До филип'ян 1
1 Павел та Тимотей, слуги Ісуса Христа, до всїх сьвятих у Христї Ісусї, що в Филипах, з єпископами і дияконами:
Paul and Timotheus, servants of Jesus Christ, to all the holy ones in Christ Jesus who are in Philippi, with overseers and servants:
2 Благодать вам і мир від Бога, Отця нашого, і Господа Ісуса Христа.
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ!
3 Дякую Богу моєму при всякому споминї про вас,
I give thanks to my God on all the remembrance of you,
4 (завсїди в кожній молитві моїй за всїх вас з радощами молячись, )
always, in every supplication of mine for you all, with joy making the supplication,
5 за товаришуваннє ваше в благовістї від первого дня й досі,
for your contribution to the good news from the first day until now,
6 впевнившись про те, що хто розпочав у вас добре діло, звершувати ме аж до дня Ісуса Христа.
having been confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you, will complete [it] until [the] day of Jesus Christ,
7 Яко ж праведно єсть мені се думати про всїх вас, тим що маю вас у серцї і у вязницї моїй і в обороні і в утвердженню благовістя, вас усїх, спільників моїх благодати.
according as it is righteous for me to think this in behalf of you all, because of my having you in the heart, both in my bonds, and [in] the defense and confirmation of the good news, all of you being fellow-partakers with me of grace.
8 Бог бо менї сьвідок, як я люблю усїх вас по милости Ісус-Христовій.
For God is my witness, how I long for you all with [the] yearnings of Jesus Christ,
9 І про се молюсь, щоб любов ваша ще більш та й бїльш достаткувала у розумі і у всякому чутті,
and this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in full knowledge, and all discernment,
10 щоб допевнитись вам, що лучче, і щоб були чисті і непорушені в день Христа,
for your proving the things that differ, that you may be pure and offenseless—to [the] Day of Christ,
11 сповнені овощами праведности через Ісуса Христа на славу й хвалу Божу.
being filled with the fruit of righteousness, that [is] through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
12 Хочу ж, щоб ви, браттє, зрозуміли, що те, що сталось менї, більш на користь благовістя вийшло,
And I intend you to know, brothers, that the things concerning me, rather have come to an advancement of the good news,
13 так що кайдани мої в Христї обявились у всьому судищі і по всїх инших (місцях),
so that my bonds have become evident in Christ in the whole Praetorium, and to all the other places,
14 і більше братів у Господї, упевнившись кайданами моїми, ще більш осьмілились без страху глаголати слово.
and the greater part of the brothers in the LORD, having confidence by my bonds, are more abundantly bold to fearlessly speak the word.
15 Деякі з зависти та перекору, а инші з доброї волї проповідують Христа.
Certain, indeed, even through envy and contention, and certain also through goodwill, preach the Christ;
16 Инші з перекору проповідують Христа, не щиро, думаючи завдати горя кайданам моїм,
one, indeed, of rivalry proclaims the Christ, not purely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds,
17 а другі з любови, знаючи, що я за оборону благовістя (в кайданах) лежу.
and the other out of love, having known that I am set for defense of the good news:
18 Що ж бо? тільки все таки, чи для виду, чи по правді, Христос проповідуєть ся; і я сим радуюсь і радувати мусь.
what then? In every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is proclaimed—and I rejoice in this, indeed, and will rejoice.
19 Знаю бо, що се обернеть ся на моє спасеннє вашою молитвою і поміччю Духа Ісус-Христового,
For I have known that this will turn out to me for salvation, through your supplication, and the supply of the Spirit of Christ Jesus,
20 по дожиданню і надїї моїй, що нї в чому не осоромлюсь, а з усією сьміливостю, як завсїди, так і тепер звеличить ся Христос у тїлї моїм, чи то життем, чи то смертю.
according to my earnest expectation and hope, that I will be ashamed in nothing, and in all freedom, as always, also Christ will now be magnified in my body, whether through life or through death,
21 Бо життє менї Христос, а смерть надбаннє.
for to me to live [is] Christ, and to die [is] gain.
22 Коли ж жити менї тілом, се минї овощ дїла, то що й вибрати, не знаю.
And if to live in the flesh [is] to me a fruit of work, then what will I choose? I do not know;
23 Тісно бо менї від обох, маючи бажаннє розвязатись (із тілом), та з Христом бути; багато бо воно лучче.
for I am pressed by the two, having the desire to depart, and to be with Christ, for it is far better,
24 А щоб пробувати в тїлї, се нужнїш ради вас.
and to remain in the flesh is more necessary on your account,
25 І певно знаю, що зістанусь (у тїлї) і пробувати му з усїма вами на вашу користь і радість віри,
and being persuaded of this, I have known that I will remain and continue with you all, to your advancement and joy of the faith,
26 щоб ваша похвала много достаткувала в Христї Ісусї, як прийду знов до вас.
that your boasting may abound in Christ Jesus in me through my coming again to you.
27 Тільки достойно благовістя Христового живіть, щоб, чи я прийду та побачу вас, чи то й не буду між вами, почув про вас, що стоїте в одному дусї, і однією душею боретесь за віру євангелську,
Only conduct yourselves worthily of the good news of the Christ, that, whether having come and seen you, whether being absent I may hear of the things concerning you, that you stand fast in one spirit, with one soul, striving together for the faith of the good news,
28 і не жахаючись нї в чому від противників; се їм явний знав погибелі, а вам спасення, і воно від Бога.
and not be terrified in anything by those opposing, which is indeed a token of destruction to them, and to you of salvation, and that from God;
29 Бо вам дано, що до Христа, не тільки в Него вірувати, та задля Него й страждати,
because to you it was granted, on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer on behalf of Him;
30 маючи ту ж боротьбу, яку в менї виділи, і тепер чуєте про мене.
having the same conflict, such as you saw in me, and now hear of in me.
