4 Ной, Сим, Хам та Яфет.
Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
5 Сини Яфетові: Ґомер, і Маґоґ, і Мадай, і Яван, і Тувал, і Мешех, і Тірас.
The sons of Japheth, Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech and Tiras.
6 А сини Ґомерові: Ашкеназ і Діфат, і Тоґарма.
And, the sons of Gomer, Ashkenaz, and Diphath, and Togarmah.
7 А сини Яванові: Еліша й Таршіша, кіттяни й роданяни.
And, the sons of Javan, Elishah, and Tarshish, —Kittim, and Rodanim.
8 Сини Хамові: Куш і Міцра́їм, Пут і Ханаан.
The sons of Ham, Cush, and Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.
9 А сини Кушеві: Шева, і Хавіла, і Савта, і Раама, і Савтеха. А сини Рамині: Шева й Дедан.
And, the sons of Cush, Seba, and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raama, and Sabteca. And, the sons of Raamah, Sheba, and Dedan.
10 А Куш породи́в Німрода, — він зачав бути ве́летом на землі.
And, Cush, begat Nimrod, —he, began to be a mighty one in the earth.
11 А Міцраїм породив лудян, і анам'ян, і легав'ян, і нафтух'ян,
And, Mizraim, begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,
12 і патрусян, і каслух'ян, що вийшли звідти филисти́мляни, і кафторян.
and Pathrusim, and Casluhim—whence went forth the Philistines, and Caphtorim.
13 А Ханаан породив Сидона, свого первородженого, і Хета,
And, Canaan, begat Zidon his firstborn, and Heth;
14 і євусеянина, і амореянина, і ґірґашеянина,
and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite;
15 і хіввеянина, і аркеянина, і сінеянина,
and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite;
16 і арвадянина, і цемарянина, і хаматянина.
and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.
17 Сини Симові: Елам, і Ашшу́р, і Арпахшад, і Луд, і Ара́м. Сини Арамові: і Уц, і Хул, і Ґетер, і Мешех.
The sons of Shem, Elam, and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram, —and Uz, and Hul, and Gethur, and Meshech.
18 А Арпахшад породив Шалаха, а Шалах породив Евера.
And, Arpachshad, begat Shelah, —and, Shelah, begat Eber.
19 А Еверові народилося двоє синів, — ім'я́ одно́му Пелеґ, бо за його днів була поділена земля, а ім'я́ брата його — Йоктан.
And, unto Eber, were born two sons, —the name of the one, was Peleg, for, in his days, was the earth divided, and, the name of his brother, was Joktan.
20 А Йоктан породи́в Алмодада, і Шелефа, і Хацармавета, і Єраха,
And, Joktan, begat Almodad, and Sheleph, —and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah;
21 і Гадорама, і Узала, і Діклу,
and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah;
22 і Евала, і Авімаїла, і Шеву,
and Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba;
23 і Офіра, і Хавілу, і Йовава, — усі вони сини Йоктанові.
and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these, were the sons of Joktan.
24 Сим, Арпахшад, Шелах,
Shem, Arpachshad, Shelah;
25 Пелеґ, Реу,
Eber, Peleg, Reu;
26 Серуґ, Нахор, Терах,
Serug, Nahor, Terah;
27 Аврам, він же Авраа́м.
Abram—the same, is Abraham.
28 Сини Авраамові: Ісак та Ізмаї́л.
The sons of Abraham, Isaac and Ishmael.
29 Оце їхні наща́дки: первороджений Ізмаї́лів Невайот, і Кедар, і Адбеїл, і Мівсам,
These, are their generations, —the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebaioth, then Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam;
30 Мішма, і Дума, Масса, Хадад, і Тема,
Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema;
31 Єтур, Нафіш, і Кедема, — оце вони сини Ізмаї́лові.
Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These, are the sons of Ishmael.
32 А сини Кетури, Авраамової наложниці: вона породила Зімрана, і Йокшана, і Медана, і Мідіяна, і Їшбака, і Шуаха. А Йокшанові сини: Шева й Дедан.
And, the sons of Keturah, the concubine of Abraham, she bare Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah, —and, the sons of Jokshan, Sheba, and Dedan;
33 А Мідіянові сини: Ефа, і Ефер, і Ханох, і Авіда, і Елдаа, — ці всі сини Кетури.
and, the sons of Midian, Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these, were the sons of Keturah.
