons of Jacob, His chosen ones!
14 Він — Госпо́дь, Бог наш, по ці́лій землі Його при́суди!
He [is] our God YHWH, His judgments [are] in all the earth.
15 Пам'ятайте наві́ки Його заповіта, слово, яке наказав Він на тисячу ро́дів,
Remember His covenant for all time, The word He commanded—To one thousand generations,
16 що склав Він Його з Авраамом, і прися́гу Його — для Ісака.
Which He has made with Abraham, And His oath—to Isaac,
17 І Він поставив його за Зако́на для Якова, Ізра́їлеві — заповітом навіки,
And He establishes it to Jacob for a statute, To Israel [for] a perpetual covenant,
18 говорячи: „Дам тобі край ханаа́нський, як наділ спна́дщини для вас!“
Saying, To you I give the land of Canaan, The portion of your inheritance,
19 Тоді їх було невелике число, нечисле́нні були та прихо́дьки на і́ншій землі,
When you were few in number, As a little thing, and sojourners in it.
20 і від наро́ду ходили вони до наро́ду, і від царства до іншого люду.
And they go up and down, From nation to nation, And from a kingdom to another people.
21 Не дозво́лив ніко́му Він кри́вдити їх, і за них Він царям докоря́в:
He has not permitted any to oppress them, And reproves kings on their account:
22 „Не дото́ркуйтеся до Моїх помаза́нців, а пророкам Моїм не робіте лихо́го!“
Do not come against My anointed ones, And do no evil against My prophets.
23 Господе́ві співайте, вся зе́мле, з дня-на-день сповіщайте спасі́ння Його!
Sing to YHWH, all the earth, Proclaim His salvation from day to day.
24 Розповідайте про славу Його між пога́нами, про чу́да Його — між усіма наро́дами.
Recount His glory among nations, His wonders among all the peoples.
25 Бо великий Господь і просла́влений ве́льми, і Він найгрізні́ший над бо́гів усіх!
For great [is] YHWH, and greatly praised, And He [is] fearful above all gods.
26 Бо всі бо́ги наро́дів — божки́, а Господь небеса́ сотворив!
For all gods of the peoples [are] nothing, And YHWH has made the heavens.
27 Слава та ве́лич — перед лицем Його, сила та радість — на місці Його.
Splendor and majesty [are] before Him, Strength and joy [are] in His place.
28 Дайте Господу, ро́ди наро́дів, дайте Господу славу та силу,
Ascribe to YHWH, you families of peoples, Ascribe to YHWH glory and strength.
29 дайте Господу славу Йме́ння Його, прино́сьте дарунка й прихо́дьте перед лице Його! Кланяйтеся Господе́ві в вели́ччі святому!
Ascribe to YHWH the glory of His Name, Lift up a present, and come before Him. Bow yourselves to YHWH, In the beauty of holiness.
30 Перед лицем Його затремти́, уся зе́мле, — бо міцно поста́влений все́світ, щоб не захита́вся!
Be pained before Him, all the earth; Also, the world is established, It is not moved!
31 Хай небо радіє, і хай весели́ться земля, і хай серед наро́дів говорять: „Царю́є Госпо́дь!“
The heavens rejoice, and the earth is glad, And they say among nations, YHWH has reigned!
32 Нехай гримить море й його повнота́, нехай поле радіє та все, що на ньо́му!
The sea roars, and its fullness, The field exults, and all that [is] in it,
33 Тоді перед Господнім лицем дере́ва лісні́ заспівають, бо землю судити йде Він.
Then trees of the forest sing, From the presence of YHWH, For He has come to judge the earth!
34 Дякуйте Господу, добрий бо Він, бо навіки Його милосе́рдя!
Give thanks to YHWH, for [He is] good, For His kindness [is] for all time,
35 І промовте: Спаси нас, о Боже спасі́ння нашого, і збери нас, і нас урятуй від наро́дів, щоб дякувати Йме́нню святому Твоє́му, щоб Твоєю хвалитися славою!
And say, Save us, O God of our salvation, And gather us, and deliver us from the nations, To give thanks to Your Holy Name, To triumph in Your praise.
36 Благослове́нний Господь, Бог Ізраїлів, від віку й навіки!“А наро́д увесь сказав: „Амінь“і „Хвала́ Господе́ві!“
Blessed [is] YHWH, God of Israel, From age to age”; And all the people say, “Amen,” and have given praise to YHWH.
37 І Давид позоставив там перед ковчегом Господнього заповіту Асафа та братів його, щоб за́вжди служили перед ковчегом, що́ в якій день треба було́,
And he leaves there [those] of Asaph and of his brothers, before the Ark of the Covenant of YHWH, to minister before the Ark continually, according to the matter of a day in its day;
38 і Овед-Едома та братів його, шістдеся́т і вісьмо́х; а Овед-Едома, Єдутунового сина, та Хоса — за придве́рних;
both Obed-Edom and their sixty-eight brothers, and Obed-Edom son of Jeduthun, and Hosah, for gatekeepers;
39 а священика Садока та братів його священиків — перед Господнім наметом на па́гірку, що в Ґів'оні,
and Zadok the priest, and his brothers the priests, before the Dwelling Place of YHWH, in a high place that [is] in Gibeon,
40 щоб прино́сити цілопа́лення для Господа на же́ртівнику цілопа́лення, за́вжди ра́нком та вве́чорі, та на все інше, що написане в Зако́ні Господа, що наказав був Ізраїлеві.
to cause burnt-offerings to ascend continually to YHWH on the altar of burnt-offering, morning and evening, and for all that is written in the Law of YHWH that He charged on Israel.
41 А з ними Геман та Єдутун, та решта ви́браних, що були́ докла́дно зазначені поіменно, щоб „Дякувати Господе́ві, бо навіки Його милосе́рдя!“
And with them [are] Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest of those chosen, who were defined by name, to give thanks to YHWH, for His kindness [is] for all time;
42 А з ними су́рми та цимба́ли для тих, що грають, та знаря́ддя для Божої пісні. А сини Єдутунові — сторожі до брами.
and with them—Heman and Jeduthun—[are] trumpets and cymbals for those sounding, and instruments of the song of God, and the sons of Jeduthun [are] at the gate.
43 І порозхо́дився ввесь народ, кожен до дому свого. А Давид вернувся, щоб поблагословити свій дім.
And all the people go, each to his house, and David turns around to bless his house.