34 А Авраа́м породив Ісака. Ісакові сини: Ісав і Ізра́їль.
So then Abraham begat Isaac, —the sons of Isaac, were Esau and Israel.
35 Ісавові сини: Еліфаз, Реуїл, і Єуш, і Йалам, і Кора.
the sons of Esau, Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jalam, and Korah.
36 Сини Еліфазові: Теман і Омар, Цефі й Ґатам, Кеназ і Тімна, і Амалик.
The sons of Eliphaz, Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.
37 Сини Реуїлові: Нахат, Зерах, Шамма й Мізза.
The sons of Reuel, Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.
38 А сини Сеїрові: Лотан, і Шовал, і Ців'он, і Ана, і Дішон, і Ецер, і Дішан.
And, the sons of Seir, Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, —and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.
39 А сини Лотанові: Хорі, і Гомам, і Ахот, Лотан, Тімна.
And, the sons of Lotan, Hori, and Homam, —and, Lotan’s sister, was Timna.
40 Сини Шовалові: Ал'ян, і Манахат, і Евал, Шефі, і Онам. А сини Ців'онові: Айя й Ана.
The sons of Shobal, Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi and Onam. And, the sons of Zibeon, Aiah and Anah.
41 А сини Анині: Дішон. А сини Дішонові: Хамран, і Ешбан, і Їтран, і Керан.
The sons of Anah, Dishon, —and, the sons of Dishon, Hamran, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
42 Сини Ецерові: Білган, і Зааван, Яакан. Сини Дішонові: Уц та Аран.
The sons of Ezer, Bilhan, and Zaavan, Jaakan. The sons of Dishan, Uz and Aran.
43 А оце царі, що царювали в Едо́мовому кра́ї перед зацарюванням царя в Ізраїлевих синів: Бела, Беорів син, а ім'я́ його міста — Дінгава.
Now, these, are the kings, who reigned in the land of Edom, before there reigned a king of the sons of Israel, —Bela the son of Beor, and, the name of his city, was Dinhabah.
44 І помер Бела, а замість нього зацарював Йовав, Зерахів син з Боцри.
And Bela died, —and there reigned in his stead, Jobab son of Zerah, of Bozrah.
45 І помер Йовав, а замість нього зацарював Хушам із кра́ю теманянина.
And Jobab died, —and there reigned in his stead, Husham, of the land of the Temanites.
46 І помер Хушам, а замість нього зацарював Гадад, Бедадів син, що побив був Мідіяна на Моавському полі, а ім'я́ місту його Авіт.
And Husham died, —and there reigned in his stead, Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab, and, the name of his city, was Avith.
47 І помер Гадад, а замість нього зацарював Самла з Масреки.
And Hadad died, —and there reigned in his stead, Samlah of Masrekah.
48 І помер Самла, а замість нього зацарював Саул з Рехевот-Ганнагару.
And Samlah died, —and there reigned in his stead, Shaul, of Rehoboth by the River.
49 І помер Саул, а замість нього зацарював Баал-Ханан, син Ахборів.
And Shaul died, —and there reigned in his stead, Baal-hanan, the son of Achbor.
50 І помер Баал-Ханан, а замість нього зацарював Гадад, а ім'я́ його міста — Раї, а ім'я́ жінки його — Мегетав'їл, дочка Матреда, дочки́ Ме-Загавової.
And Baal-hanan died, —and there reigned in his stead, Hadad, and, the name of his city, was Pai, —and, the name of his wife, was Mehetabel, daughter of Matred, daughter of Mezahab.
51 І помер Гадад. І були потому провідники́ Едому: провідни́к Тімна, провідник Ал'я, провідник Єтет,
And Hadad died. And there were chiefs of Edom: chief Timna, chief Aliah, chief Jetheth;
52 провідник Оголівама, провідник Ела, провідник Пінон,
chief Oholibamah, chief Elah, chief Pinon;
53 провідник Кеназ, провідник Теман, провідник Мівцар,
chief Kenaz, chief Teman, chief Mibzar;
54 провідни́к Маґдіїл, провідник Ірам, — оце провідники́ Едому.
chief Magdiel, chief Iram. These, were the chiefs of Edom.
